The food is top-notch; I had a hanger steak which is so rare to find on any m...Their steaks and fish are a hit and you must try the Lobster Burger Decadent My girlfriend ordered the duck, which I also tried, and was also on cloud 9....... appetizers, main dishes from hamburgers to top grade steaks, duck, or fish.

Second time here, just as great as the first!

We had previously been to Eolus three years ago and fell in love with this place! We started with the lobster corndogs. This was a creative idea but we wanted more lobster flavor. Then the roasted beet and goat cheese salad along with a caprese...salad. The beet salad was still as delicious as it was the first time! The caprese salad was tasty, but we would have preferred the balsamic to be reduced more to a yummy syrup. The seafood stew was to die for!! And the creme brûlée is a must!And the jalapeño margarita was delish!More

Traveling cross-country solo

I’m traveling cross-country solo and selected this restaurant based on the reviews. I wanted something high quality. I was under-impressed. First, the server was a nice young man but had no idea what to do with a solo diner. A little conversation would have gone...a long way in making my dining experience more enjoyable. It certainly would have been better than constantly trying to upsell me. News flash: A 110 lb woman will be plenty full on an app, salad and bread. And no, I don’t want another $15 glass of wine, for the third time. The scallop app was delicious. Well done. The warm beet salad was a disappointment. The beets were pickled and tart. The salad was laden with goat cheese and swimming in dressing. The prices were ridiculous. I kicked myself for not looking at the menu on line before dining. Oh well.More

Cool vibe and creative menu

This was our best meal in Durango and we hit several of the top 10's here. Great vibe with low lights and brick walls. The servers are all on top of their game and do a tag-team presentation that is efficient and interesting. The food...is top-notch; I had a hanger steak which is so rare to find on any menu - it is truly the most flavorful cut of the animal, and it was cooked perfectly. Coffee and desserts were really good too. Well-rounded place and great value. Will definitely re-visit.More

Great Food and Service!

We had a great dinner here as a family! The rooftop seating is the place to sit in the restaurant. The food was really good, the best we’ve had in Durango! The service was great!! The waiter knew the food really well, and the specials...too. He also had a good knowledge of the wine list. The support wait staff were really good too. They were attentive and knew how and when to clear dishes, which is becoming a rarity. Overall a great experience!!More

Two nights in a row!

We loved it so much we went 2 nights in a row! Ask to sit upstairs if that’s an option for you- it’s beautiful. We had two delicious meals here and the local wines are amazing. I would definitely recommend Eolus to anyone looking for...an amazing local Colorado meal.More

Prime rib

Everything was top. Food was delicious. We had the prime rib and shared an order. To share was five dollars more but they doubled the sides and halved the meat which was plenty for us. Beautiful presentation and the servers we well trained.

Excellent dining experience

I ate here with my wife. We agreed that this an excellent restaurant into with much thought has been given. The meal we were served approached artistry. This has been accurately reviewed by others on TripAdvisor. The acoustics and background music as well as lighting...were spot on. Our server took time with each party which was facilitated by supporting staff. Analise, paced our meal well and was there when needed. We enjoyed an excellent dining experience here.More

Evening dinner

We apparently insulted the chef. We ordered filet and waiter suggested medium rare. We don’t like our meat red so we requested medium well which is normally with a thin pink center. Steaks came out beyond well done wit obvious char on the exterior and...we tasted that. We won’t be returning.More

Excellent Menu and Friendly Staff

The Eolus restaurant has spaced their tables and seating area to comply with COVID requirements therefore, we were super fortunate that they had space for us for dinner. The menu offered a nice variety of meals and the wine list had some local Colorado wines...which were very nice. The beet salad and the grilled Salmon were excellent as was the Buckel Rose. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.More

Excellent food and great gluten

Excellent food and great gluten free options. The owner was very friendly and truly cares about your experience. We tried to return for a second time on our trip but they were closed. We would recommend you try this place while in Durango.
