I dined at Coffee Break for brunch today. The food is delicious along with the cuckoo clocks. I will return to Coffee Break soon I hope.

Good Fresh Fruit Fast Friendly Service Reminds a person of an old fashioned diner of years ago where everybody knows everybody.
TripAdvisor needs to upgrade their listings, we almost walked(3/4 mile) from our hotel to get breakfast, luckily we were lazy and drove and it was gone. This is the second time this has happened.
Wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Be there at the top of the hour when all the assorted clocks go off. Fun for all ages.
What a cute place with flamingos and cuckoo clocks as décor. It's seat yourself whether you come in the front door or back door. Lots of parking in the back but they also have street parking. Laura was our server. She was pleasant. She quickly...got our coffees and took our order. I thought the prices were a little high for only a two egg omelette and to be honest I have never really heard of just two eggs to make an omelette. I chose to try something different and got a Monte Cristo which I thought was terrific. The pickle on the side was a let down, rubbery. The fries were great and my friend enjoyed the pancakes. Not a bad stop on a rainy day. Two pancakes, 2 coffees and a Monte Cristo total $24.64. Not a bad deal.More
From their scrambled eggs and great variety of omelets to their pancakes and French toast, Coffee Break serves the best breakfast ever. Service is quick and friendly, and the menu has such varied choices, there's something for everyone. This is a classic breakfast place, cozier...than a diner with still a nice small town feel.More
...to go to for a quick, well made, home-style breakfast when you're on the road...or even if you live locally (like we used to). A step back in time when you walk in the door. Comfortable, cozy, no frills atmosphere. Sit at a table or...at the counter. Coffee is non-stop. Food is basic, but well prepared and served by friendly staff. Always one of our stops when in the area.More
Headed back to school before the snow hits Need to get something to eat TA showed close to highway but not too close. Lots of choices on breakfast menu. Almost missed the Bob's Breakfast. In fact had put my order and called waitress back to...change order. No problem Eggs over medium made perfectly whites cooked but not browned, yolks runny but not too much and not too hard Crispy bacon perfect Two good sized pieces of french toast Friendly staff Good service So now that i know where it is...as Arnold said "I'll be bach" The hamburgers looked good so maybe lunch next time p.s. or is it p.r. (post review) my daughter picked up the tab And i took some of the overly large order of homefries home in a to go boxMore
Just a friendly place to have breakfast! Sort of old fashion and the eggs are cooked perfectly! Ask for Kathy!
We were in Clinton for one night and asked at the motel where to have breakfast. She said go to the Coffee Break. Well she was so right, it was quite busy as it was Sunday morn so we sat at the counter. The waitress...was so nice and helpful, i wish we got her name. We enjoyed our breakfast, everything was done just right.More
Never had a bad breakfast or lunch here. The place is clean, rather retro looking and the staff most helpful. If you want to split a meal they do it without charge and bring the meal on separate plates for you. Prices are reasonable. We...eat there often, if you like a good breakfast place , make sure you try this one out.More
First time here. Maybe last time here as there are other places that put out much better food. I ordered 2 eggs scrambled with sausage with home fries. Home fries were dry .. very little flavor .... eggs must have been small eggs as the...serving size was tiny. service was very good. That's about it !! Nothing special here as far as I'm concerned.More
Quintessential New England breakfast spot. Every town needs a local spot for affordable breakfast just like the Coffee Break. All the menu items you would expect and a few more. I had eggs and coffee, hit the spot and fueled me for the day.
We went to visit our family in the US and visited Clinton for a few days. They told us they were taking us to the Coffee Break as it was different, so we went and they were right. We loved it and went 3 times...while staying in Clinton. It's a fun, quirky place that does great breakfasts/ brunch, with walls covered in cuckoo clocks and mobiles hanging around the place. Our 10 month old grandson loved them. The staff were super friendly spending time to chat with you. Great breakfast menu with a lot of variety, some set meals but you could really get whatever you fancied. It was family friendly, the older children given colouring sheets and things to do. We went during the World Cup so asked if we could watch the England game at the cafe and they were very happy to oblige. Great value for money, lovely atmosphere. It's a shame we don't have somewhere like this at home. If you happen to be in the Clinton area, try it out.More
We've missed this place since moving out of the area. Great place for starting your day. The menu is typical small-town diner fare, served with a flair and cooked to perfection. Our server, Nancy, was full over good energy and kept the coffee coming. Glad...we had the chance to experience this wonderful place again.More
