we just had dinner at il cortile and the food was amazing. the truffle pasta was the star of the night but so was the boar rage. Service was friendly and attentive and the evening was just wonderful. Thanks so much
We had a large party. We were seated up against the kitchen window. I liked it because we were able to watch the kitchen. Our server was friendly. We ordered several of her suggestions. The pappardelle with boar ragú was delicious. The tomato and burrata...was a winner as well. We had the fruit tart for dessert. Everything we ordered was delicious.More
Good food. Pricey, but all of Paso is these days. We were seated promptly for our 830p reservation. Entrees arrived at 945p! I ordered a bottle of 2011 locally produced Italian wine. The 10 years of age were important because it was a big Italian...red from Paso. Our waiter brought the bottle, opened and poured. I commented that it tasted quite big, and that even at 10 years of age it would have been better with more time. After the waiter left I noticed that our wine was from 2014, not 2011. I pointed this out to him, and he simply told us that the wine list indicated that vintages could change. I told him that while that might be so, it was still his responsibility to tell us of that change before opening the bottle. At that point he just walked away.More
We had a fantastic dinner at Il Cortile! The service was great, the food was outstanding! I had the special pasta with a light cream sauce and black truffles...it was divine! We are going back there for sure when we visit again.
We enjoyed everything we ordered, but thought some things were *really* over-priced. The "piatto di formaggio" was $19; it had 6 small wedges of cheese, six crackers and a few raspberries. The waitress told us what 2 of the 3 kinds of cheese were, but...said the third kind was "formaggio." When I said, "Yes, but "formaggio" is just Italian for cheese ... what KIND is it?" she answered, parmesan.
One of us had salmon ($28) and one of us had the homemade ravioli ($27). There weren't many ravioli on the plate, which ... but his time ... left my husband very hungry. It was odd, because the dessert plates were large. The cannoli were very good.More
Small, quaint. Extremely good service and food was excellent. I'm from SoCal and have had Italian in New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, SFO. This place is legit. Menu is very good, portions perfect.
Really would give it 4-1/2 stars and hate to not give it...5 but.....This might seem pety, but this a place where two people will drop at least $150 for dinner. I asked for a club soda because I wasn't drinking. Server said the club soda they had was for cocktails only. HUH? Think it was a reasonable request that could have been accomodated.
So and expect a great meal, but dont ask for a club soda.More
From our knowledgable waitress to the delicious food, and an outdoor table on a beautiful night, our dinner at Il Cortile was wonderful. We started with the Caprese - tomato confit, bufala mozzarella, pesto and fresh basil, delicious. They didn't have any gluten-free pasta so...I had the Osso Bucco which was fabulous, paired with Risotto. My son had some of their fresh bread (it smelled delicious) and the Branzino - served filleted (much more appetizing than other restaurants that serve it whole).More
Small restaurant that has a big feel. All the dishes looked amazing and it was hard to pick just a few, the Carpaccio tartufo and the Crostini con burrata were a delicious start. We decided to go with the Pappardelle al cinghiale with the wild...boar sauce, it was so amazingly good and the fresh pasta makes the dish. Liam who was our server and bartender was so personable and just added to our evening. Would definitely go backMore
