Writing this to respond to a person who wrote a bad review. This is a family business. 1 mistake does not deserve the review you gave. Please go to California and go to a 5 star place. And spend your money on what you want....Please do not tarnish this wonderful place. We do not want you here. Never had bad service or anything I did not want in my food. Accidents happen. I will return again and again to this place. It is out of the way. Well worth it. Did you see the service? Did you see the family? You are so blind to what is happening at this establishment. You have no idea. Do not return please. Lines are long enough as it is. Maybe I am being too blunt or mean. I would say to the one person who wrote the bad review, 1st grab a clue in your life and perspective. Then eat at a chain. Stay at the chain. Don't come to this place. I found Amy's by sure luck of not being able to sleep at the early morning hours. They are open super early. Even in the early morning there are people that are hungry for yummy food. If you want to feel like you are visiting family and friends for breakfast, give this a shot. You will feel like you are welcome. I dont want to give away their secret. Just go. It is the little things they do that make this place special. They ask my son every time if he is a student to give him a discount. That is ... I dont have the words. Maybe the word is special. Conclusion: I was not familiar with some of their eats. I am now. It is just wonderful good eating and great service. You can not put a price on the warm fuzzies after a great breakfast. Just my humble opinion.More

Amy La Fayes by far has the best breakfast in Dacula or anywhere close. The Owner and family run restaurant are the nicest people I have ever dealt with. The portion size is more than one person can eat! They have the very best biscuits...and gravy. The Bacon is thick sliced and the eggs are fresh. Don't even think about leaving without taking a piece of cake or a whole one!More

Loved the breakfast! I have been several times but one of my favorite biscuits is the sausage dipped in gravy.

Please change your picture. There is a hair on the biscuit in the pic. Aside from that, I've been for breakfast and lunch. So good. Service is excellent.

The biscuits at Amy La Faye’s are second to none! Especially the chicken biscuit. My family loves everything we have ever gotten there. The cinnamon rolls go fast so get there early!

Can't go wrong with anything. My personal favorite is biscuits & pork tenderloin topped with sausage gravy and hot sauce for about $7. That fills me all day.

Best breakfast in Georgia hands down! I'm a food blogger who travels all over reviewing restaurants and who'd have guessed I'd find one of the best of the best right in my backyard. The gravy is delicious - I always have to get a side...to dip my biscuit in. My favorite is the chicken biscuit- best I've ever had!More

Down home family cooking! Doesn't get better than Any La Faye's. Went on a CMA ride and everyone loved the food.

I love this place the food is great and the service to. But it gets busy at time with only one person making food. Buy it's worth the wait. They have the best cinnamon buns if you can get one.

Family owned and very friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is certainly nothing fancy, but the food here is really good home style cooking.

This was my first time today ever visiting this place and it was based off the reviews. I try to avoid eating out much but decided I had lived in the area too long to not try this place...well just what I thought the food...was actually good until I saw a long black piece for hair buried in my samdwhich. I can't call them to complain because their phone doesn't work and I'm too far away to turn around so now I'm off to find food elsewhere as I'm out and I'm starving.More

My friend and I had been wanting to visit this locally renowned breakfast spot for a while. As I am not an early riser on Saturday, I had to put a good bit of effort into making this trip. Finally, the opportunity arrived and my...friend and I were working our plan to get there. Many traffic and other obstacles later, we are 1/2 block from it at 10:26am. My heart is racing to see if we could get just 10 car lengths ahead to be able to turn into the parking lot. 10:33am. We made it! Run into the restaurant which was nearly empty and get to the hot table which was nearly empty as well, but alas, there were fresh biscuits in the oven, grits in the pan, and a narrowed list of meats to be had. Life is good! We both order platters which include just about everything you could possibly want for breakfast (if you are a savory lover). We both get the scrambled eggs (no other choice available), country steak, gravy, grits and a drink. We noticed there was one lone cinnamon roll left which my friend was eyeballing and finally decided she must have. They graciously offered to heat it and split it for us. I must say, for this being what I call a "leftovers" breakfast, it was delicious! The owner's mother and daughter helped us and were super sweet. The owner was on the premises with her brand new 2 week old baby boy and what a cutie. All of the family and workers were as sweet as they could be and didn't mind that we were taking our time savoring every bite of our food. That meal ended up lasting me until 8pm and more! I basically has a snack for dinner and was just fine. The cinnamon roll was heated as a dessert and was just wonderful thought could have had more cinnamon. Recommend this little delight in Dacula...just get there EARLY!....More

I met a friend here for breakfast, and recommended Amy Lafayes. They only have simple food, mostly biscuits, and it's a very small place with only a few tables/booths, but there was a continuous line of customers most of whom got take out. Parking was...very tight given the number of customers and small parking lot, but that's always the sign of a great restaurant! First of all, and most important, the food was excellent. I got sausage and egg biscuits and grits, and it came on styrofoam plates, so don't think fancy. Bottom line is that the food is excellent, and the attractive young lady serving the food (Amy I assume) is very easy on the eyes ;-) If you ever find yourself in Dacula, I highly recommend Amy Lafayes for breakfast - 5 stars - for excellent food, fast service, at a great price. Thanks for breakfast Amy (and crew).More

After hearing about this place I stopped in on the way home from the gym. I was craving breakfast food but breakfast is only served until 10:30 AM and I arrived too late. Sensing my disappointment, I was offered a chicken biscuit with gravy. It...was so good. The biscuit was soft and impressively light. It was only $3 which was far less than breakfast establishments elsewhere charge. I paid $14 for one in Charleston, SC. Next time I will make sure I arrive in time to enjoy a full breakfast.More
