Metro was close to the hotel where I was staying, I only went there as it was within walking distance.
It did not look promising and boy was I wrong!
i ordered at the outside to go window, I was the only one in line that ordered in English, fortunately the staff speaks English as well.
I had a chicken Quesadilla which was outstanding. The chicken was tender and very tasty, the sauces they offered (choice of 3) were all great.
Bottom line, if you are in the area and like Mexican food give it a try, you won't go wrong.

Chile verde burrito. Carne asada and shrimp burrito. Carne Asada enchiladas. All excellent. Door dash delivery. Salsa is like a nice pico and guacamole was fresh. All were excellent

This was an outstanding lunch. Fresh flavorful ingredients. Ample portions. The Chile verde burrito was excellent, carne asada burrito, shrimp and steak burrito, shrimp burrito and pollo salad bowl were the offerings we had. All were very good. The delivery time was minimal. Would absolutely recommend

The Al Pastor tacos were very good and the Supreme Carnitas burrito was ok, the staff was very friendly, I will go back and try some of their other options next time.

Delicious burrito with carne asada while visiting on business from the PAC Northwest. I also had a beer batter fish taco that blew my socks off, the corn tortillas slightly fried to perfection, still pliable but with a slight crunch. Will be eating here again soon!

This is an order at the counter, pay and pick up when your number is called, no wait staff. Not authentic, but okay. Burritos were tasty, the chips were very good and a wide variery of salsas; mild to very hot! The place has eating inside and ouside, metal counter tops, cushioned seat tops, fairly clean until customers drop food on the floor. Overall a clean place to have a meal. I was disappointed while eating, an employee came around with a spray bottle to clean tables. that spray travels, I had to cover my food until she was finished. Next she came around sweeping the floor. I was too out done! How do you enjoy your food when people are cleaning up around you. That disturbed me. Otherwise an okay experience. I tried it, now you check it out for yourself!

I stop at Metro before going to watch a movie at the local movie theater. You can purchase the most delicious tacos and tortas at a bargain price. They also serve aguas frescas.

The food here isn't bad, but not great either. It's pretty standard Mexican grub. It's conveniently in the heart of downtown Hayward and next to the theater, which is convenient.

This place began as a food truck, always parked on a corner near our (previous) home. They got a regular building after a few years, and it's been crowded ever since. Great burritos and plenty more, and small tables perfect for a personal chat.
Recently they opened a second location by movie theater downtown.

This place used to be the bomb, yeah used to be. Now it is okay, the locals seem to like it judging on the lines. But they have lost that traditional Mexican flavor to appeal to?? They have a great selection of food. Fast service. Good, but not the best around.

The place is small seems a little dirty. The staff is not good at verifying your order is complete so make sure you verify before leaving. The chicken tacos were very good. I only gave them 3 stars because their carne asada fries were not very good and made me extremely sick. I also bought some flan which was very nasty. Its fairly cheap so thats good but I would make sure I am eating their food at home as throwing up at your place of business is an inconvenience.

I've been craving a seriously good Mexican meal for quite some time. We knew that Metro was up town but hadn't thought about trying it until last night. OMG!! Absolutely the best Mexican food I've had in ages (aside from what we ate in Mexico last year). I had the Metro bowl with chicken. Absolutely delicious. My husband had a steak burrito as did my son in law. My daughter had a steak torta. Everyone raved about how good it was. It's cafeteria style where you order at the register and then they call your number when it's ready. The prices are very reasonable. We were all in agreement, we will definitely go there again and again. Also, it's right next to the theatre, so it's convenient to pop in before or after a movie. They have outside seating too! A great addition to our city. I highly recommend going.
