There aren't many breakfast option in the Joshua Tree area, and this is a nice healthy one. There are a few tables out front, and no seating inside. It is a vegetarian restaurant (not that there is anything wrong with that, I just didn't see...it anywhere, so it was unexpected when I was reading over the menu). The staff were friendly and prompt when bringing your orders outside, and we both enjoyed our meals.
The only complaint we had was that we thought it was a bit expensive for breakfast food.More
Deserts in the summer are hot. Smoothies are cold. Need I say more? I will to meet the minimum character requirement. Seriously though, after spending a morning at Joshua Tree NP, the smoothies at this place seriously hit the spot. It's also conveniently located near...all of the little roadside attractions in the area.More
Yummy black bean burger! We went back for a second visit to get this. They also have juices and smoothies and their desserts (carrot cake and salted caramel chocolate cake) was delicious. Their food is fresh, they provide abundant hot sauce, and also the place...is safe! My friend misplaced her wallet and a customer turned it in. You can count on vegans to do good. LolMore
An oasis in the midst of fast food chains, Natural Sister Cafe is delightful. They offer a wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan options. It is a causal joint, with a walk up counter where you place your order, then take a number to your...table. I had the black bean and avocado burger, which was tasty. They also have a variety of breakfast items and sandwiches, plus a few additional "hot plates." I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in the Joshua Tree area!More
