Took the family to McPhee’s on Thanksgiving and it was quite a treat. The meals were very well done and plated beautifully. So delicious and portions were exceptionally generous — especially on dessert! The creme brûlée is excellent and is not your average thin ramekin....We were all very impressed with the food the atmosphere and the wait staff!! Glad to have found this gem!More

A very quaint restaurant with delicious food. The owners of Seven Angels Cellars joined us for dinner. The evening couldn't have ben better. Our east coast tour group loved the food and wine experience. Oh, almost forgot, the waiters were pros and customer service was...second to none.More

My husband & I haven't been here in a very long time. So many restaurants to try in Paso Robles, Cambria & Templeton. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is nice & the staff are spot on, very attentive. For starters, my husband had the...Ian's salad of mixed greens with cocktail shrimp & a balsamic vinegar dressing. I had the Iceberg Wedge, which was out of this world. Cut into thirds so you aren't fighting the wedge, great presentation. The bread was warm & tasty. For dinner, my husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes & vegetables. I had the ravioli which was awesome! Large ravioli's stuffed with cheese & topped with spinach, mushrooms & tomatoes in a light sauce. For dessert, we had Creme Brulee which was fantastic, not to sweet. Our dinners were out of this world! We look forward to returning in the future.More

We both had the fish tostada and found it to be excellent! Comfortable setting, and great service. McPhee's remains a reliable choice for great food and ambiance. Highly recommended.

When my friends from out of town visit, my first choice to impress is always McPhee's. The food and the service is always excellent. Templeton is a small country town and so different from Los Angeles.

If we could give McPhee's Grill six stars we would! The food and wine were exceptional and the service was outstanding! We were seated in what I would call the back dining room which was large, had a high ceiling and great decor. The tables...were very well spaced. So often, nowadays, restaurants are so crowded, but not McPhee's Grill. Our table for four was large and the seating comfortable. The pace was just right - not too fast and not too slow. Our server was a real pro and very friendly. We had a wonderful evening to remember and wish it were closer so we could go more often!More

Enjoyed the quiet setting and very good food: Local lamb chops, pork chops, and King Salmon. We were given a bread basket with three different breads.

McPhee's is a longtime locals' favorite for excellently prepared dining, drink and a fun, family friendly environment. Whether you try their famous thick and tender grilled pork chop with apricot & ancho chile glaze, juicy steaks, perfectly prepared seafood or salads, you won't regret it....And the desserts aren't bad either. With a full bar and fine local Paso Robles wines, pick your drink(s) to accompany the dining and it will be a dinner to be remembered. Prices are fairly high for the area but worth it (you can see their menu online I believe). McPhee's should not be missed if you live in the area or just visiting and wine touring,More

McPhee's Grill is a great choice for dining in the Paso Robles/Templeton area. It's meat heavy but they also have a lot of non-meat alternatives. The dining areas are very comfortable and the service is attentive. We were a large group of 8 and they...couldn't have been nicer accommodating our large party. There were no issues with any of the food selections. Appetizers were great and all the entrees were well done. A definite thumbs up!More

Yes there is and unfortunately its one of the highest out there. If I remember (and I could be wrong) its about $20. Better to just go and have their wine. Their house wines are very good.

I've lived in Templeton since I was 11 years old... Back when it was a po-dunk farm town. It's definitely lost that vibe and become more of a yupee feel, which I hate, but unfortunately it's the way things go when you live... More
