On the wharf there is a surfeit of places selling the same sort of candy and seafood restaurants (understandable) but this place is a breath of fresh air if you just want. A bite to eat and a recharge. Very clean, nice style and friendly staff. We got tea coffee and sandwiches, they don’t have a large food selection but it makes sense given the competition nearby.

We only stopped in for coffee but were intrigued by the individual care given to each order. And to see how they brew tea! It almost made me wish I was a tea drinker.

Nice Coffee/Tea Place with Snacks on Fisherman Wharf - Water and Leaves

For a nice cup of tea, we went to Water and Leaves. Its on the Fisherman Wharf area of Monterey. Service was good.

Bad service bad coffee

Terrible service. Not kind. Coffee tasted cheap and hot chocolate didn’t tasted like hot chocolate... hours aren’t accurate either which is even worse. Unfortunate cause it’s a cool concept by the water.

Rude baristas and gross coffee

The workers here act like they hate their lives. Said the bare minimum and acted like me being there was the worst part of their day lol. She even had both of her air pods in so maybe she just didn’t even hear me talking haha. I got an iced vanilla latte. They didn’t have vanilla just sugar free vanilla. Espresso was bitter and just overall did not enjoy this drink. Won’t come here again :(

Poor Service.. they make you pay card and there is a service fee for it.

At first the service was fine, I had bought a cup of coffee for my wife.. a few minutes later the cup was leaking through the bottom and so we returned hoping to get a new cup. There was another couple inside and we were asked to wait outside until they were finished (their Covid protocol) well they only had one attendant for the whole place working register and barista. So we just decided to leave after a few minutes of waiting (our group was waiting on us). I ended up getting a cup from another shop at the beginning of the wharf with great service. I had been here once before and it was poor service then, this was me giving a second chance.. definitely won’t go back.

Sloppy service at quiet lunch time on Fisherman's wharf

Sloppy service, only half an order remembered. 2 trips back to counter needed to get just a couple of coffees and a couple of snacks. Assistant too busy fiddling with their phone to serve customers. Not surprising cafe was empty. We certainly wouldn't give it even 1 star.

Inconsistent hours

There’s always something going on at this place. Someone is always not there or there’s an emergency. It’s never open when it says it is. I like this place but I’ve given up at going here. I’ve been let down too many times to even try buying from here.

Really good coffee with a small, but nice bay side viewing area.

The name is deceiving, but yes they do serve coffee. they also specialize in several local honeys. Very clean place located on Old Fisherman's Wharf. Good place to get your morning coffee before Whale watching

Beautiful little tea and coffee room

Our first visit as we were strolling along the wharf. Very clean and inviting inside. The staff was quite friendly and assisted us in our selections from the organic, local ,sustainable menu. Coffee and tea were delicious. The pastries looked inviting however we did resist our temptation this time.

Lovely tea room

A great spot for a cup of tea/coffee and grabbing a pastry/snack for breakfast/morning break. They had plenty of choice and a fancy tea machine the likes of which I've not seen before, to brew thr tea before it gets to the tea pot. A lovely location along the pier and a clean and fresh interior, matching the welcoming and friendly staff.

Excellent Latte and Croissant

I headed straight here after whale watching. The latte was outstanding and just what I needed to cap off a wonderful experience. I had an almond croissant, also very fresh and tasty. Lovely place to sit in the sun on the wharf. They also have a nice quiet place to sit in the back overlooking the water. They have an impressive offering of local honey!

Adorable, conscientious, and delicious

The baristas are on their A game. The scrumptious croissants are delectable and the view is great. We went on our way in to Big Sur and again before hitting the highway back south. Sea otters playing out back, seals playing out front, cool underwater diving birds, boats, and people watching with all the sounds you’d expect in the bay. Love.

Terrible coffee

First I must say that the ladies working there were courteous and helpful. However the coffee tasted weak and terrible. It was expensive too, one size (small) $2.95. If you want good coffee, go somewhere else.

Great Latte

Found this place while walking on Fishermans Wharf . Great find latte was fantastic & was cool watching the way they make their tea. Cute inside & had a little seating area outside for water view
