This is an odd place that’s off the beaten path in Tybee. Ate at the bar with daughter had charcuterie plate and hot dogs. The drinks are inventive and fairly priced. I didn’t get the beef rib but the ones I saw coming out of the kitchen looked great. There’s a lot of thought and originality in the menu. Everything was well prepared. The food and the drinks are very fairly priced and considering the quality it’s a very good value which leads me to believe they’re going after repeat year round business and not just fleecing vacationers.

Calling this restaurant "eclectic" doesn't remotely do it justice. Imagine a restaurant that offers you a 5x5" square menu divided into 4 quadrants: one for oysters, one for hot dogs, one for vegan dishes, and one for desserts... Yes, you got that right. I couldn't have made that up if I tried. Without buying into the proposition that a menu focused on hot dogs and vegan food is a winning idea, I will say that we ate some delightful food at Sea Wolf! The oysters were fresh and delicious and I enjoyed a flavorful local IPA. We also ordered the charcuterie board that they were willing to modify to exclude pork products. The cheeses and salmon and scallop pates were delicious and made a lovely light meal. The wait staff was professional, well-informed and friendly. The atmosphere was laid-back and relaxing. Overall a great experience.

Rainy night so we were looking for indoor dining. This place is in a small converted cottage. Had a Five Hour Energy cocktail which was good; my wife had a glass of wine that was served in a small champagne glass…definitely a small pour for the price. She had the Beets and Arugula Salad; it came with Lobster Salad but she cannot have onions as they tear her up digestively. Everything there is prepared with onions apparently so she had the salad without the lobster. I had the Sonoran Hot Dog which was very good although at $14 it should have come with some sort of side. Since it didn’t I ordered the fingerling potatoes. Not sure how to describe them: they were okay but it just seems the dish ingredients didn’t all go together well. For some people, all this may be unique and cool as some of the reviews here attest. For us, the menu was too limited and they appear to be trying too hard to be funky, bohemian, whatever.

This was Triple D spot?? Nothing special here. Rather disappointing. While several other spots in town were jammed this spot was 1/3 full inside….and deadly quiet. The inside space was dark, and nothing special. Limited menu choices. This is really just a Hot Dog spot. Table service was from a disinterested person “going thru the motions”. Personable, attentive, charming, helpful would never be adjectives to describe the server. The hot dogs are supposed to be Wagu beef but we both thought they tasted ordinary. Upset stomachs that night. …and for hotdogs they were very expensive…and served warm (not hot) There was some good action at the cocktail bar. There is also a small patio outside. Overall… compared to the other Triple D joint in town, and in other cities this trip….disappointing. We got out of there as fast as we could.

Stumbled on this place kind of late (9pm ish) on a Thursday night while exploring Tybee by golf cart. What a find!! Cozy and welcoming atmosphere with a menu that changes every couple of weeks. And what a menu! Upscale yet familiar, like Wagyu hot dogs on a brioche bun that were knockout delicious. Also tried a dish with pork butt on some mind-blowing creamy mashed potatoes with cilantro-garlic oil —-incredibly delicious. They also have a small but well stocked bar and some fun cocktails. This isn’t really a place that kids would appreciate, even with the hot dogs, but adults MUST go here. Truly a memorable meal.

We had heard mixed reviews and were nervous about dining here. We loved it! But I can see it would not be for everyone. Cozy atmosphere with a cabin feel. We sat at the bar (maybe 10-12 seats) and enjoyed the Zippah cocktail. Nice craft cocktail menu and local draft beers at a reasonable price. We split the smorgasbord with white anchovies and 2 shots. We loved the red dragon cheese and I enjoyed the anchovies. Then we shared the lamb dog and the funeral sandwiches (pork belly sliders). Oysters, Mussels and a nice beet salad were also on the menu. So definitely an eclectic menu, which we like when well done. We will add this restaurant to our rotation!

The smoked beef belly was very good, the expensive hotdog was o.k,, but for the price and no side, I wasn't impressed. Maybe I prefer Nathans dogs too much?? I really wanted to see a menu full of fabulous cocktails, but I did not. I ordered a Moscow and the ginger beer was overpowering. I would probably go back for the atmosphere and get their wings instead.

I can not say enough how wonderful The Sea Wolf is ! The food was the best we had in our week here , The service was top notch as well . Dont expect the typical fried shrimp with fries and slaw expect something completely different and open your mind to a dinning experience like no other on Tybee . Eclectic on the inside with a nice outside seating area as well . A small bar area with a bartender who knew her stuff and wait staff well versed in their menu items . Sambal Hummus was our starter and it was some of the best we have ever had . The board with meat and cheese was outstanding ! Not your typical board with some salami and cheese with fruit , it had wagyu weenies and brown sugar duck , excellent derby cheese and the creamiest stella blue we have ever had ! The best part was the panna cotta for dessert , the best we have ever had . If my review seems over the top , my wife and I have spent years in the food service business and the whole place deserves kudos from top to bottom , especially the kitchen where their skills shinned thru ! Become part of The "Pack"...........check out The Sea Wolf !

Our Airbnb host recommended this place and it’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. Specializing in oysters, artisan hot dogs made from wagyu beef, and vegan food, the menu is limited but creative and changes on a weekly basis. The chorizo hot dog was delicious, filling and just enough for a light dinner. If you don’t have an adventurous perspective and willing to try new things, this place is not for you.

This place is so charming and quaint. We had cocktails, oysters and the tuna dip and all were so delicious. The staff is friendly. The hostess was lovely and accommodating. We first went with a large party and later went back with a smaller group and she was gracious to both sizes. Also, a shout out to an exceptional server- Paul! What a great guy!

We had a phenomenal experience at the Sea Wolf. The vibe is so fun- eclectic and festive, yet also down to earth. We had cocktails, the charcuterie ("Smorgasbord"), fish dip and Korean BBQ short ribs. Nothing was short of excellent, including prompt and friendly service. We will be returning on all of our future trips to the Savannah area!

Come to Tybee for the sand and sun. Stay and enjoy some outstanding dining. SeaWolf is one of those. A small but eclectic menu that changes daily. Today the duck hotdog with trimmings was awesome. We had sides of fried brussel sprouts and charred cauliflower. Topped off with a Guinness draft. Our waiter Paul was a wealth of information and very pleasant. Can’t wait to go back for a different choice.

Went here with friends, hoping for a pleasant dinner. When I asked if we could take an empty table, the waiter Ryan (?) Schmitty jumped down my throat with a loud and sarcastic response. I was completely offended and put off for the rest of the evening. The mediocre hot dog was not worth the uncalled for insults. Who treats paying customers with such a bad attitude?

This is a quaint little spot. The ambiance is fun and inviting. Great little spot to take a date. I had the Risotto which was good and you’ll find wines that you don’t see anywhere else. The hostess was very engaging and enthusiastic. She was accommodating and I can see her opening her own place one day and it being a smashing success. Greeted me at the door with an amazing smile and made me feel welcome. Parking is bad so if you can walk there then go for it.
