We had tabule and kofte kabob. Prices are very reasonable and great entertainment. There is live music. We had a fun night.
I can also recommend its bar.

I have driven past Juliana's hundreds of times without ever giving it a moment's thought. However, my husband & I enjoy watching belly dancing, and when I did an online search for places that had it, Juliana's came up. The owner, Alfred, is Assyrian, and he is also the lead singer for the house band. On a Saturday night, the place was pretty crowded, and I believe we were the only non-Middle-Eastern people there. The owner came over & chatted with us, and made the rounds of the house generally, making everyone feel like they were at a party in his own home. Every food item that we ordered was delicious, and our waiter made some recommendations which were excellent. There is a 2-drink minimum, which was not a problem since we were there for several hours. The band was excellent, as was Vanessa, the Brazilian belly dancer.
A few things you should be aware of, to have the best experience:
1) If you enjoy belly dancing, bring some small bills to throw at her! Lots of the men were doing this.
2) This venue is also, apparently, a hookah lounge, which we did not know in advance. (Should have read the TripAdvisor reviews -- haha!) It got VERY smoky with some 10+ hookahs being smoked all around -- the only thing that we didn't like about the place.
3) Make reservations -- the place fills up on weekends.
4) This will NOT be a cheap evening. Plan on sitting there for several hours, eating & drinking. Our appetizers/dinner/drinks/tax & tip for 2 people was $150, but absolutely worth it.

I ordered online from this restaurant and went to pick up my food and it was closed. i then proceeded to call the number for the restaurant, and it said that the number was disconnected. These people stole my money and want to get away with it! i strongly recommend to stay away. i am planning on suing them!!!

I forgot my blue beat by dre earphone worth $ 130 on the table we occupied this Saturday. I realized it when I arrived home. I directly called the restaurant to tell them that. they did not pick up. in the morning when I remember they tell me that the cleaning group has surely taken this. and that they would inquire and call me back. so far nothing. it's been almost 2 weeks already. and when bein even I remind nobody no longer get my number.

This place is just sick it's got a great smokey atmosphere and the food is authentic middle eastern food. The owner is also the crooner of the live band that plays there and the son the manager. It's family run and most people seem to be regulars there. You can smoke in there it's out of the 70s but the hookahs and the food make the place fun. The son is a great singer too and after great coaxing will belt out some oldies in perfect pitch.

The restaurant is fully booked every weekend.
The belly dancers and live band complete the atmosphere, as the owner enlightens us with Middle Eastern song.
The food is good, but is very smokey for me. Being a non-smoker the smokethat come from the hookas and fills the restaurants is quite bothering .
Very nice place with very friendly owners and personell. Totally recommend it if you want to check out this time of cultures and entertainment.

Best on Fri night, packed on Sat night. A bit smokey. Middle Eastern band and belly dancer were excellent, as was the singing and dancing. Great food. Of all the Middle Eastern hangouts in the north Chicago area, this one seems to be the best. Excellent for celebrations. Not for children.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, authentic menu, one of the best hookahs I've ever tried.
Live music, bellydancers - above all praise. A pleasant surprise if you're fed up with glamourous Paris Club style places.
