We found Colorado Mountain Brewery by accident and so glad we did! Visited around 7 on a Friday, so of course very busy. We managed to snag a high top for 2 in the bar area- a bit of luck since the wait was about 25 minutes for a table.
As busy as it was, we expected the service to be understandably slow, but we were happily proven wrong. Almost as soon as we sat down, one of the bar staff greeted us, got us waters and took our beer order. The service kept getting even better. The bar staff worked as a team and we had our order taken quickly, food served, dishes cleared , etc. so fast and with a smile. The food was really good- tried the bison chili queso, Bison burger and the Colorado pizza. Yum!
The bar staff was amazing to watch. They all worked hard, were friendly, knowledgeable and a great example of teamwork. Everyone we came in contact with was great! Highly recommend!

I love this place great beer the staff is spectacular the food is good and it’s a clean place. They stayed open during Covid you had to sit outside. Again spectacular staff however ownership doesn’t fully appreciate their staff. After their shift they can’t stay for a beer even though the bar may be empty. What is up with that. I left another review about this got a response and now I can’t find that review. You have a great staff treat them like that

We enjoyed our tasty bison meatloaf and steaks and the wide selection of local beers. Our food order was slightly delayed but our server made it right by discounting our bill. This is a good spot for families and groups.

We have been going to the Colorado Mountain Brewery for several years; it has been a great place to take family and friends from out of town, and to meet with friends for lunch or for special occasions. We've always found the food to be good and the service to be friendly and courteous - until the most recent visit, meeting with friends for lunch. The food, as always, was very good, but the service was awful. Our "server" was rude, unfriendly and dismissive, and clearly couldn't stand to be in the same room with us. The complete opposite of what we had always experienced before. We'll probably hold off on meeting here again for lunch for a while, at least until this "server" has hopefully moved on to a job she's more suited for.

We had 2 appetizers, the egg rolls were good, the fries were undercooked and a little snappy.
I had the southwest salad, it was too oniony and spicy to my likings, wouldn’t order again and didn’t finish it.
My family liked their meals. My son’s prime rib sandwich was a little chewy and fatty.
Pasta wasn’t bad, not too flavorful.
Ribs were tender.

After a long day of hiking and exploring beautiful Colorado Springs, nothing sounds better than a delicious meal and a cold beverage. Colorado Mountain Brewing is a perfect place to stop! We started off with the Bison Queso…amazing! This was easily one of the best dips I have ever tasted. We also ordered the grilled chicken Cesar salad and the Colorado Pizza. The Colorado Pizza has ground bison, chorizo, red onion, smoked gouda, and an amber ale BBQ sauce. The menu was extensive and everything was delicious. Every item that the servers passed by with also looked tasty, including the massive pretzel appetizer. Order a cold beverage and filling meal at Colorado Mountain Brewing!

Colorado Mountain Brewery is owned by Us Air Force Academy graduates and as big supporters of the Academy and local economy we wanted to support them as well. On the Sunday we came in (seven of us) we ordered appetizers and drinks. The drinks arrived quickly, and they had a nice beer selection, but the rest of the story did not run out the same way. The first five appetizers very well could have been from any restaurant anywhere. The nacho chips and salsa were nothing to write home about, the home fried potato chips with melted cheese on top looked like regular bar food, the chicken quesadillas were another could have been any brewery dish, the Brussel Sprouts while tasty were definitely not a made with a to cook sauce, rather it was likely a jarred or bottled sauce and the French Fries, well they were actually decent and well seasoned. Being seven of us these apps did not go far so another order of chips and salsa and Brussel Sprouts were placed. About twenty minutes later they came to the table to say the kitchen was backed up and the order would be a bit longer? For nacho chips and salsa, really, all it takes is pouring it out of a bag and jar into a plate! And the Brussel Sprouts, not a hard dish to make either. Finally after another 15 minutes they both arrived, and get this, there was no salsa with the nacho chips! Upon bringing the bill the waiter apologizes again, but it was too late, and the restaurant was not even very crowded. We tried to give the local guys a chance and the mark was missed in many areas. The one positive takeaway - it was PGA Championship Sunday when we were there and to watch Philly Mick pull off a major championship at 50 was incredible, especially as we had been following the story all week.

5:30 PM....Tried to call for take out using the online number given; the line went directly to voice mail ("Leave a message"). Went to the restaurant to place our take out order using a different phone number posted outside by the curb. Paid $58 (including tip) and change for 2 appetizers, a soup and an entrée. Quoted a 20 -25 minute wait. Having waited in the car for 50 minutes after we ordered and having called a second time, we went in to find the meals we were already been charged and tipped for. Provided with a "sorry about that" attitude.
Had looked forward to going to this restaurant for several days, but very disappointed.

While waiting for check-in time at a hotel we stopped in for a late lunch. Our granddaughter ordered beef sliders and fries, I had the Southwest salad and my husband had nachos. All of the food was good, but the pork on top of the nachos was dried out. The IPA and Cabernet we ordered were both good. Atmosphere was friendly and we'd definitely come back!

Their reputation for burgers is well founded. Ours were both delicious. The beef was well flavored and the bun was an especially nice twist.
The crowning glory was the venison egg rolls. Wow! They fantastic. The blueberry BBQ sauce with them was a taste delight! My chocolate martini was perfectly made and our sweet waitress was a very attentive. It was a great visit worth repeating.

We have enjoyed CMB many times in the past year but last night, Mar 20 2022, everything was off. Even though our waiter was very attentive and polite, the food was tasteless, the room we were put in was freezing, and the acne-pocked hostess was surly and she lied to us about our only seating choice being at the bar or in the freezing patio room right next to sliding exterior doors that leaked air between them. We had reservations, we showed up on time, and when we asked for alternative seating there were many other seating choices including two already-bussed booths that were right next to us, yet she insisted (with a frown and disdainful look) that she didn't have anything other than those two options. Obviously, we have plenty of other restaurant options in Colorado Springs, so will probably not be back at CMB anytime soon. The waiter apologized for the problems, provided free desert, and told us the chef had only been there three days due to hiring problems, but I don't believe a restaurant that's well-managed can continue to blame problems on COVID or the lack of help anymore. My suggestion is to just pay more and make a tad less profit.

Incredibly disappointed by my most recent visit. One redeeming factor - food was good. I had the salmon. But so many problems, probably won't ever go again. We had a reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. The hostess didn't want to seat us, saying she needed to space out the waitress. There was an open booth that she seated with a walk in group. About 5 minutes after our reservation time, she sat us at the worst possible table. Right next to the door going to the outdoor seating area. People going in and out every 2-5 minutes. Drafty. My seat was literally right next to the door. There was a nearby table of 10 with 5 children who literally screamed for the first 30 minutes we were there. We couldn't talk, we couldn't hear the waitress. Awful. Service took a long time (drinks and food) which wouldn't be so bad except we couldn't hear the friends at the table to talk. So sad as the food here is good. We were here Sunday evening. Probably won't be back ever. 2 stars cause the food was good, but not worth the headache.

My nephew and his wife suggested this place since they had been there several times and thought we would like it. We did. I had the personal size pepperoni pizza which was fantastic. My wife had a Chicken Quesadilla, which was good but not outstanding. My nephew got a Reuben sandwich and his wife opted for the cheese and beer soup with salad, and both said their meals were very good. We had the onion ring appetizer and we liked it very much. Our server was friendly and very efficient.

We ordered the bison meatloaf wellington, fish and chips, and a pretzel to share among three people. There was plenty of food and we even brought some home. The beer was cold and very good. We made reservations and were seated immediately, but walk ins had to wait due to being short staffed. You don't have to make reservations, but you may have to wait.
The Bison Wellington was very good and the puff pastry was crisp and flakey. We felt the sauce was a little sweet to our taste, but that is just preference. You might consider having it served on the side. It was a huge serving. The fish and chips had light and crispy beer breading. Very good. The pretzel was perfect to share for three people.
It is a great restaurant to have beer and a pizza or appetizers if you don't want a huge meal. We will visit again.

Colorado Mountain Brewery serves great food and drinks. We decided to try this brewery since we had some time before a movie. We ordered drinks and appetizers, both were amazing. The appetizers we ordered were the venison eggrolls and glazed Brussels sprouts, also we ordered a bowl of bison chili. The appetizers and chili had very unique and delicious flavors, for drinks we ordered a Hefeweizen (German Wheat Beer); the beer is very good. Our server was extremely courteous and timely, I will definitely eat at Colorado Mountain Brewery again.
