We stopped going to the old location because the good food wasn’t worth the terrible waitstaff. After 7 or 8 times of odd experiences, we just stopped. We’ve now hit the downtown location for several Thursday morning breakfasts. Food is consistently good. Portions are more generous than before. And — critically — the waitstaff has been friendly, helpful, and efficient. GOGM is back on our recommendation list!

Six of us went to lunch on a Saturday and everyone loved their food -- service was great and the ambiance was fun. Would love to return in good weather when that big front patio is open. Salad ingredients were fresh and interesting, plenty of chicken. BLT was given two enthusiastic thumbs up. The cakes looked impressive, but were underwhelming. Would very happily return for lunch.

Arrived fora late breakfast on a Saturday. There was a line at the door but got seated quickly. Service was great. Really like the atmosphere.. has indoor and outdoor seating, large garage doors connect the inside and outside which I really like. They provide a carafe of water for the table which is nice. Food overall was good. Presentation was very nice. Fried chicken was good but it was smothered in the sausage gravy which overwhelmed the dish and of course made the beautiful piece of fried chicken soggy. The gravy was also a little too salty. The eggs benedict was tasty unfortunately the poached eggs were a little too well, we did not get the unctuous runny yoke. Avocado toast was tasty and just enough. Thick strips of bacon and avocado mash were good, needed more chili crunch and poached eggs would be even better vs. sliced hard boiled eggs. My favorite item was the torn hash browns. It is essentially that torn up potatoes that are deep fried. Even the very large pieces were crunchy and salty- just perfect.

We were seated almost immediately then wajted 10+ mins to even be greeted. The waiter checked on us maybe twice. The food was gross. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and the gravy was so salty I could barely eat it. My husband ordered the southwestern benedict which he said was ok. Overall just not a great experience from a place that came so highly recommended and rated. I would not return. Overpriced, mediocre food.

This place has so much potential to be a five star restaurant. The decor is great! Spacious seating, the cafe/dessert area oh so cute( note: none of the desserts are homemade), and the bar area is very aesthetically pleasing!! The problem is this restaurant definitely caters to the new world of self absorbed people. The ones that are always on their phones and can’t wait to take a picture of their drink or food! In doing so they’ve missed the mark on flavor profiles on both ends! The drinks and food presentation is very attractive, but neither are mind blowing, but mediocre at best!! My mimosa came with a flower in it, which made it pretty but was one of the worst mimosa’s I’ve had to suffer through( seriously how can you mess up a mimosa?!?!) and on top of that my whole glass was sticky, which makes you completely aware of using a recycled glass not properly cleaned! My second drink I requested, I was told by the cockiest bartender he could make it but that too was a huge disappointment. He did ask how it was, but I didn’t have the energy it would take deflating that ego, so I just went with it. The food we ordered, myself the eggs Benedict and I can’t remember the name of my husbands Sunday brunch choice, but neither had much flavor so when asked if we’d like hot sauce, I requested cholula. I’d like to compliment the fact that they properly bring out sauces here, which is what I mean they have potential!! You should never present the bottle, it should always go out as a side condiment in a ramekin, which they did, so kudos for that!! Attention to details like that is what sets you apart from other restaurants. The cutlery is a very poor quality. Both of our knives could barely cut through our food and mine is on an English muffin! Suggestions: If you could teach the people you hire to give better high end friendlier service. (We sat at the bar, so maybe it’s better in the dining room) If they could work on more attention to the flavor profile for the drinks and the food, instead of how pretty they are for social media, try making it something memorable for the palate. Last but not least, the older gentleman manager, I think I heard them say Chris- he could also use a lesson in managing properly like checking in on all guests and not just the ones he thinks makes him still young and cool. To see him cater to the customers that have no manners( a guy who sits at the bar playing his music on his phone as loud as possible in a restaurant( no manners)and he and his girl friend stayed glued to their phones the whole time, instead of interacting with one another)) I mean that’s the clientele this place and manager seem to want to spend their time with, so it’s not a fit for me!! All the way around super disappointing for the price point! I completely expected more, but as I said, it does have the potential to be a 5 star.

The ambiance is really bustling and fun but the food is TERRIBLE. I got the Nashville hot honey chicken sandwich. How do you mess this up? Way overcooked chicken, zero hot, zero honey flavor and not crunchy chicken. Stale bun, mediocre frozen fries, bad coleslaw and mediocre house made pickles. My boyfriend got the smoked salmon benedict. The biscuit was days old, ice cold and hard as a rock. It was also absolutely smothered in hollandaise, which obscured any nuances. My service was excellent, the only high point. Don't fall for this place!

Food was delicious and service was prompt. We had to wait a little longer than the hostess originally told us but The couches outside were nice to wait on. The food came out quickly so that was a plus. I REALLY enjoyed my lobster benedict and my husband's salmon sandwich had a huge filet on it. Save room for dessert, they have so many to choose from. My kids' favorite was the German chocolate cake!

I ordered the eggs benedict on a biscuit. The biscuit was stale and hard - I could not even cut it with a knife. It was like a Christmas cookie - I had to "snap" it half. The egg was hard and round and just sitting on top of the spinach. The waiter gave me 25% off even though I didn't eat the entre. I'm struggling with the good reviews. I would never go back.

This venue is NOT at the Garden of the Gods park; it's located in downtown Colorado Springs. The address listed on TA is not correct, see earlier reviews. We came on a Sunday morning and it was hopping! Best to get there at "in-between" times to decrease your wait time. Our server was friendly and attentive. Some wait staff were wearing masks, others were not. All of our entrees arrived piping hot and were very tasty. Their grilled cheese sandwich is pure comfort food! Delish! We also took advantage of their ready-to-go salads and entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken pot pie for dinner. Crust was beautifully flaky and scrumptious.

When we visited the restaurant, it was crowded. We waited a bit longer than told to be seated, but not outrageous. We waited several minutes before our waiter arrived to take drink orders and it took quite a while for them to arrive, but being crowded, it was understandable. He left the drinks and said he would be right back to get our order, which took almost 15 minutes. Ordered and it took a very long time for the food to show up. My wife ordered a side of bacon and requested it to be crisp - it wasn’t even close. I ordered butter to use with my meal - never showed up. We asked for more ice for our tea and more tea - he came back with ice, but never brought tea. Frustrating. Food was good, but not outstanding and after spending $120 for 4 people, it should have been.

We went there yesterday after hiking in the Garden of Gods Park. The 2 gentlemen that were hosting were so welcoming. We were seated right away. It was a little noisy but I guess that is what to expect on a Sunday. My daughter ordered the avocado toast and since she is a vegan, had it without the bacon and egg. It was tasty, especially with the sriracha aioli. My mom and I split the waygu cheeseburger, which was unbelievably tasty. I think it was the tomato confit that was on there. I loved crispy thin fries. FYI if you split a dish they charge you $2. Good choice for visiting CS. The market had some cool stuff, but I thought it was overpriced.

Delicious food, Fresh, good portion sizes and wonderful service. The bakery case was filled with delectable pies, cakes, cookies and assorted pastries. Everything looked great. I should have saved room for dessert.

The best. I repeat, THE BEST, breakfast we've had in Colorado, or maybe ever. My wife said the Southwest Eggs Benedict was the best Eggs Benedict she has ever had (even wrote it on the merchant copy credit card receipt). The Banana Bread French Toast, incredible. I will dream of that French Toast. We will be back!

Based on the new mask regulations,we did not have to wear masks here. We were seated at two tables next to each other, and having 3 women seated on the side of one table seemed to be a bit crowded. The table with 4 of us was quite comfortable. Their tables are heavy, and not easy to move around. Four of our group of 9 ordered cocktails, and they were very good. The one which was described as having a rim of bee pollen would have been better served as described. With bee pollen and honey down one side of the glass, it made the drink messy to deal with. We had sticky fingers before napkins ever arrived at the table. Otherwise, that drink was delicious. Several of us ordered shrimp and grits, and that dish was excellent. The pimiento cheese in the center of the grits was very tasty, and the 5 grilled shrimp were flavorful. Everyone enjoyed the dishes they ordered. Parking is a huge issue, since the neighborhood is very crowded now, apparently even on a Sunday. We had reservations, and it appeared that is a must. The Cafe has a small market and bakery section by the entrance, but portions in the Cafe are generous, so I did not even consider buying anything.

We went to this cafe after doing some hiking in the Garden of the Gods. At first, I was under the impression that it was on the GotG property, but it's actually in downtown Colorado Springs. The food and drinks were good quality, and the service was friendly and prompt. I got the "By Way of Bees" cocktail at the recommendation of our server, and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend!
