It was a cold Friday morning around 9am and when we arrived, there was a 20 minute wait. Fortunately they have a coffee shop on the corner that wasn’t busy that we had a coffee and waited for our call that the table was ready. They have a “famous” burrito with a choice a meat (we chose chorizo) and it was delicious. More than enough to share between two people, it offered a great start to a day of visiting the Capitol and the Idaho State Museum, just down the street. A small venue with 8 tables downstairs and a 5 person “bar” with a few tables upstairs. While we dined, the wait grew to 60 minutes. Lots of great options on the menu with prompt and attentive service.

We went to restaurant and wait time was going to be 40 mins so the hostess suggested we go around corner to their coffee shop/bakery. We split piece of lemon poppy bread (mmmmmm) and got coffees. Before we were done my phone rang and they had a table for us - so it was not even close to 40 mins! Food at restaurant was yummy. Service was friendly and we would definitely go back.

Hands-down the best breakfast I have ever had. This is a cozy little breakfast place that wows. Where else could I ever get an asparagus and gruyère omelet? The corned beef hash was amazing - more meat than potatoes which is not the norm. The blueberry pancake was outstanding. Coffee was great. Service was good - not stellar, but they were packed so I get it. Highly recommend!

We arrived about 9 am on a Saturday and were told that the wait would be an hour, but we signed up because we hoped it would be worth the wait. We did wait an hour, plus, and were finally seated at a tiny table. The wait staff was very attentive, and drinks came right away but our food took almost 45 minutes to appear, and then was just OK. We shared a biscuit and gravy - the biscuit was cold and the gravy very floury. I had the daily special - an omelet which was mostly egg and very little of the "filling", and my partner had a breakfast burrito - which said was very good and filling. I also thought the prices were very high for breakfast food compared to other local breakfast spots. In all, I would not stand in line over an hour for this breakfast. Not special! Several locals later told me that the Goldy's of 10 years ago was fabulous, but now only tourists go there.

We arrived and told it was a 30 minute wait. Not a problem. We were seated in the coffee shop area within the 30 minute mark. My speciality coffee I ordered was luke warm, they did warm it up. We ordered and waited and waited, our waitress never ever even came to check on us or explain. My spouse saw her talk to a couple of other tables. After 30 minutes he walked over and told her we were not going to wait much longer. She stated she would go check and after several minutes told us it should be another 10 minutes. We waited 15 minutes and gave up and walked out. It was our first time there and probably out last. Very disappointing. 🫤😡

I was using Trip Adviser for a place to eat in Boise ID. Goldy’s was rated #5 so we tried it. It was Fabulous, it should be #1. The food, service and ambiance was a place I will highly recommend. The homemade hollandaise sauce was creamy and rich with just a hint of lemon. I could see them making it in my mind which made the breakfast even better. The roasted / fried red potatoes were the icing on top. I would be a regular here but don’t want to drive that far just for those wonderful Eggs Benedict. Next time we pass through we’ll know where to eat.

We went early on a Saturday and had a great, and hearty breakfast. I ordered the pumpkin ginger pancakes (short stack) and my husband got the Basque omelet. Both were delicious and very ample portions. Service was attentive and friendly. Before we left, the wait for those wanting to come in to eat was 45+ minutes. We’ll worth getting up early to enjoy a wonderful breakfast.

After 2 years of living here I had to go see what all the hype was about. Every time I drive by on a weekend morning, the line is around the corner to get in. I had the spicy chicken benedict and enjoyed it while it was rather dry since they skimped on the hollandaise sauce. Other than that we enjoyed it. Service was good, food was served in a decent time considering how many people were there. Cant say I'd wait in that hour long line on a Saturday, but its worth a shot

Group of 8 fully vaccinated adults went there for a "morning after wedding" breakfast. They were able to put all of us together, took our orders and brought out the food very quickly. Service, conditions and atmosphere was great. Note - the coffee is not the best, but it does not lower the overall ratings given.

This is conveniently located to our downtown hotel. On a Friday morning at 8:30, it was already crowded and full. We ate at a table in the sidewalk, which was not charming or a special treat, but was quicker and, in the age of Covid-19, was more appealing than inside, where the tables are very close together. My wife had the granola and fruit and yogurt, which was fine, but would have been better with milk rather than yogurt. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon & cucumber, which was very good. The coffee and service were just right and the price for two, including tax and tip, was about $26.

Having lived in Colorado where breakfast burritos are a staple, the burrito at Goldy's was not bad but just did not live up to the reviews. The bacon was crispy and had good seasoning. The chunks of potatoes were also seasoned well but made the burrito as a whole, dry. Overall it was missing moisture. They should be the salsa directly into the burrito. Also you basically get half a large burrito for $7 which is steep. Quaint diner style corner spot.

Unique breakfast joint! I’d read many reviews and wanted to go there in the past but it was always too busy. This time we got right in! Service is great. I always complain that breakfast pretty much the same everywhere; not so here! They have a wide range from vegetation to the full meat eater with from local basque sausage to chicken breast! No less than 4 kinds of sausage! I spicy eggs Benedict with bacon and chicken breast on an English muffin. Huge. Delicious. We shared a fruit bowl; awesome fresh fruit (how many times do you order fruit and get non-ripe melon or berries? There is a serious commitment to quality here! We’ll be back.

Kinda of little hole in the wall and a bit of wait, but make sure to put them on your go to spots. Food was amazing and their goldys seasoning makes you want to go next door and take a bottle home. Don't miss this little gem

I eat here when I can get in without waiting in line, and this place has really GREAT homemade hollandaise sauce on their eggs Benedict. It’s quaint inside (cozy in a way) an historic building in Old Boise....yes, we’re big enough to say that considering that nearby Grove Street used to be a grove of trees! They make real food and the service has been above average. If you get seated right away, that’s your bonus round. Worth a visit.

This place was near my hotel and was recommended if I was willing to get there early or at least understand there might be a wait. At 8:30 on a Sat it was full except for one chair at the counter. I took it. There was a 20 min wait at that point. The servers were very attentive. Various ones stopped by to ask about more coffee, water, milk. I don’t eat eggs and there are many egg options but I can’t tell you about those. I had pancakes and because it looked good, one biscuit and gravy. All were good. I was pleased and full for my flight home.
