Angelina's is located in North Tamiami (Rt 41), just south of the Coconut Point Mall. The restaurant offers a high end experience starting with valet parking and ending with an after dinner aperitif. The space is divided into six different dining areas, each with a different vibe, all offering interesting seating arrangements, some of which were very private feeling. The staff, which includes a sommelier, were uniformly gracious, friendly and well knowledgeable on their subject matter. They were also very passionate about the food. The food, from our experience, was good but not what we expected. The baked cheese and eggs came out extremely hot causing burns to the roof of the mouth which mildly impacted enjoying the rest of the meal. It was tasty but the bread was a little too crusty and came apart when the cheese eggs and sauce were added on. For entrees, we decided to try a number of 1/2 order pasta dishes and a seafood dish. The ability to order half portions is a nice feature and the portions just the right size. The butternut squash was on the sweet side, which I prefer. The Cacio e Pepe was just okay. We added real shaved truffles for a significant upcharge but still were left underwhelmed and ended up salting a bit. The veal pasta was in a heavy sauce which overwhelmed the pasta. Good flavors but, either to strong or not strong enough. The scallop entree was well prepared and the pork belly added a nice saltiness to the dish. We were too full for dessert, so can't comment on that. There is a full bar and a large wine list. Online reservations are also available. A good place to go for a special event to be surrounded by all the pomp and circumstance of fine dining, a little more than the food itself.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you did not like the crusty texture of the bread and that the baked cheese and egg was too hot. I have to agree with you about the butternut squash ravioli, it's a favorite of many of our guests. We would hope that you will visit us once again and that we will meet or exceed your expectations.

Lovely evening with 3 couples. However we were in a room off to the right with no view and it was crowded and loud. The scallops and pork belly were awesome. The veal chop was good but not great for the high price. The chef is accommodating and allowed us to mix and match most sides if they are on the menu for any entrée.

We celebrated a birthday and two wedding anniversaries last night at one of the best restaurants in SW Florida. Angelina's staff, and especially our server Anthony, made it an unforgettable evening for all of us. The osso bucco, pasta with bolognese, and butternut squash ravioli were all delicious. Topping off the night were the great doughnuts with sauces and mini cannoli all presented on decorated plates with glasses of Limoncello. Thank you Angelina's for making our night so wonderful! We will be returning as soon as possible.

Happy Anniversary and thank you very much for taking the time to share what you liked about your visit to us. It is great to know that you will return. Thank you also for mentioning Anthony by name. Our servers work very hard to provide our guests with a wonderful experience and it is nice for them and for us to see them acknowledged. We look forward to your speedy return,

We had only been here once a few years ago. Living on Captiva, we are tired of all the island restaurants, so for my wife's birthday, she wanted to go to Angelina's just to do something different, even though it's a long drive. Our friends had never been. What an outstanding evening. The valet attendant was our first welcome, and gladly took pictures of our party. The building is beautiful and so unusual. The manager, Steve, promptly seated us at the half-circle booth which we had requested. Our waitperson, Faith, greeted us right away, began by explaining so many things. And then we got to the eating part! The entire evening, each of us kept exclaiming "This is the best..... I've ever had." My Caesar salad was crisp, another got the burrata with fresh dates, and her husband had the mushroom risotto. For the entrees, the birthday girl ordered the halibut, which was presented so beautifully and tasted wonderful. I had scallops with pork belly (which I had never had), and it was wonderful. The other couple loved their orders, as well. Faith and Steve checked on us frequently. And then came dessert! My wife was given a special cannoli on a decorated plate. I had a dark chocolate dessert that I can't begin to describe, you just have to try it! At the end of the dinner, they served complimentary cordials, which was a nice touch. We all agreed that Angelina's is the finest restaurants any of us have been to in all of SWFL. We'll gladly make the long drive again!

We finally tried Angelina’s mid-week on a Tuesday. We had an early reservation which was all that was available. We arrived and asked for outdoor seating we were very rudely told that outdoor seating is booked months in advance and that it would not be available to us. We were brought to a dated room with no windows that looked like my 100 year old granny’s house. What was disappointing was the restaurant was empty we were the only people in the room and or the booths until about 630 (our reservation was 545) I checked the courtyard on arrival and when we left and there were open tables. If the service was good or the food we would have easily overlooked above. We poured our own water/wine and saw the food runner much more that our server. The food was not good the truffle pasta was the worst I have ever had with way too much olive oil. My husband had pasta soaked in balsamic which dulled all taste our entrees were just ok. Osso Bucco was just ok but on top watery mashed potato. I did enjoy the veal (hence the 2) but it was a bit dry needing more of the brown mushroom sauce. We live in Naples so this is a drive that was clearly not worth it. Any Italian restaurant on 5th or 3rd is by far superior in ambience, service and food quality. We will not return.

We take every negative review very seriously, and I apologize that we did not meet your expectations. You mentioned you would not return, but please know if you ever change your mind, we would have been more than happy to replace your pasta with a new dish with less olive oil. The same is true for your husband's dish. We make every dish from scratch, any adjustments could have been made immediately to your liking. We try to have our guests leave happier than when they came in I am sorry this was not the case with your visit.

From the second you pull into Angelina’s driveway you’ll know this is not going to be a typical restaurant. Once inside, the decor and warmth take over your senses until yours eyes focus in to the many art displays and the glass tower large wine selections Since our last visit in 2019 the menu has been altered and improved, wine selections out of sight, staff is professional and warm, Keri continues to exhibit his talents and big smile at the piano bar. Reservations highly recommend.

Angelina's is a top notch restaurant under normal circumstances, but during this most serious and stressful time, they continue to meet if not exceed their notable reputation. As restaurants either closed or are reduced to curbside delivery, Angelina's is offering a wonderful special menu for just that purpose. Simply, we called and placed a phone order and arrived to the front entrance where we were greeted by 2 staffers (gloved) with our family dinner/wine. FYI, we ordered the Family Style Veal Parmigiana/Spaghetti that comes with a bag of mouth watering zeppoli. Additionally, they furnished a candle so we could enjoy our dinner by candlelight - a sweet touch! Go to their website and view the generous menu!

Last night my wife and I invited our dear friends to Angelina’s Ristorante for their first time. We were celebrating his birthday. We were greeted by Chad the valet, whom had not seen us in many months, yet remembered my wife and I by name. That gentleman is impressive and very friendly. The reservation was handled directly by the Manager, Steve Ruggieri and Hannah and they made sure. we had a fantastic table next to the beautiful wine tower. The service provided by Antonio and their staff was second to none! They were helpful, attentive and beyond friendly and kind. Our friends were impressed even before the food had arrived. We all enjoyed the Summer Prix Fixe Menu and we’re happy we did. The Osso Bucco, Halibut and Fra Diavolo were all incredible. We loved the tasty Lemontini’s and Melissa even came from the bar to our table to make sure they were made to our satisfaction. Who does that? Angelina’s does that’s who....they are hands down the finest restaurant in all of Bonita Springs and Southwest Florida. If you’ve never been there, we highly recommend them. Listen to amazing piano music and let their staff do what they do best!! Thank you to Steve, Antonio, Melissa and the entire staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I recently treated ourselves to dinner at this upscale Italian restaurant. The prices are somewhat high but everything we ate, from salads to entrees to wine to bread, was delicious. The restaurant has a lot of ambience and very good service.

We kept trying to get into this place for weeks but it was always booked up. We finally got in last week on a whim and OMG were we so happy. We were seated in the quaint little garden room. Our server was so great and kind and down to earth (unlike some the other servers who are a bit stuffy). The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the beef tar tar, so amazing that my wife tried to recreate it the next day. for my main course I had the veal chop and she had a pasta dish of some sort, Pappardelle 'Capri' I think it was. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we ordered a second bottle of wine, which we rarely do, but thats how much fun we were having. For dessert she had the ngelina's Signature Zeppolis, (again she looked for something similar at the store so we could have it again) and I had the "OMG I love chocolate (a thick chocolate cake). Such a great place and while our garden room was perfect for our romantic evening, the bar area was very lively. WE will be back, especially since we live only a couple of miles away.

We love rhe atmosphere, the food, the service! Had reserved a curtained booth and upon arrival learned that earlier diners werent inclined to leave. After a fifteen minute wait, we were seated in a lovely booth and the manager offered a free antipasta platter. We had just enjoyed one at home, so thanked him and kiddingly said he could comp us our first bottle of wine. He actually gave us our wine at 50% off. Very nice!! The sommelier recommended a bottle we enjoyed. She is a bonus as well- friendly and knowledgeable. All our meals were delicious. The four of us highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation! They are very popular.

My wife and I had a very special anniversary dinner here. Steve, I think he was the manager, reserved a half circle booth across from the wine tower and seated us personally when we arrived. Denise our server was absolutely fabulous throughout our visit. There are plenty of reviews here that talk about the food so I will just summarize. The pasta dishes are available in two sizes so don't be shy about trying a few. We had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Veal Agnolotti. Both were excellent with nice presentations. The Pork Osso Buco was some of the best I had had to date. The natural reduction was impressive. Their wine list is robust and we enjoyed a vintage bottle of champagne. We enjoy champagne because it pairs so well with almost everything. Post entrees I sampled the Nonino Grappa(Dan the bartender's pick). Grappa is an acquired taste and this one was a bit easier on the way down while still moderately priced. We were surprised with the special complimentary desert that topped off a great dining experience. We look for a total experience in our fine dining exploits. Angelina's exceeded our expectations. Meraviglioso

First, the service here was impeccable! And, the atmosphere is also beautiful. While we wanted to love the place, the food was disappointing. Three of my kids got a pappardelle pasta dish which they all complained about being "too lemony". I tasted it and it was not horrible but was definitely overpowered with a citrus flavor. I got mushroom risotto and could not even eat it, it was not prepared well. I know risotto can be a difficult dish to prepare and is suppose to be al dente but this was not al dente, it was hard and very crunchy. My husband got Ossobuco and it was pretty good. The two kids who got the margarita pizza said it was fantastic and ate the whole thing. Dessert was really good, especially the zeppole. Again, we wanted to like the food but was just disappointing, especially considering the prices. It is a pricey place, our dinner for 7 (3 adults and 4 teenagers) was over $360 with tip. For that price, I expect to be wowed and just was not at all.

We take every review seriously and we are sorry that you did not enjoy your time with us. Your server would have been more than happy to replace any meal that was not to your satisfaction. The pappardelle Capri is finished with a Sorrento lemon olive oil and we would have replaced the dish without the finishing oil so your children would have enjoyed the meal. If you decide to return please know we are there to make you happy and for you and your family to have a wonderful experience. I am so sorry we did not meet your expectations but would welcome a second chance.

Well, there are very few restaurants that we’ve dined at, that I take the time to write a review after every meal we enjoy there. We are in awe at the well trained staff! They are highly knowledgeable about ingredients and food preparation, wines and cocktails and are very good at recommending something to a guest that’s undecided! We spent Valentine’s there and invited four of our dear friends. They were wowed by the service, food preparation and quality of the food! We had Filet Mignon, Veal Marsala, Snapper Picata and all were exceptional! I’d like to give a special kudos to some very special people; Steve Ruggieri is “synonymous” with exceptional guest services. He never says “no” instead saying “let me see what I can do and I’ll get right back to you.” He has never let us down. Katie assisted us and was hands down one of the most bubbly, enthusiastic, well trained and most fun people that has ever waited on us. It truly made for a great Valentine’s memory. Thank you again!! Enjoyed an excellent meal here. The ambiance here is top shelf with a piano playing in the background as well. Throw in some great food and nice wine and it was a fantastic dining experience. Service was attentive and the pace of the meal was exactly what we wanted. Wedge salad was quite large and the Pork Osso Bucco was delicious. The wife enjoyed the Veal Marsala and it got very high marks for flavor.
