Pumpkin spice latte is AMAZING! Not sweet as it’s made with pumpkin purée, not artificial flavoring. The salmon breakfast sandwich is tasty too, according to my hubby. A lovely coffee on a fall morning in the mountains beside the Blue River- never a bad way to start the day.

What a great spot! We popped in with friends on our way up to Frisco from Denver and so glad we did! The gluten free options didn't disappoint when it came to the food. Our gluten free bagels were scrumptious. Our drink orders were also exceptional. My chai latte was the perfect way to warm up on a snowy morning. If you're traveling up to the mountains, give this place a try and be sure to check out the back patio (weather permitting of course!).

The drinks, coffee and matcha lattes we bought from Red Buffalo the couple of times we visited during our mountain stay were all excellent. Red Buffalo has a great choice of drinks and in particular I would recommend the matcha latte with oat milk along with a pump of lavender and vanilla - absolutely delicious!! The drinks are very well priced compared to our regular coffee shop in Denver. The interior is lovely and the staff were friendly and efficient in what is a very busy coffee shop. The food options looked good too, although we only tried the choc chip cookies.

Our favorite coffee shop in Silverthorne! Fun artwork to look at/purchase by local artists is a nice bonus. Kids love the smoothies and adults love the coffee :). We go almost daily when we’re in town!

Good coffee and rolls/breads selection with reasonable prices. The real treat is the outdoor seating by the river! Got to enjoy our coffee, matcha, and cider on the sunny porch along the river.

There is a beautiful stream and sitting area behind this coffee/tea shop. Very quaint with bridge to adjourning areas. People were super friendly.

We stopped on the way west on i70. It was a great choice. The nutty professor was suggested and it was excellent. We love trying new local places and this is worth the stop

The best coffee shop in Summit County (or anywhere)! We stop here if we are anywhere even remotely close no matter the time of day, as it is our favorite coffee spot!

I did not sit down to enjoy this experience but a quick stop for coffee made a great start to the day. I had a known favorite coffee (the nutty professor) and it was well worth the local stop!

I discovered this on a early morning walk, very good coffee, staff and atmosphere. Great location along a hiking/bike trail and near a river for fly fishing. Coffee was very good and good value. Bagles, Scones, Mufffins were very good but, would pass on Blueberry scone, the outside was coated, it was good but would not buy again. Otherwise eerything was very good

I went to the Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea place today with some friends and family. There was a long line of people waiting. The reason for the delay was the young college age "girls" working the counter were not really paying attention to those in line. Instead, all they were interested in was talking "among themselves," about what they were going to do once they were back to college this Fall. I'm sorry, the people with me, me, nor the many who were patiently waiting, had absolutely no interest in their giggly gibberish...just do your job. Please, just be polite, take my order, and deliver the orders correctly and timely. My wife ordered tea, the young lady poured the water, and inserted the tea bag. Not rocket science...the problem? She forgot to deliver it to my wife until the water was cool, and the tea bag was still in the water. Therefore cool undrinkable tea was delivered. Me, I went to a coffee cafe' expecting good to great coffee. What I got was very average coffee on the level...or just below of a 7-11...certainly not gourmet. Unfortunately, not one person in our group of five will be back. To a person, all agreed the service was really bad, and the product was nothing special. I always try and find a positive about everywhere I review...so, here goes...the location on the Blue River is beautiful!

Hello David,
We agree that serving you, our customer, should be our highest priority.
We do not serve our tea with a tea bag, but rather we steep the tea for our customers in a infusing basket, timed to 2.5-3.5 minutes depending on the tea variety. We would be happy to steam the tea afterwards for you if you find that the infusing time as cooled the tea too much.
Thank you for taking the time for your feedback, we will incorporate that into our monthly staff meetings.

We got there and there was a line. Took almost 20 minutes to get a large coffee. Not enough help and their process is slow. Tried to go local not Starbuckz. Found this last visit too. Not sure I will go back on a Sunday.

Hello Kenny,
We are working on a "just coffee/exact change" line. Summer weekends in the mountains have become very busy, especially Sundays with people heading out of town.
Thank you for the feedback.
