Incredible food and incredible service. The atmosphere and service are like old school New York. Very professional and very attentive. Need a recommendation? The staff won’t hesitate steer you to a customer favorite or a super special special. And the proprietors, Joey and Sally are there to make sure your experience is second to none. We’ll go back every time we are in Lauderdale. Heck, we’ve been back twice this trip already.

We had octopus in garlic sauce and mussels in tomato sauce. Both were fantastic. The bread was also fresh and perfect for blending with the excellent sauces. Very good service, as well.

I just realized the review I wrote for a few months back I forgot to post. I just posted it and now we have been back, as of two nights ago. Again, amazing fish dishes, great sangria, white bean soup and the best tres leches cake I have ever had. I told my husband that this was tres leches for adults, not too sweet. And not soppy either. I wish I had the recipe. How about it, Joey? We will be back in April. Part of the reason one would want to patronize this place is because of Joey and also Kevin the bartender. We had him on that visit before. He said he was a teacher and worked here one night a week. Lots of regulars came in and he knew them by name…the same for Joey, lots of regulars.

First time here was Valentine’s night dinner. I’m an old guy and this was the first time I’ve ever arrived for ValDay dinner reservation and didn’t have to wait. Went here for the Paella and it was great, not quite as good as what I had in a little out of the way neighborhood in Barcelona, but a lot closer to home. The local police chief picked that place knowing the bill would be covered by my employer. Tres Leches became my wife’s favorite when we had it in Mazatlan 10 years ago. This is first we’ve found that was just as good. We’ll be back. Good wine list, too.

Freshest seafood in Fort Lauderdale. I had the grilled swordfish and my wife had the monk fish. Both were some of the best dishes we have ever had. Kevin the bartender is amazing and Joey the owner is larger than life. This is our go-to. The drinks, food and service are beyond compare.

We came with great expectations. We had dined her in the past and were happy that is why we returned. Their signature dish paella was bad- not enough saffron and not much flavor . Seafood was ok but chorizo tasted like cardboard. Gazpacho and wine was ok. Disappointed and we will not be back

This is the third time we have been here over probably a 15 year period. I can't remember how we found it the first time. The second time we went because I remembered the first. This current time of a couple of weeks ago was because Messi was playing close by in a soccer match....the temporary Inter Miami stadium. We were staying in Miami but drove up. After having had a wonderful vacation a few years ago in Barcelona, I search out Spanish (not Mexican) restaurants in the United States and there just aren't that many of them. Of course I read a bunch of reviews and thank goodness the place was still getting good reviews. We pulled into the parking lot and there was a man down the way sitting on the curb ranting, raving, shouting at the top of his lungs and waving his arms about. Needless to say we parked a good distance from that and entered the restaurant. The proprietor was on the phone with the police and they came promptly and two of the career waiters and the proprietor looked very concerned as the policemen tried to deal with this mentally ill person. From my seat I couldn't see the man; neither could my husband. We live in a big city and you just can't haul them off. They did talk to him. I can't remember if he was still down there when we left or not. He was a good distance from the door and it didn't deter anybody from coming in because the place was completely full when we left. We had an appetizer of assorted meats and cheeses and olives and some bread. I had remembered some rolls in the past that intrigued me, I swear they had a taste of nutmeg in them. This time it was a small loaf so that was a slight disappointment but it had a good crust and was soft inside. We both had fish entrees and they were excellent. We skipped dessert because we were desperate to finish the big pitcher of sangria! It was loaded with fruit. I remembered that from the last trip. We kind of floated out on a cloud. We had to keep our eyes on the clock because we had never driven the route from the restaurant to the stadium. As it turned out it got dark and we were herded into the wrong line of cars and almost were forced into wrong parking spots two times, a good distance from the stadium. I had paid through the nose for the lot closest to the stadium ($150) and we were being forced into a $50 spot in a lot way far from it. After watching until two different people wielding flashlights turned their backs, we whipped out and went on. Even then we never made it to the best lot and nobody spoke English when my husband tried to plead our case. Consequently we missed the first 13 minutes of the match but the score was still 0 to 0 and Messi didn't come in until the second half so that was ok I suppose. As for Cafe Seville we liked our young waiter and enjoyed chatting with the proprietor. This is a mom and pop type restaurant, lots of regulars came in, he knew them all, they knew him, and a good dose of seniors ate there. Very few tourists like us, I would say. It's a very small place but delicious! We'll be back!!!

A great spot to eat in Ft Lauderdale. Aldo was a fantastic waiter, his recommendations were perfect with regards to the food and the size of the portions. We had the lobster bisque, octopus Santa Fé, gambas al ajillos, scargots and finished with the tres leches dessert. Ambience was great, food came promptly and delicious and the conversation with Aldo was really nice. Will definitely include it in the Fort Lauderdale routine

Have tried many times to get into this restaurant without a reservation. Success at last because it's "off Season" and we went early. Will make a reservation henceforth. Our server Mario was excellent. Knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. There's a menu board on wheels that's rolled over to your table featuring a large selection of daily specials. Seafood, tapas, meat dishes and Spanish delicacies are dominant. Portions are more than adequate. A "for sure" go-back-to dining experience. Oh, and tere's a full bar!

This is an excellent Spanish restaurant. All of the food here is well prepared. For appetizers the butifarra a la parrilla, Gambas as ajillo and calamaris rellenos are really good. For entrees the grouper Santa Fe, polo a la sevillana, paella marinera or filet Seville are outstanding. Service is excellent. Cafe Seville has a refined upscale ambiance.

The food and service was outstanding. We (4 women) found this place since it is in the same strip mall as Labare, ( we were having girls night out). Our server had a great personality and was very attentive. The manager was also attentive and checked on us. I had a Caesar salad which was excellent snd shared the bronzino dinner with a friend. The fish was one of the best I have ever had. Cooked perfectly and definitely enough for two to share. I look forward to returning to Cafe Seville on my next trip to Ft. Lauderdale

Great concept but after the first flamingo dancing set it got boring… a second set was too much would have been better to just listen to the guitarist play. The belly dancer was outstanding. The paella was dry, half of the mussels and clams were closed. Not very good The place needs dusting. There was so much dust hanging from the ceiling that it was disgusting. And very expensive, 4 people with 2 cosmos and 4 sangrias was almost $700.00 which included the 20% gratuity that was automatically added.
