Food is affordable here, which isn't the case with most places in Telluride. Service was fast and good. We had burgers which were great. We're not big beer drinkers but the wine was good. We would return.
Great food!! Get there around 12 before all the people arrive from the morning hike.
The cheese ball apps were awesome. The fish and chips were great. Only local beer, so don’t go in looking for copra light or killer
Wasn’t as expected. Arrived in a group and seated upon opening. Courteous service but felt unimportant. Beer selections were good. Husband and I shared 2 of the 3 taco selections. He had sirloin choice but was just ground meat, flavorless. I had Mahi Mahi which...was just one small deep fried fish stick on the bottom of the taco. The topping on each were okay. Can’t speak for the others in our group but I believe they were not impressed either. Not worth the money we spent, overpriced.More
I was in a group of 8 roudy women, yesterday, and went here at lunchtime. They were super busy but got us in very quickly. The waitress was incredible, polite, funny with loads of initiative. The food was off the charts as were the drinks....Can't wait to go back!More
My boyfriend and I love visiting Telluride so when we heard such great reviews of Smugglers we wanted to try it out. We sat at the bar which was fine with us being very busy, the woman working the bar was nice the food was...very good. My boyfriend paid the bill with his credit card and I tipped our waitress with cash. I would say our experience was very good until getting home to find out his credit card was charged $10.00 more than what our bill came to. Maybe I’m wrong but a restaurant shouldn’t be able to add a extra tip, I left what I thought was a very good tip. If I had any advice to someone visiting this establishment check your credit card statement compared to your bill after visiting you may be surprised out how much they tip themselves after you leave. We did try to call to talk to someone about this and they put me on hold for half hour and I never did talk to anyone.More
My family and I were seated quickly on a busy Friday evening. We had an outdoor table, which was great for people watching and soaking up the glorious Colorado weather. Our host was very accommodating, adjusting the umbrellas to keep the sun out of our...eyes and letting us choose where we wanted to sit. Our waiter was charming and professional. The food was mostly good. I ordered a chicken breast over risotto. The risotto wasn't even close to risotto - it was brown rice. The chicken was a bit dry, but overall not a terrible dish. The others in my party ordered burgers which were exceptionally good. The fries were good too. Overall - I would recommend.More
Very surprised to see all the negative reviews on poor service. We came here for lunch after exploring Telluride and riding the gondolas. We arrived right at 11:30 am when they opened. Very friendly staff and our server was outstanding.
Beautiful place with nice flowers...everywhere. We sat indoor as it was a bit breezy still outside. They make their own beers and root beer on site (both were excellent). One of the better root beer for sure.
For lunch we got the mahi mahi fish tacos, and the Thai chili ribs with kimchi. Both were amazing. The waiter said everything is made in house, not processed/packaged. We can taste the quality.
Terfible. Never go there. We arrived and were told 30 minutes on a waiting list. After 45 minutes I asked a staff person, who was not wearing a mask when we might be seated. Instead I received a scathing reply that 30 minutes was only...a guess, they have no hostest and a " You've got to be F#$%ing."
Highly recommend no one ever go to this establishment.More
