My husband, sister-in-law and I enjoyed a lovely dinner on the magical outdoor patio of this restaurant. I loved the tall Indian Laurel ficus trees which the server said were planted in 1973. The building was constructed in 1972. The trees were decorated with lighting...and looked beautiful. We had a portable propane heater nearby so we were comfortable in February. I had lobster bisque. We shared a baked onion tart with feta cheese and black olives. I had sea bass. My husband had rack of lamb. My sister-in-law had beef cheeks. We shared a passion fruit crème brûlée. The food was delicious. In good weather most people probably want to sit on the patio, but the indoor seating looked fine with good ambiance and would allow the opportunity to have a delicious meal.More

The service was excellent but the food was inconsistent. The scallop appetizer was wonderful, tasty and unique with the crunchy outside. I had the Chilean sea bass. It was ok not nothing great. My partner had the lamb. The lamb was drowned in a sauce...that was missing something.More

First of all I apologize for any misspellings of names. My husband and I had a lovely meal tonight. Paulina was so kind and found a perfect table for us. Kianna was attentive and engaging. But truly Edgar made the meal so very special. He...was personable and thoughtful. And he knew about everything and his recommendations were spot on! Oh and the food was amazing. I had the bacon wrapped scallops and the lobster ravioli (which we will have as a leftover tomorrow). My husband the escargot and the veal medallions. I have seen the negative reviews and completely disagree! Grácias Edgar!More

A beautiful venue, great courtyard. That was the best of it. The food was just "ok" and extremely overpriced. It was an experience, but not again. Try a smaller local owned place to eat.

For starters I want to recognize Sabrina who greeted us when we arrived. She was so helpful. We had wanted to eat outside and closest to the heaters but both tables she showed us were still rather chilly. She was so patient in helping us...find just the right spot. She really added to our experience. The service in general was inconsistent and at times flippant. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass and I found the lobster ravioli to be OK but not excellent. The ambiance is lovely.More

We went out to dinner and unfortunately we will not be returning or recommending it to our friends. The food that we had was mostly good (except for my Duck which had so much fat that it was barely edible). The service not so much....Our server (ID 3394) was very dismissive and seemed to act like he wished he was anywhere else but at the restaurant. He barely answered our questions about the menu and just did not help make our meal special. The prices are high, so you expect a bit more. Our wine sommelier was entertaining but was one of the poorest that we've ever encountered. I made my red wine bottle selection, he then poured a taste for me, and then was so engaged with our other table guests, that he did not even ask me if it was any good, he just started pouring. I would have expected him to ask me my thoughts, and then maybe tasted it with his tasting vin to see if it needed any decanting. Obviously the tasting vin around his neck was just for show and is probably never used. Really poor, and he's been there for 39 years!!. Weird. Oh well, we learned our lesson. Too bad, the garden in the back is beautiful. Also, the host that sat us, valet park attendant and the bus waiters were all excellent.More

Reading this review some might expect 1 or 2 stars, but I took a look at the bigger picture when evaluating our experience. We traveled to Palm Springs for our first ever Christmas in warm weather. From the moment we sat down in this restaurant...on Christmas Eve it felt like we were in an episode of the Twilight Zone, it was surreal. Our drink order was taken promptly and my wife's wine arrived immediately but my drink never came. I asked two more times if someone could check on it (our waiter was MIA), finally the bartender brought it out. The restaurant was packed but seemed to be fully staffed with the possible exception being the bar (there were only two people with more than one hundred people in the place). For the remainder of the evening the server NEVER asked once how our meal was, not once. The word dismissive doesn't begin to describe the way we felt. On our way out I mentioned to the manager just how horrible our evening had been and he offered to take something off the bill which I declined; I was not looking for anything but he need to be aware of this. The food was amazing and the other servers were in fact engaging with their customers. I'm calling this a one off and the it was one of the bartenders hearing this communication with the manager that insisted to my wife that he buy a round of drinks for us, not wanting us to leave feeling this way which was a nice gesture. We tipped both bar tenders $20.00 each for making our evening our evening end on a positive note. To both of you working on Christmas Eve, thank you. To the manager/owner, we pointed out our table and now it's on you to address the hideous customer experience we had, many reviewers would not have been as charitable.More

Make reservation before you go! We were seated in the amazing outdoor courtyard area with many mature trees. Even in a chilly evening, they made it comfortable with the overhead heaters, as well as the heat lamp. We were toasty. The atmosphere is ultra romantic,...very suited for a special occasion. The service here is excellent, top notch. The menu is written on a white board. We did not get the tasting menu with multiple courses. Ended up ordering the escargot for appetizer, lamb chops (melt in your mouth tender) that came with ratatouille and potato croquette (so yummy). Also got the stuffed duck breast with dates in orange sauce, with couscous and rainbow carrots. The presentation is gorgeous. Like looking at art work. Got the chocolate soufflé for dessert. We shared even though it was very tempting to have one each! Beautiful presentation and one of the best soufflés we've ever had. The whole night is A+. When we visit Palm Springs again, this is definitely on our list.More

One of the best filets that I have heated. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It is under "Beef filet, cabernet reduction, onion marmelade, potato purée, haricot vert". Good services. Great place. Ask for a table in the patio.

A wonderful Sunday brunch! The outside patio enclosed by Indian ficus trees but cooled with air conditioning was so inviting. Champagne 🍾 to start off a bottomless cup for brunch with a fixe prix menu $79/person) in a three-course menu. The selections were all out-of-this-world. I...had Hamachi tartar with a ring of radish and topped with avocado. Delectable. My wife has a Bartlett pear stuffed with Rockford cheese and walnuts. For mains, I had Spanish octopus on a bed of garbanzo beans purée that was cooked perfectly. My wife has eggs Benedict with smoked salmon that was delectable. For dessert, we both had the mixed berries and ice cream. All told, brunch was amazing. The wait staff were engaging and a lot of fun. Can’t wait to return for dinner. Thank you Jerrold LermanMore
