The ambiance is laid back and unique with lighted trees, a real fireplace and even the use of antique doors/windows to help with social distancing. When arriving, the host checks your temperature which no other place did on our 10 day road trip. I believe...they take patron safety seriously! The drink menu has many interesting choices and it was hard to choose what to try. The drinks we ended up getting were fantastic! We also shared the Southwest Platter between us instead of getting entrees and it was filling with good flavors, especially the smoked pork tacos and nachos! Our server, Brian, was attentive, friendly and answered any questions quickly and easily. You felt like you were a regular he has known for a while. Brian will take great care of you. Derailed has a neat atmosphere with interesting lighting, artwork, and 80s music videos on the projector screen. Reasonable selection of handheld foods and salads. I've been here a couple of times passing through the area, and the burgers...are always good. Last night it was the bacon cheddar with fried onion bits. Yum. I don't drink so can't tell you much about the alcohol selection except they have what you are looking for if that is your thing. The ice water is refreshing and limitless. Side note for CoVID precautions the guest greeter will take your temperature to make sure you are not running a fever.More
