I couldn't tell what the assorted meats tasted like cause they were all (even the turkey) covered with BBQ sauce. WTH? I only put sauce on meat that needs a different flavor.

The brisket was very good. The cornbread with honey butter was amazing. Friendly staff. We ate here twice during our week long stay in Silverton

We stopped in simply because of a famous tv network and….wow!! We shared the chicken wings, which were some of the best we’ve ever had. Cool atmosphere in downtown Silverton. You are doing it right! Can’t wait to come back.

Thee Pitts Again is a BBQ restaurant that provided a decent pulled pork sandwich while I was on a Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad trip layover. Note several hundred people will pile out of these trains looking for a lunch before returning; and this...BBQ place is one of the first restaurants they'll wander past. I hustled to get to this restaurant before the crowds, and got meh sandwich before the line stretched out the door. The staff did a good job handling the crowd, but it helps to be prompt.More

We had a wonderful lunch at Thee Pitts Again in Silverton, Co. The restaurant was clean, inviting and smelled great! The food was the best BBQ I have ever had, tender, juicy and more than I could eat. If you go to Silverton, make sure...you go there and bring your appetite, you wont be disappointed! Mary H.More

Gag 🤮Most disgusting bbq I’ve ever tasted. We had the brisket & chicken. Do not recommend either. Potato salad looked like it was scraped from I don’t even know what-so nasty! Guy running cash register super rude! Save your money and don’t waste your time!

We saw this place as too recommended due to being shown in the triple d show. We tried guys favorite dish - the turkey tart or something like that. It was meh honestly. I tried the brisket and it looked like chopped up cat food;...very dry and flavorless too unfortunately. Maybe it was just an off day for them but it definitely wasn’t our families favorite. It was a cool restaurant inside and super busy!More

We stopped here for lunch from our train ride from Durango. My husband and I split an order and got an extra side. The food was tasty and plentiful. Corn bread was uninspiring and dry.

It’s good to make friends on a road trip. Someone insisted that I should go to Silverton and eat at Thee Pits Again. I love BBQ. What can I say. So while I was road-tripping in Ouray, I headed to Silverton and looked for a...pink structure in town. Yup, just like the dude told me. You can’t miss the place. It was late in the afternoon. They sold out of the brisket. I settled for the ribs. I can’t believe how much food they gave me for a little bite. And the food disappeared quickly. The ribs were falling off the bone. It’s juicy and tender. Their BBQ sauce was a hit. It was so worth the trip.More

Small place in an older historic building. The train let out so there was a line to the driveway or but it went fairly quickly. You order at a counter and get your own drinks. Someone brings your food to your table. Pulled pork was...pretty good. Wife’s chopped brisket was cut in cubes, not chopped. Cornbread was dry for my taste. BBQ beans was spiced up pork and beans. Onion rings are beer batter style and a small portion. They have a good selection on the menu. Service is quick. Prices are okay.More

Was dumped in Silverton by the train from Durango. Not sure where to eat, BBQ sounded good. The brisket was oven cooked, bland and the baked beans were dumped from a can. Can't believe this restaurant is still in business!!

We were visiting Silverton Colorado and looking for a place to eat and chose this place randomly because it was barbecue. We had pulled pork sandwiches and they were excellent, quite tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful. If you’re in Silverton looking for...some good barbecue I’d recommend this restaurant.More

This place smelled SO good! Plus, it never hurts that their AZ had been featured in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. For those two reasons we ended our off-roading early enough to make this a dinner stop. It's an order at the counter service set up....The menu (chalked high up on the wall) said "corn on the cob" but when we ordered we were told it was corn that had been cut off the cob. Given the location of the menu I could overlook it. Food - we ordered almost every type of meat. Sausage (meh), pulled pork (very dry and tough to chew), brisket - I've never in my life seen brisket served like this. It was sliced paper thin. In ribbons of meat so dry it fell apart in chunks. The corn was not cut from the cob. It was clearly dumped from a can. Kernels were greyish and swimming in canned veggie water. That was served next to a small plastic container of something resembling melted, oily margarine. Upon inquiry, we were told it was honey butter. If it was truly butter, it was so melted and separated, it wasn't identifiable. Our stuffed baked potato came with two pats of butter and a load of dry pulled pork. It was inedible because it was so dry and bland. The only thing we got that was absolutely delicious was the fried pickles. My guess is that it's the only thing they were required to actually make fresh. It's a gimmicky place that will leave your pocketbook empty and food that does not deliver.More
