I plugged in Japanese in my GPS and it took me here, to Haha Ramen Sushi. A nice little surprise in the middle of downtown Hayward.
Not a bad little place, especially since I got uber lucky with a parking spot right out front. The menu is good with both hot and cold, raw and cooked offerings.
For my take away order, I got some edamame [which was a huge container for a nice small price], and Katsu chicken. They were helpful with the curry on the side so it wasn't soggy by the time I got back to the hotel.
The chicken was nice and hot (not spicy), came with a side of rice and a very pleasantly mild curry sauce. One of my favorite curries is from a place in Los Angeles and I have to admit, this is now a strong second.
There is plenty of seating for in house dinning, along with a full bar and a fridge full of non alcoholic drinks.
The service is good, fast and reliable.
There is plenty of free parking across the street in a lot or if you're lucky you'll find a space right out front of their shop. They are closed on Tues as I found out the hard way when I went back to eat there the second day.
For a good meal with a little price tag stop in to Haha Ramen Sushi next time you're going though Hayward. you won't be disappointed.

I had fried CA roll and rahmen - all good quality and tasty. Nothing fancy but good taste.

Good local spot. I usually drive to Union City/Fremont to get my fix. Average broth, average everything.

Love to eat here. The cuts of fish are generous and fresh. We enjoy the rolls and the fish. Bare bones service, however the food is masterfully prepared. You will not be disappointed with the fish and rolls. My partner likes the ramen, I have not made it past the sushi.

We went here to eat while in Hayward for it was on the same road as our hotel. Food was good and so was the service. They have a good variety of dishes to choose from

The ramen soups and broths were amazing, however the service needed a facelift, aside from the fact that our waiter seemed to be exhausted, which though I did feel bad for him, I didn't hve a problem with it, the demeanor in which he was talking to me and my family and how long it took for us to be served compared to other customers seemed to be a bit odd, I want to give him the benefit of the doubt that thus wasn't fueled from the color of my skin, I sue hope it's not.

We came here for a quick bite before going to the movies, we ordered the chicken ramen, Mala ramen, chicken and beef teriyaki bento and the miso ramen. For a few dollars more you can add some sushi with your ramen. One of us ordered the spicy hamachi roll and I ordered the sake (salmon) and avocado roll. Everything was tasty and hot, good for a cold night in Hayward! Can't wait to come back and try something else. The chicken and beef teriyaki meet were tender. Prices are reasonable and the service was quick.
