Our first trip post-pandemic. Superb food and fantastic staff! Dining became more enjoyable because of our interactions with the staff. The patio was beautiful though social distancing was not observed. Had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back.

This restaurant has a lovely patio for outside dining. Waiters are in white tuxedo jackets. Very formal but not stuffy. The food is excellent. Menu is written on a white board , which the waiter brings to your table. My blue crab avocado mango appetizer...was delicious. My lobster dinner consists of a whole lobster, skillfully prepared and presented beautifully. My husband had Dover Sole and he said it was good though not as good as my lobster. Their Grand Marnier soufflé was very light and airy.More

I cannot find anything bad to say about this restaurant. I had a crab salad followed by halibut and veggies followed by pear tarte and espresso. Delightful. Lovely servers save the sommelier who seems to have had happier days. Raymond worth a commendation for being...so helpful. Wine list is extensive and expensive. There is the option to bring your own but the corkage fee is steep. Maybe that whole area could be improved. Probably the nicest restaurant ive been to in Palm Springs. It is a bit French but more California French, so dont feel you have to eat the escargot.More

There is nothing - NOTHING - like Le Vallauris. It is the quintessential fine PS dining experience. Thank God it reopened after a long year long Covid absence. It truly defines the glamour of Old Palm Springs. The food is, of course, delicious. Our favorites...are the escargot, the filet, the lobster ravioli and the Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. The service is perfection - you will be greeted warmly - served unobtrusively and Bruce (the sommelier) will make spot on recommendations. Though the bar can be counted on to issue puts the best cosmos!!! (We ask for Gray Goose and Cointreau:) The Managenent is wonderful and warm - and if you are lucky, you’ll see Paul and Omar - the long-time owners table-side to greet you. Willie, the fabulous captain, may greet you as well - as he did last week when he took my mother’s arm and gently led her to the table. But, did I mention the terrace? It may be among the most beautiful terraces in the West - truly - no exaggeration. It twinkles at night and offers a grand settling - under the specimen ficus trees - with filtered sunlight. Do yourself a favor and experience this phenomenal restaurant when you visit PS —— dint wait for a special occasion - oh and it’s never stuffy - only elegant - we even wear nice shorts if the weather is hot (of course with dress shirts and even a sports coat.)More

This is an excellent restaurant. The outdoor seating area is very private, and the indoor dining room is also lovely. Plan in advance, as they often book out a week in advance. Excellent food. Be sure to ask the sommelier for his wine recommendation. We...loved what he recommended. We chose the fixed price menu, and we were not disappointed. Plan on two hours or more, and they never rush you. A wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy excellent food with a delicate balance of flavors and combinations. The fact that it is also located in an historic home, adds to the unique atmosphere.More

One of our long-time favorites, Le Vallauris did not measure up this time! Soup, bland and salad, mediocre. Main courses, acceptable but not memorable. All six in our party were disappointed. Maybe the virus or the ownership change were at fault, but regardless, the high...costs cannot be justified. So sad!More
