We go here when we want real Pho. The Ban Mi ar e also very good. Original Beef Pho is the best in the area, chicken or fish pho are good alternatives. The place is small with almost no atmosphere but it is clean. It is family run and they really carea bout what they do

Ate a delicious meal with great service today!
Started with shrimp spring rolls. The peanut sauce was delicious.
Ordered Thai Tea and Taro boba drinks. They were so good that we finished these two flavors and then ordered a simple honeymilk flavor to take home.
The main course was Banh Mi. Although the did not have shrimp on the Banh Mi menu, the nice young man who was our waiter made sure to ask if we could get a shrimp Banh Mi. It was delicious.
I will definitely be going back!

Popped off 95 for a bite to eat (or slurp) had some great soup and noodles at very fair prices. And they were open pretty early (10:40 or so) also they had bubble tea (that was just ok) but everything else was amazing

We felt a little adventurous as the place could be described as a hole in the wall - all in a good sense. It's a small place and were able to be seated right away. In about 20 minutes time though that wasn't the case. Our server was helpful in making recommendations and we enjoyed every bite. Looking forward to a return trip .

This is an outstanding Vietnamese restaurant in an offbeat location. I had the pho with shrimp and cuttlefish and my wife had pho with chicken. The broth was amazing and everything was fresh. The service was also great. The decor is minima, but that's fine. The entire meal ran under $25. Overall, I most highly recommend Pho Hong Thom.

I have eaten here three times during the last six months--I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The service is nothing to write home about, and the decor could use some updating, but the food (particularly the pho broth) is AMAZING.
Although I cannot speak to the reviewers who compare this shop negatively to Vietnam, I can tell all readers that this restaurant's pho outshines the multiple similar spots that I have visited in Seattle and Portland (OR).

Don't know the area, first time around. Greeted and seated quickly, soon after they took the order. The place is small but the food is authentic. I've been to Vietnam and this is as close as authentic you can get. The broth is amazing. The place to stop and enjoy a good home cook meal.

We love Vietnamese food and have traveled to Vietnam. The neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired but the food in this little hole in the wall place was very delicious and authentic. I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys the cuisine.

We came here hoping for some really great Vietnamese food and left feeling a little disappointed.
We used to live in Vietnam and fell in love with the subtle flavoured cuisine of the country. What we go here was OK, but not what we expected based on what other people said about it.
We had the banh cuon Tay Ho, which were very disappointing rolls filled with cloud ear mushrooms and not much else. We also ate the bun thit nuong. It was not so great. The beef was overcooked and over-seasoned. There was a bed of raw veg, but mostly cucumber, not enough of the aromatic leaves. The nuoc cham was not as flavoursome as it should be and I needed a second batch.
The coffee was also not so good. I don't know which brand they used, but it had a strange taste and was too sweet. I used to drink Vietnamese coffee every day in the past, so it isn't that I don't like the style, it's just I didn't like theirs.
Having said all that, I am a slightly harsher critic than most and it wasn't terrible, just not what I had hoped for.

Good Vietnamese food at a reasonable price.
I've eaten here several times and compare with their competition across the street.
I would say this place has similar quality food. But nicer ambiance. Service is better and friendly.
My wife prefers the competition as they offer vegetarian options that Pho Hong does not.
Personally I like both places fairly equally. Prices are about the same.
Try them both !
