The staff here is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and prices are very reasonable for both food and wine. We went twice during our stay in March and were very pleased each time. If you enjoy good Indian food, this place is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed.

This restaurant was my first experience with Indian food. Everybody was so inviting and happy to help me. When I couldn't read the menu they explained to me what the items on the menu were and what it would taste like. Everything I've tried I've absolutely loved! One of the owners, himself recommended the butter chicken and it is what I get every single time I'm there with the order of garlic naan!

I'm back again. Masala Mantra on Hilton Head Island is a culinary escape to India. From the first bite of their flavorful curries to the last sip of chai, every detail speaks of authenticity. My server Mr. Ansari and all the outstanding team provide impeccable service, making every visit to enjoyable.
It's more than a meal.. it's an experience!
And of course, as always, I didn't forget to grab my default to-go order to enjoy at home after every visit!

When it comes to relishing authentic, delicious Indian cuisine, my family and I waste no time in deciding - it’s got to be Masala Mantra, as we’ve tried the few existing Indian restaurants in the vicinity and Masala Mantra is by far our favorite Indian restaurant, that offers a fairly wide spread of genuine Indian food at reasonable prices. As a matter of fact, we do not hesitate to drive a good 45 minutes or more all the way from Naples, just to savor and enjoy some opulent Indian food. We visit Masala Mantra quite often, our most recent visit being last Friday, on June 4, 2021.
From the time we walk through the door, we’re always assured of top notch service with personal attention. The staff are absolutely courteous and polite with all guests that dine at their restaurant.
All food served, whether appetizers, entrees or desserts are carefully prepared to the perfect expectations of guests. The food served is flavorful, and based on guests’ palates, dishes are prepared accordingly with meticulous care in either piquant, moderate or very low spice levels. If I were to name a few of our favorites dishes from appetizers to desserts, they would be Golden Fried Baby Corn Manchurian, Shrimp Masala Fry, Masala Mantra Special Grill, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh, Grilled Salmon, Tandori Pompano, Garlic Naan, Bullet Naan, Keema Naan, Lamb Biriyani (with succulent pieces of meat), Fish Molly, Mango Cheesecake, Lava Cake, etc. The restaurant does offer a limited selection of alcoholic beverages, for those guests who need to work up an appetite before their meal.
The restaurant hosts special dining menus during certain events like Valentines Day, Easter, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc. Weekend Lunch Buffet with quite a good spread has resumed since Saturday, June 5, 2021.
The restaurant does also offer take out and food delivery within a limited area of Cape Coral.
Masala Mantra is pretty popular among the community and has been able to retain loyal customers, who make it a point to come back time and again to enjoy good Indian food at it’s best.
I’d certainly recommend Masala Mantra to guests that aspire to relish good Indian food.

Wonderful Indian food. We ordered the butter chicken and tiki chicken tikka masala with rice and bread. Everything was great. The flavors we’re fantastic. I’m going back today!

I love this place. I come here weekly for the great food ... and also the friendly service. The owner makes you feel right at home and food has always been top notch, regardless of what I’ve ordered. That says a lot, as by this point in time I’ve ordered pretty much the entire menu several times over. Definitely try this place.

I am a Indian food connoisseur and this is by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to in South Florida. The restaurant is small and cozy, which allows you to truly relax with your family/friends while enjoying a delicious meal. The place was impeccably clean and the entire environment was calming with a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. My boyfriend and I loved our food! I HIGHLY recommend the chicken tikka masala, naan, and mali kabob. Towards the end of the meal, the owner came up to check how everything was and he was very attentive to feedback and very kind. I would truly recommend this place for families, friends, and couples. This place deserves a 7 out of 5!! We will definitely be back!

I’ve driven over fifteen miles at least ten times since discovering Masala Mantra in December. Fabulous food, service, Covid protocol, and value doesn’t waiver. The dishes I enjoy are vindaloo, khadai, saag, vegetable curry, as my basic go to list plus numerous others. Onion and garlic naans are favorites and their chutneys are great. Service is fantastic every time with owners oversight and caring always evident. From my perspective, no flaws in the experience and their following grows for good reason.
Best value is lunch hours where dinner portions are at reduced prices. Consistently excellent. I’ve enjoyed Indian cuisine in over fifty restaurants around the country an Masala Mantra holds its own with the best. Discover for yourself. Always open and no shut down times which is very friendly.

Masala Mantra is by far the best Indian food I have experienced in the USA. You would have to go to the UK or India for anything similar in quality and taste. The only thing I miss is the full compliment of chutneys(diced spiced onions, mango chutney, etc.) that would normally come to the table with a basket of Poppadoms typically served outside of the country. If in Mumbai, The Melting Pot on Juhu Road is still number 1, but a 16 hour flight might be a bit much to travel for a great dinner. So, the next best thing is Masala Mantra right here in the Cape! Take out is also awesome during Covid restrictions. Absolutely serious Indian food.

Read some other reviews and decided to try it out. This will be our go-to Indian restaurant in Cape Coral. I had Tiki Marsala and my wife had butter chicken, both dishes were outstanding. We opted for some cheese naan as an appitizer and that was cooked to perfection as well. Outstanding service, great food and good prices, who could ask more from a local restaurant?

Ordered combo meat platter consisting of lamb, shrimp, and chicken adding native garlic bread with white rice. Server brought traditional sauce for dipping. Very authentic and tasty. We split the platter and had more than enough for two. We will go back.

Malai Kofta is not an easy dish to make and you rarely see it on a menu at a typical Indian restaurant however Masala Mantra offers it and it's out of this world! In my dinner entree, there were three dumplings and I could have eaten more and the sauce? Oh the sauce! The people who make these recipes must be from Southern India because their sauces are over the top delicious and there is plenty of it to soak up your rice or clean the plate and bowl with garlic naan.
If you are a big eater, you will need a side dish to go with the Kofta. My husband ordered the Dal and the Aloo Gobi Masala, which this dish was not the traditional one of other Indian restaurants I've been to ... and I've been to many. From the Dutch side of St. Maarten to New York and even Ocala Florida, I've tasted many interpretations of Indian food. Most adjust their spices to the American palate and that for me, waters down the experience. My mom had the Vegetable Korma.
Heat wise, we said medium. On a scale from 1-10, a 5. They were pretty spot on with the heat but as always, let your food cool down a bit and it reduces the impact on the palate.
We both came home with leftovers which we repurposed with some fresh veggies and had a delightful lunch the next day. This place is worth the drive.

We were here for the first time today. Very friendly service and great Indian food. Tikka Masala with chicken, lamb or prawns is highly recommended. The Tandori Chicken is also extremely tasty. The Naan Bort is also really great. My favorite here is the Kashmiri.

Called and they said I did not need a reservation. Got there and had about a ten-minute wait. The waiter was nearly frantic in serving us and seemed overwhelmed by what appeared to be a large crowd. The food was good to very good but not the best Indian food I have had. By the reviews, I thought that it was going to knock my socks off!
