Wife and I went there for Friday night dinner. Small cozy restaurant in back of the hotel behind the pool. At first I had some trouble finding it. Dining is on the first floor and the rooftop. Ground floor dining was small, probably accommodates 30...patrons. Not sure of upstairs since it was closed for a wedding but staff told me about 30 to 40 people. We were told that the roof top is the place to be although downstairs was very nice. All the staff was super accommodating and friendly. Tables were dressed very smart. The chef came around offering patrons fried scallops which were delicious. Fresh fish comes in daily from up north. The maitre d' was engaging and kept addressing us by our names, to give you an idea how small it is. The entree range ran from $35 to $45. Food was delicious although I could have used a bigger portion. There were some interesting people at this level. My wife loved it. The hotel is billed as an adults only facility. There is something similar with the restaurant, but I don't exactly recall. I would highly recommend.More

Azucar has a quintessential Palm Springs lovely ambiance, sadly, the food is disappointing and the front desk staff two days later completely turned us off when we were in the neighborhood with friends visiting from the east coast - and asked if we can come...in and take a quick look at the dinning area near the pool (this is around 9pm). The front desk staff was arrogant, condescending and pretentious. We will not be back.More

We had stopped going here during Covid as the menu had become limited and things just weren’t like they used to be. However, we just returned last week and had one of the best meals there ever. The service was exceptional and the food was...just as good. My wife and our friend had the blood orange margarita which they loved and the bartender made me a blood orange Mocktail that was delicious. The chips, salsa and guacamole combination is solid and the house salad was excellent. But in particular we had the poblano chile rellenos which are not to be missed. The indoor dining room is intimate and beautifully lit with excellent art and not a lot of tables, so very comfortable and quiet. The outside dining around the pool is equally as elegant. We give this our highest recommendation.More

My husband and I dined here for our anniversary last September. The food was outstanding as well as the service. The cocktails were excellent. For our appetizer we had the sweet potato fries. My husband had the swordfish and I had the beef tenderloin. Both...meals were outstanding. Can’t wait to go back the next time we are in town.More

Beautiful beautiful venue. Speechless beautiful. It is worth special events. It is located in a very fancy and yet tastefully decorated villas only luxurious boutique hotel. The space is Spanish colonial revival style. The restaurant is in front of the hotel pool and it has...a second floor which is even more beautiful with an amazing fireplace. We had dinner there and it was so romantic. Cocktails are to die for. We typically don’t like Mexican food but we were so blown away by the food! Even the shrimp cocktail and guacamole and chips were delicious. For mains we had crab stuffed peppers and scallops. Very flavorful.More

We held Rehearsal Dinner for 33 on upstairs outdoor patio of Azucar called Sugar High. Great food choices and served hot, delicious and by friendly servers. Outdoor setting was magical for non California guests and lounge seating added to the special event. But you want...great food and we got great food. Event manager made sure everything went smoothly.More

Delicious food and amazing service! We ate here multiple times during our stay in Palm Springs. Loved the beef tenderloin and cauliflower risotto one night and the scallops and house salad another. The Ahi Bruschetta was delicious, as well. Good portions, great flavors and amazing...drinks (must try the Pomplemousse Spritz).More
