Yes, we are Italian! We do speak Italian and we make authentic Italian pizza and unbelievable Italian Gelato. Come to visit us and have a taste of Italy! Leonardo, Silvia, Chiara and Mauro. P.S. We will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Happy Holidays!!!

I picked up my wife at Fort Lauderdale airport and was looking for a new pizza 🍕 restaurant to try. Wow!!!
It was already late but the very kind owner said he would still be open. We order Margherita pizza, cheese bread, lasagna and salad to take home. While there to pick up, we were able to each share a slice of white pizza with spinach and ricotta. Amazing. Pizza dough was artesian quality.
We drove home and devoured the pizza and lasagna leaving the salad for Sunday night.
Only disappointed that we didn't get the dolce gelato to take home.
The gelato looks like it is straight from Florence.
We will definitely be back and thank the owner for being so helpful.

I give Dolce five stars for a few reasons. First, the staff/owners here are so nice to everyone you feel like you are part of the extended family. Second, you can get your pizza by the slice and it reminds me of trips I have taken to NYC and third to top it off you can finish it all with some creamy gelato. And who does not like a rich and creamy finish to a pleasant evening? There is outside and inside seating. This is a place where you order and pay the cashier so it is not a sit down restaurant. If you want something quick but satisfying, I think this is a very good option within the Manors.

My daughter and I had a full day of travel to Fort Lauderdale. We were exhausted and starving, with a tourist sense of obligation to eat something local, delicious, authentic..... pizza seemed wrong after flying from Kansas to the coast, but we didn’t want to clean up but we didn’t want a drive through either. Dolce Salato Pizza seemed close enough to our criteria! What a treasure. The family matriarch seemed to be sitting in the middle of the action. Young adult kids speaking Italian helping take orders, cooking, helping with what I assum is a family business. The man serving us checked in us no less than 5 times- with the sweetest demeanor over the most delicious bread sticks, pizza, and yes the homemade tiramisu. We aren’t in Florida to eat Italian food, or else we would be back often before returning home! Real people serving real food. Oh- and dollars more than fast food chain pizza. What a bargain.

We ate here our last evening in Florida. Wish we would have gone sooner because it was absolutely delicious! You can order pizza by the slice or order an entire pizza! We opted for the whole thing! I had the pineapple and ham. Oh my! My husband got the stuffed pizza and he loved it! The portion sizes are large so plan on taking some home for later! We had the Gelato as well! Our favorite was the mint chocolate chip! This is a small place with indoor and outdoor seating available! We will most definitely eat here again! Highly recommend!!

Came because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. The pizza was very good. That’s all we had as we were looking for a nice casual meal.
Be advised that this place is extremely casual and it’s a small operation. There’s about 6 tables inside and 2 outside. The girl working the counter is the one that serves you if you sit for a meal.
They do serve beer and wine.
Parking is a bit difficult, but according to them, you can park in the lot next to their building, even though the name of their establishment is not on the sign for those allowed to park. I did, and had no issues.
Value is there. Probably a bit pricier than other pizzerias with similar atmosphere, but in my opinion, they have the privilege of charging more as they taste better.
Overall, great pizza and would recommend.

The couple (and staff) are just the friendliest people, really so warm and welcoming. This is a small and simple Mom and Pop operation. Order and pay at the counter, grab a seat (indoors or out doors) and the food arrives quickly. The food is delicious and as the name suggests, pizza and gelato are really the things to order.
My diet is Pescatarian and I always get the whole stuffed vegetarian pizza and the large Peninsula Mediterranean) salad. It is enough to take home for a second dinner and extra pizza in the freezer. I never have room for a gelato, so I have to come separately for gelato. It is worth the trip.
Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. Use (Sign up) for the Clover App and remember to sign in - - the perks are very generous.
I really appreciate good food and good service…and I LOVE Dolce Salado.

This restaurant is where to go for authentic tasting pizza and gelato. The ambience is great, and Leonardo treats customers like they’re family. The pizza is really the best item on the menu. The crust is soft on the inside, firm on the outside and the cheese is perfectly melted on top. Recommended 100%

My husband and I were in town for a few days and decided to try this place for lunch. We have spent time in Italy, so we can be hard to please when it comes to pizza and gelato. But, Mr. and Mrs. Baldi make both pizza and gelato perfectly! The pizza crust is thin and crispy. The toppings are plentiful. The white pizza has a garlic zing that I love.
The gelato is the best that we've ever had in America. It's really amazing. It is thick and creamy and cannot be mistaken for ice cream. That's the right way to make gelato, by the way. We cannot wait to come back to town to try their other dishes. I hear their lasagna is wonderful!
There are a few parking spaces on the side of the building that have parking meters, so bring some change. Otherwise, there is a small free parking lot behind the building.

I tried multiple Pizza places but Dolce Salato has the best Pizza.
They have in and outdoor space where you can sit and enjoy your Pizza.
The owners are nice and friendly.
The price is convenient for the Pizza.
The only reason why I didn't rate 5 stars is because the Gelato.s price has been too much increased.
Other than the price the Gelato is amazing.

Found: absolutely the best gelato I've tasted in the US. Indistinguishable from the best in Italy, which I sampled for 4 years living there. Best of all, they have an insulated take-home box to enjoy later. Italian owners who take great pride in the quality of both their pizza and gelato. Highly recommended.

Excellent pizza! As a European and from Nice, France (near Italy) I am used to real Italian pizza, and this place brings the good! We ate two delicious pizzas, including one with my favorite topping (anchovies). The balance of flavors, toppings and the chewiness of the thin dough were perfect! Great prices as well, and very friendly service by the owners, who are Italian. My daughter had a gelato for dessert and she still raves about it.

Stopped in to get a cup of their delicious gelato. The Pizza looked and smelled great and the place was busy. The downside is they had only ONE person working the counter and he failed to recognize customers were waiting to order. He spent ten minutes talking on the telephone and then another five slicing pizzas. I nodded that I wanted service and he was having nothing to do with it. Other workers saw me waiting but apparently they don't work the counter and take orders. Even though the food looked appetizing and the gelato looked good, the place left a bad taste in my mouth for the lack of attention to the customer. I will not be returning but I will be searching for another ice cream place that gives good service.

We appreciate your feedback and we are grateful for the ongoing support from our customers, both local and visiting, since we opened our doors in June 2015.
Tuesday was a very hectic night and unfortunately, we had some staff shortages that were unexpected.
There were some instances when our son, who was by himself at the counter, had to handle not only the phone but also the delivery of pizza, gelato and drinks at the same time.
The quality of food and the service of our customers are our top priorities!
As we always say, if something is wrong, please accept our apologies but also hear our request for some patience and above all give us another chance to make it right and, trust me, we will !!
We understand that sometimes there is some waiting on the phone or some queue at the counter, our promise is to do everything we can to provide you with the best service and the best quality of food so that you can have a wonderful time at our place.
Again, when possible, please help us with a bit of patience.

I cannot recommend this pizza spot enough. The marinara is fresh and bright. Not sweet.
The crust is thin, crisp and very light, The toppings were all fresh. And the personal size is filling.
Finally, I have found a good pizza place in Florida. I will be back.

This is certainly one of the best pizza places I have ever eaten. The crust was perfect and the topping were fresh and delicious. The two of us ordered the large meat lovers and were both lucky to finish the last piece. The gelato was very good and a great little desert to cap off an excellent meal. The people are friendly and the service was great! We will be back before we head home to Texas.

We ordered Bruschetta, Pizza and Dessert via slice.com. Our order arrived after approx. 60 minutes and what should I say, it was one of the best food I ever ordered. The Bruschetta was super delicious, the Pizza (Speck and Brie) was outstanding and the dessert (Nutellino) was a dream in chocolate. I would highly recommend everyone who is around Fort Lauderdale to taste that outstanding kind of Italian food.
