First time there and loved every bit of my breakfast. The avacado toast could not have been fresher, and the grits were excellent. We sat outside and although it overlooks the parking lot, it was very serene and quiet. I highly recommend this spot.

Wow this was an incredible breakfast. I had the avocado toast with Nova Scotia salmon and highly recommend it. My friend had the French toast with almonds, pecans and raisins and offered a bite. It was fabulous.
We love John G's. We've been going for breakfast twice a week for years. Our parents went everyday for about 20 years as well. The staff treat us like family and we've made many friends there (other diners) as well. Great food, service, atmosphere ....What more can I say???More
nice breakfast spot table outside was fine. service was great. food was nice. wide range menu. prices reasonable.
Great breakfast! I had the American Omellete and my wife had one of their specialties. Everything was scrumptious and service was excellent.
All good here food is excellent along with the service and a great take on other breakfast ideas so all I can say is you will not be disappointed
Bad experience, trying to dine with our Service dog. Outside stormy weather we decided to go inside to be more protected from heavy wind and rain. The very unfriendly hostess kind of threw us out right away of the dining room because our under 6...pds Service dog, with legal official proof, was not allowed to sit in his covered stroller, where he would be not in the way of other diners and close to his handler. She claimed he has to sit on the floor for health code, which he could of course, but its more comfortable for the small creature to be next to his handler in his own pet/ dog stroller. Nevertheless we of course would never go back to this establishment. Btw all, hotels and including 5 star Restaurants are very happy and kind to serve us with a Service Dog, if in a stroller or under the table. Never had this experience! Very sad.More
We go to John G’s twice a week for breakfast. We would go every day if we lived closer. Great food, great friendly service. It’s our home away from home
Came for lunch. And so though the menu was not large salads were a good deal with different types of protein yo be added. Portion was good sized snd although it us pretty much stayed inside the value is there. If you line burgers or...Franks you are a winner here Lots if seniors come furvtge large sizes.More
We have been John Gs fans since 1982 when we moved to south Florida. We have since moved to central Fla but have continued to make the (2.5 hr) drive because it was that good. Our visit for lunch this week was a huge disappointment....We waited 30+ minutes for our food which was a change. Theyre known for getting the orders in and out quickly. My mother got the fish and fruit. It was plentiful but the fish batter had little flavor and several pieces of the fruit were brown. My sister and I had the broiled and fried scallops. The broiled scallops were floating in a liquid/sauce that wasnt appealing to taste or appearance. My fried scallops were bland at best. The steak fries used to be awesome. They were cold, brown and well, awful. The crabcakes added to the platters again had no flavor and were overcooked. The coleslaw did not disappoint. For the 3 of us, the lunch bill was $140. Note: i always got the seafood platter and had a takehome box for a 2nd meal. That lunch platter is now $44.95. I think our last visit it was $29. I am well aware of product costs increases and if the quality were the same, I would have no issue. When prices skyrocket and the food/service deteriorate, it doesn't warrant the day trip. :(More
After eating lousy free hotel food, it was nice getting a real traditional breakfast at John G's again. I didn't realize it was withing a mile or two from our hotel. We have been coming to this restaurat for many years when we visit S....Florida. They were located at Lakewoprth Beach for years, then moved here. Always a good meal and well garnished too. Its all good. I had the Italian Omelet. Something different, and so were the potatoes.More
Wife and I and brother in law went here and all of us had the corned beef which came with slaw and a pickle and a hot side dish of baked beans. Had the sandwiich on a roll instead of the rye bread. Good corned...beef,very good cole slaw and the beans were really good. Service was really good and very polite. place is large but is very clean with good parking outside. restrooms were very clean. a top spot for breakfast and lunch a very large varied menu for all tastes. Great for the entire family.More
Food was delicious. Family restaurant. Highly recommend for great food and quick service. Our table got the fish sandwich, Reuben sandwich, and turkey/ham sandwich. We all couldn't decide which was better.
Just had my first John G’s experience and it was great! The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I got the Novo Bagel Platter with a pumpernickel bagel (love that they have these, my favorite) and my boyfriend got the Eggs Benedict with smoked...salmon, he practically licked the plate. Would highly recommend.More
Back to John G’s for brunch with my wife and son… The menu has changed a bit and we were pleasantly surprised. Prices were up a bit, as you can expect… but still worth every penny. Actually we noticed some nice upgrades… We had the...eggs Benedict’s w/lox, the Nova bagel platter, and my son the pancakes, and it was all delicious. We will be back to try it all…More
