A diner from the 60s. I arrived 8am and already crowded. Extensive menu with all sorts of food and drinks options. My omelette was huge and imagine other items too, ok taste and quality. Good service

we went 0900 Sat, 6/1. Interesting and varied menu. Hugely popular and we experienced why. Excellent service. Despite crowds parking was available and we were seated within 5 min. Food was plentiful and delicious.

I thought, this place is expensive for breakfast, but that's Palm Springs, however the amount of food they give you for the price is incredible. I got blueberry pancakes- but it comes with 3 giant pancakes, eggs, and meat. I don't eat eggs, so the...waiter suggested fruit. They have chicken sausage available. The pancakes were so delicious. Fluffy, sweet, packed with blueberries. The restaurant is bustling, but I was able to get seated right away. It was a great meal and experience.More

Hubby and I were looking for a hearty breakfast before going for an adventure at a National Park while in Palm Springs. This diner style joint offers just that. We got the Stuffed Hash Brown, and German Pancake. Good service but food took awhile to...come out. Overall okay joint.More

I’m a sucker for a standard diner. Elmers is one such diner that provides all I could ever ask for. One thing I never knew I needed were Dutch baby pancakes! Huge, delicious and in my case full of fruit. Paired with eggs, bacon and...way too much coffee - I was good to go float in the pool for hours and hours without needing to eat until dinner. We made two visits in four days as it’s just a solid spot and you get a large portion that will hold you over. If you love diner’s , look no further.More

Pleasant surroundings for an informal meal. Prices are reasonable and portions large. Dutch Babies (aka German pancakes) are the attraction. Even though my husband makes better ones.

Have been to other Elmer's over the years and wanted to try this one. Heard about prime rib special for dinner so had to try it and it was excellent. Also had California Eggs Benedict with avocados also delicious. Service was prompt and courteous.

Tourists flock to this place. I'm not sure why other than the fact that there aren't many breakfast places in Palm Springs. I live very near there, and have eaten there several times out of convenience. The service is very nice, and the look is...very New Jersey diner like. The food and prices, however, don't match up to that standard. The food is generally ok. Nothing special. The big problem is that after some recent price hikes, I'm not sure the value is still there. Like I said, the food isn't bad, but how much are you willing to pay for pancakes? I once tried their specialty, the German Pancake, because it looked so good in the photos. Unfortunately, it was a soggy, rubbery mess that I wouldn't get again. I would give the food here a 2.5 stars if I could, and the service a 3.5 stars.More

Massive servings, I had the lingonberry German pancake and it was delicious. The lingonberry butter put it over the top, I'm still thinking about it. Lol It comes with eggs and meat and honestly, they don't need to be there because it's just too much....But it was delish! It was busy, but they moved people through efficiently. The service was excellent. I would recommend it for breakfast or brunch.More

Service was great at this restaurant: friendly and efficient. The food was pretty good overall- some things better than others. The German pancakes were a highlight.

We came here for one reason, I saw a picture of the cinnamon roll pancakes and had to try them. I was not disappointed. I only ordered a half portion which was plenty (two pancakes). The waiter also brought me double cream cheese frosting which...was really good. I had a side of hash browns and those were just ok but it was a large portion. My wife had the turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. She loved the green beans the most and the turkey was moist. Overall a quality meal.More

My husband and i stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Aerial Tram. It was pretty busy, but we were seated quickly. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was pretty good. I had the German pancake platter. The pancake is...light with lemon and sugar. My husband had eggs benedict. We enjoyed our breakfast.More

My family and I looked forward to eating at Elmer's restaurant since we had visited 2 years before. The food was reasonably priced and the kids enjoyed the food which is hard to find. However, our experience was anything but satisfactory. We had anticipated the...homemade milkshakes and looked forward to those all day. But, we were told the new owner had come in October and revamped the menu and took milkshakes off the menu. Given it was late we stayed anyway. The kids ages 14 and 10 were tired an hungry. I was torn between a Rueben and breakfast but I hadn't had a good Rueben in a while and ordered. First of all everyone knows a Rueben is GRILLED. This wasn't. It came a little burnt and just toasted the grisly corned beef was heated in a microwave which turned it into rubber and overheated. It was inedible. I took off the meat and just ate a sauerkraut toasted sandwich. It was too late and we had to get the girls to bed. My granddaughter who order pancakes had to wait until we were leaving to get the grapes that came with her order. I felt sorry for the waiter, he was trying his best but you could tell he had been there for a long time and the new owner was making it difficult for him to earn a living.More

We were looking for a place to stop on our drive from Sedona to Lax . We decided Palm Springs was close enough to get to the airport on time but far enough for a sensible break also. The food was delicious, the service friendly...as advertised and the prices and parking easy. Definitely recommend for all travellersMore

Family of 5 visited on a Friday morning for Brunch. We were quickly seated after being given the option to dine inside or outside. Alex was our server and was great to deal with. The menu was extensive and he talked us through a couple...of questions we had and was very patient while we deliberated on our final orders. Pleasingly, there were several gluten-free options to choose from and Alex kindly swapped out the biscuit for fruit on one particular dish. The meals were served promptly, were flavorsome, and of very generous proportions that kept us going all day. Would definitely recommend Elmers.More

Don't know their prices but they are very reasonable and on par with Denny's or other chains. Just much better food.
