Jim is an outstanding baker who truly makes everything from scratch with perfect ingredients to create outstanding treats. He even made a special birthday cake by request to satisfy my husband's European tastes. If you can, have one of his sandwiches. My favorite is the...More

My favorite thing to eat at Jim's Small Batch Bakery is their blueberry muffins. I love their blueberry muffins because they have so many blueberries in them and they are moist. Some blueberry muffins are dry and plain. Not Jim's. ***Be sure to order several...More

I should start by saying my dad and husband eat an obscene amount of Jim’s bread while we vacation for 3 weeks in Siesta Key. Our favorites are the potato chive, rye, and challah with golden raisins. We also equally enjoy his bagels on Saturday’s....More

Simply put- you’re outraged that I defend my business from reviewers who lie about their experience. I know- I’m either there personally to witness, or huddle with my staff to carefully get the full story before responding. I repeat: I support reviewers who express their...More

This place is amazing. Bread is always fresh and smells wonderful. My husband goes every week and gets German chocolate cake for my Mom and she loves it. They even make bialys!! And absolutely delicious breakfast sandwiches, potatoes and soups too.

Small batches, real ingredients, and a deft hand... no proof & bake croissants, no muffin mixes, no Sysco cookie dough and no fake whipped cream. It's all from scratch and it's all made on premise. From authentic all-butter hand laminated croissants and perfect carrot cake, to fresh fruit sorbets and candied bacon BLTs on true artisanal bread, the variety, freshness and execution may surprise you at this humble little place.
