We were on Christmas Vacation and the teenagers wanted Hibachi so I looked up Japanese steakhouses near me and restaurant came up and had the best ratings out of 3 listed. It seemed very nice and clean. The chef was entertaining and personable. The prices were a tad high when you had the somewhat high price of the hibachi meal/meat and then you were charged an additional $3 to get fried rice rather than plain white rice. It made a chicken hibachi meal a little pricier than most but you also had to consider it was in Boca. The restaurant is nice and in a nice area so that was a huge plus. We would go again. All the meat and food seemed very fresh. Dropping the $3 for fried rice would help a lot.

Was not expecting the inside of this place to be so large! They have hibachi grills up front, tables and booths in the back, a large bar that can open to the outside and a out door seating area too.
We were seated in one of the booths in the back of the restaurant. Service was great. They have draft and bottled beer. Draft beer comes in 22oz glasses. Ordered off the lunch menu, at first the portions looked small but they are very filling.
Had pork gyoza, steamed, they were ok but nothing that you can not find any place else. For my entree had the chicken fried rice, again was good but nothing that special. Will be back though because there are some other items on the menu that I want to try out.
One thing I did notice was that layer of dust on the lights about the table, not sure in a place that otherwise looks well kept these aren’t dusted.

We spent New Year's Eve here, I'm glad there wasn't a special prix fixe menu, we selected options from the kitchen, sushi bar and hibachi station.
Huge attractive restaurant with many hibachi tables, a large sushi bar, full bar area and outdoor tables in a strip mall. The large restaurant was bright and cheerful, it would be a nice location for groups. They have a very nice extensive menu, there was a lot to choose from. Service was friendly & attentive. There was plenty of parking. With Covid we were able to sit in a quiet comfortable booth off to the side.
There was an extensive drink menu. I had a glass a sake, it was okay. My husband & friend tried signature cocktails. The lychee martini was beautifully served and my husband enjoyed his pineapple drink with ginger beer.
Our friends enjoyed their hibachi dinners with soup, salad, fried rice, veggies & proteins, potions were so large that they brought a meal home. Their dinner had large shrimp, pieces of steak and chicken. We shared a half a Peking duck & the tri color sushi platter. The duck came with hoisin sauce, 5 Mandarian pancakes, shredded carrots and scallions. The duck was lean, the skin was crisp and the meat was juicy. Our plate came with 5 tuna, 5 salmon and 5 yellow fin pieces of sushi with ginger and wasabi. Everything was fresh & delicious.

In its two years of operation, Saiko-i has become the best combination sushi, hibachi, and bar restaurant in the Boca Raton area. Since it first opened, my wife and I have become regular patrons. We ordered the edamame, the seafood salad, and shared sashimi and sushi. Really good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices (for Japanese food). Parking is available, although the parking lot can be crowded.

I’ve been here several times and usually the experience was recently good. We came here for my daughter’s birthday. And from the beginning I realized that they were going to be adding on the gratuity. The waitress was horrible and acted like she did not wanna be there. All she cared about was adding on the little extras. It took 15 minutes to get drinks. I had to ask four times to get chopsticks. And normally when you go to hibachi restaurant the chef puts on a bit of a show. They did the absolute minimum. At no time did they ever come to refill drinks. The “Fried “ rice had a little egg and Nothing else. Even at the end the night after a mediocre dinner and poor service it took 15 minutes to get the check. I was 100% sure that they were adding on their gratuity because they clearly couldn’t care less. I was 100% correct because clearly they didn’t gratuity. I’m not going back. BEWARE

Food was good and a tad bit entertaining..But I did not like that they added a 20% gratuity that if you did not check it close you could easily add the recommended % gratuity that’s right above where you sign… on top of that. It’s a surcharge or price increase or fee if a restaurant just automatically adds on a tip. I don’t think highly of any place that does this. I pointed it out to the manager but only got a “yes we did” in essence response. That’s enough to keep me away ..$265 bill. I’m in town 10 days every 3 months and our family goes out to eat a few times. Next time I’ll go a few doors down to Nonna’s.

I am so surprised this place had so many good reviews. The atmosphere was great. We sat on the outside terrace. The food on the other hand was very mediocre. I had the Tom yum seafood soup was very good. I also ordered the lobster bomb sushi roll. The fried lobster pieces had no flavor. The sushi pieces also had no flavor. Very bland. We also ordered the volcano fried rice which was good. But the volcano rice is supposed to be served with fire on the dish but the restaurant didn’t have the fire available. The happy hour drinks were also watered down. For the price, this place place is not worth it. I will not be back. It’s a shame because it’s a nice restaurant.

Combining both Sushi bar and Hibachi, Saiko-i offers what Americans consider both of the two most popular Japanese approaches to their cuisine. They do both really well, as no one else in Boca does.
We enjoy eating outside behind the bar. Saiko-I has made the most of the pandemic, expanding their al fresco capacity.
We started with edamame accompanying our hot sake. We ordered eel in addition to the sushi and sashimi combination, 5 different fish sushi, 8 pieces of sushi roll, and 12 pieces of sashimi.
Carolyn was our delightful server. Friendly and efficient, Carolyn enhanced our meal with her personality. Parking is convenient and the bill is not expensive for Japanese food. Really good place, and keeps getting better over the years.

If you are looking for a Asian fusion restaurant, this is the spot. There is sushi and hibachi options for everyone. The hostess were so kind and helpful. My server was so sweet and checked up on us constantly to make sure we were satisfied. The food was amazing too. I would definitely come back and bring all my friends.

Since we are following social distancing guidelines carefully, we have found that the perfect time to dine is mid-afternoon.
Saiko has become a real favorite if ours. Emm is a particularly wonderful waitress. Even through her mask, her beautiful smile and warmth shine through.

This is the first time I can remember not leaving a tip for wait staff. We decided to try some sushi while in Florida on vacation. The sushi was amazing, but the service was the worst I have ever had. I told the waitress not to forget about us when our drink glasses were empty the first time. She forgot about us. It took 20 minutes for her to come back with our drinks and to take our order after that. She forgot one of our sushi orders. We went to the bar 3 times to get drinks. You would think the bartender would get involved to fix the issue as he brought the drinks to our table all 3 times. We waited for the waitress to come by our table for at least 20 minutes to ask for our check, even though she stopped by the table next to us 4 times and would not look over at us. Finally another waitress asked us if everything was okay. We told her we were trying to get our check and our waitress forgot about us. She was very apologetic. This other waitress brought the check and took my credit card. Our waitress brought the credit card receipt back and thanked us. Roughly $200 tab and no tip. She told me the tip was not included. Unfortunately she brought this up and got a detailed explanation of how she forgot about us. Service like this in not acceptable, especially in a nice restaurant.

Came here with our neighbors/friends for a hibachi dinner before a show. The venue is so pretty. There were many hibachi tables. We were very comfortably seated at a table for 8. The hibachi menu offered soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, a protein of either shrimp, chicken, salmon, sea bass, scallops, filet Mignon, steak or various combinations of any of the above. We first had drinks. Paul had his favorite old fashioned but this time no bourbon; he had Hitachi Scotch which he enjoyed. I had the hot saki. One couple ordered Sushi instead of hibachi which was okay. The menu did have many options. Javier was our chef who prepared our delicious meal including all his food tricks. Very entertaining! Portions were generous and FYI,
they do not make any substitutions for the shrimp appetizer. This was a solid 4 star review and a wonderful place to visit.

Poor management, unsmiling staff and terrible food. What a disappointment. The management stands around doing nothing, while the staff forgets the soup and salad. When you remind them only half the salads are brought out. the Hibachi "show" is the worst I have ever seen. The quality of the steak is not good at all. Overall and expensive disappointment. A total waste of time and money.

I visit your venue frequently since I live in the area. I have always had great food and service until last Friday for Happy Hour. I met my boss and coworker for Happy Hour and Hans was our bartender. We all ordered some apps and I wanted to order a roll. When I finally got Hans attention to order he told me the roll was no longer available on Happy Hour since it was 6:10 p.m. With that being said I said that's fine I would like to place my order. After 30 minutes went by and everyone around me were getting their food, I finally got Hans attention and asked where my food was. He rudely commented to me "You never placed the order". Well, that was not true and he was very rude about it. Without trying to make a scene since I was with my boss and coworker I asked to please place the order. I had then walked my coworker to her car, leaving my boss at the bar since I was going to return to finish my food and cocktail. When I returned my boss told me Hans him "Your friend is Very Rude". How dare him, I was not rude at all....he had no right saying that, especially to my boss, and believe he needs to go to Anger Managment 101 course. He obviously does not know how to handle himself in the restaurant business. I have been a bartender for years and no way would I of handled the situation like Hans did. Very disappointed :-(

Great night out. Went for twins 12th Birthday celebration and they were fantastic.
The Hibachi chef was excellent and cooked us a great meal. These were 10 of us and he made sure we had plenty to eat and all cooked to perfection
