Fantastic food great setting and service was impeccable. We advised the restaurant we were celebrating special birthdays and received a lovey dessert at the end of the meal which was a lovely touch.

This place knows how to cookItalian---I've been to Ital at least a dozen times and dined in terrific restaurants there and in NYand San Francisco and Monterey and this place is right there with the best of them. Excellent wine list that realizes offering Italian...wines in addition to Paso wines is a smart thing to do. Had one of the best octopus dishes and cinghiale I've had this side of Tuscan.More

That dinner a couple nights ago for anniversary. Pasta was good. Don't know why they wanted to ask for a special occasion like my anniversary and ignored it. I do recommend the food that's about it

This place is absolutely, unforgettable!! This is a must to visit while Paso!! This place is a GEM! I had the opportunity to visit Paso Robles with my close friend visiting from Atlanta. We started out looking for something to eat and we stumbled upon...this magnificent restaurant. We had know idea how amazing the food, drinks and atmosphere would provide! We called made last minute reservations for the bar area and from the time we entered we felt very welcomed. THE BEST MIXOLOGIST EVER was Crystal!!! Absolutely blown away with her genuine kindness and excellent service! Crystal was so well versed with the menu items! We decided on the Spaghetti alla bottarga, Branzino, and the Costate di agnello (Lamb chops). The most amazing cocktail was the Amaretta Sour with Egg Whites!!!! This was our first visit to Il Cortile, and we were impressed; we’ll certainly be back. Service was very good from start to finish. Reasonable pricing for high quality Italian food. Pappardelle con cinghiale was outstanding, as was the risotto. I was impressed by the...number of fine Italian wines that are available, but if you want to stay local, there’s a wide array of wines from the Paso region. I plan to push for monthly dinners here…odds are good that my wife will agree.More

Unimpressed to say the least. We were thankful for being sat without a reservation, but that’s where the good vibes ended. Worst arugula salad we’ve had. It was mostly pure stems. Asked 3 times for bread, which eventually came out at the end of our...meal and was the best tasting food we’d had. After the 3rd ask the server told us he doesn’t get the bread but he would ask again. Ironically, it’s from a local bakery and not the restaurants bread. Should’ve asked from where. My pasta dish was okay and that’s only because the pasta tastes fresh. Wouldn’t go back.More

We have always enjoyed dining at Il Cortile on every trip to Paso Robles. This visit was no exception! From our warm welcome, to our fantastic server Frank, to the amazingly delicious food, our evening was so perfect! The specialty cocktails are delicious and the...wine list, especially with Italian wines, was exceptional! My husband loved his Osso Buco served with black truffle risotto! I snuck a taste of the risotto and I could’ve enjoyed that as a stand alone meal! I had the amazing pappardelle di cinghalie (wild boar) and it was so authentically Tuscan that we felt like we had landed in Italy! Paired with a lovely 2017 Poggiano Brunello di Montalcino we were so pleased! Surprisingly, we made room for dessert- a decadent, delicious chocolate molten cake. Il Cortile never fails to make a night out such a pleasant evening! We only wish we lived closer!More

I started with the caprese salad, the tomatoes and mozzarella were very good with a delicious aged vinegar dressing. My husband had the Octopus which was good ( but not the best he has had). I then ordered a 1/2 order of fettuccine with black...truffles which was outstanding! I had the Sea Bass special of the day. The presentation was beautiful but it tasted very fishy. ( For the special you would think it would be fresher) My husband ordered the Veal Chop which I tasted and both of us agreed it was good but had better ones elsewhere. It was grisly and the we felt this was a choice cut instead of a prime cut. My husband ordered the custard fruit tart and I order the tiramisu both were excellent. On the internet it said wine corkage was $20 they charged us $25. The waiter and over all service was fantastic. The have an outdoor patio which would be nice on a warm evening. I would go back but was a bit disappointed for it being a one star Michelin.More

Il Cortile Ristorante in Paso Robles is a must-visit for exceptional dining. Grilled Octopus, Crostini con Burrata, and Ossobuco were outstanding. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back!

We had made a previous reservation. We were seated upon arrival. Waitress greeted us right away and took our drink order. Drinks arrived in short order. Ordered appetizers and our entrees.
