This place is family owned and well worth the drive! We visit and load up on treats for family and friends on the regular. Plan to spend some money and ABSOLUTELY check out the awesome jellies and jams!!!
Breakfast was so yummy delicious! The biscuits with warm apple butter was sooo good. The sausage Pattie’s are handmade. 1 is enough & the grits. The first time I ever had creamy grits. They are only open on Saturday & Monday so make sure you...order biscuits to go for the next several days.More
Apples in all shapes and quantities plus the yummy stayman winesap variety. Great service from the folks we asked for help. Nice photo venues. Gorgeous area and scenery. Hard cider was good. The cider was ok, I wished it was fresh and cold. Really a...destination to try.More
My family and I stopped in for lunch while visiting Blue Ridge, on our way to Expedition Bigfoot. We ended up spending so much time here, enjoying lunch, shopping and the beautiful views on the property that by the time we left bigfoot was closed....Lunch was so delicious! My husband and I couldn't decide on what to choose so the kind lady taking our order gave suggestions. She was the sweetest and most patient with us. She even brought over samples of their famous apple donuts...YUM!
MUST HAVE;Ham & Jam Panini -Ciabatta bread pressed with peach jam, Black Forest ham, brie cheese, and crisp arugula & Apple Brie Panini -Thin slices of apples, creamy brie cheese and apple butter grilled on cranberry walnut bread
Add Turkey. Save room, or take a box to go, of their famous fried pies. My two favs were peach and pecan! Looking forward to our trip back in October!More
Ordered takeout and it was perfect. Nicely packaged, perfectly cooked. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Really happy with it. It was waiting for me when I got there, just went to the counter and picked up. The store is crazy, love the place. I will...be back for both shopping and breakfast.More
The apple donut holes served as an appetizer were dry and dense. My husband's burger was burned, and he only ate the part in the middle of the burger. The rest of us got paninis, and they were very hard and crunchy. We went to...the winery area of the store, and were disappointed to be told flights are only done on the weekend.More
Stopped in and shopped. Loved the fresh strawberries and peaches. Cider was good. I picked up scone mix, which I have not tried yet. We really liked the apple cider donuts. Fritters we didn't care for. They are big, but compared to others we have...had, they were dry and really lacked apples.More
Yummy! We went there for breakfast yesterday and it was so good. My husband and I both ordered the French toast and our kiddos ordered waffles. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The apple cider was good, too! We definitely will come back...when we return to Blue Ridge.More

It just depends really.
We haven't gotten enough rain lately for it to be muddy up there.
But if we get enough sometimes it can get a bit treacherous up there. Luckily that is not the case for this weekend! :)
