My wife and I stayed at the Oslob Whale Shark Resort for a few days. It was a good decision to stay there. The family owned resort was clean, friendly and had direct access to the ocean. The sound of the ocean waves lulled me...to sleep each night. The price of the room included a breakfast each day. The restaurant across from the resort was convenient and tasty. The Filipino pork bbq was juicy and tender. I highly recommend experiencing both for a true Cebuano hospitality experience.More

MUST TRY in Oslob, good service, good food and accommodating people. I highly recommend. Location is very good just along the road they also have a resort just across the street.

Spent my valentines dinner here, as usual I’m always back for the chicken barbecue and the pork barbecue. Must try when you’re around oslob

I generally find Philipino food no t so much to my taste. It's heavy on the meat and everything is drowned in oil. This place was no different to most others. The BBQ was tasty and the meat grilled, so a plus in my book....However the stir fried vegetables got the treatment despite my request that the kitchen should go easy on the oil. Pick up a forkfull and the oil just dribbled back onto the plate. The servings were not large and although of medium cost, all things taken into account serving si,e, quality of preparation, and service this place was just slightly less than average compared to similar in any other SEAsian country, say Thailand or Indonesia. However, and this is a big BUT, this is only one of two eateries in town where I would class the food as edible. Generally the "cuisine" available in Oslib is outrafeously overpriced absolutely terrible. Stick to fruit and steam your own veggies. If uou can't do that one meal here one at Le Bistro and get out!More

We stayed at the hotel across the road. We loved the BBQ Pork. We ordered a couple set meal. Because the BBQ Pork was so yummy, we ordered extra.

So my husband was tired of pizza and hamburgers during our trip and wanted something more local. We ordered the set for 4 people and it included plenty of meat for 2 adults and 2 kids (11&14). It came with 4 ice teas which we...gave to our kids and we ordered beer. The only thing I warn you is about how far it is from the market. We took a tuk tuk there around 6 and finished around 7. We could not find a tuk tuk back and almost had to walk 2.2 miles back. Luckily there was a very friendly family singing karaoke and it only took my husband a few drinks and a song with them for a ride back.More

We enjoyed the food and service in Brice. The Chicken BBQ was a big hit for my children in-fact one of my sons had to have 2 leg quarters just to satisfy him. We also had pork BBQ, calamares, grilled fresh squid & fish, which...was likewise very good. On our 2nd night staying at the Oslob Whale Shark Resort, We just had to go back to Brice for another round of Chicken & Pork BBQ(my son having 2 leg quarters again). This time there was “fresh catch of the day”, so we had Fish Tinowa, Adobong pusit, & Chili buttered garlic prawns. Everything was superb and served hot.More

Food was great! A hungry tummy full and satisfied! Best bbq place in town! Not to mention the reasonable prices for a well kept pocket. Must visit when in Oslob ❤️

After reading reviews and talking to a couple who previously visited Brice BBQ, I was very optimistic for an above average Philippines restaurant experience... sadly I was let down, repeatedly. I really wanted it to be good... but it’s just boring. First, I was disappointed...with the selection of meat available. It’s pretty much pork or chorizo on a stick, or a chicken breast. No pork chops, no beef, or ribs. Not even really any interesting side dishes (packet frozen french fries) you would expect with a BBQ. The flavour is OK if you like the one sauce (honey-teriyaki kinda sauce) they cover everything with, no variation and I think this was where I felt most let down... just boring. I ordered 3 dishes to see if there would be any difference... i’ll save you the expense, there was none. Maybe they keep it simple for the staff, who, the server while nice was inattentive. Only ever visiting the table to take my order and deliver food, no follow up service, like second drinks, asking about the food, or to deliver the bill. He made me get up to pay him at the bar... but again, this is pretty much the Filipino standard in Cebu. My meal was around P550. All-in-all I think the food vendors at the Oslob night market has more variation and flavours than Brice.. and is less expensive. * I was also sad to see on an island with a trash problem, they are not using bottled beer which are cleaned and reused by the brewery. They serve aluminium cans that end up in the trash.More

The staff were very friendly and the owner, Sir Kevin was very approachable too! This is a must-visit place when you happen to pass by Oslob or around the area.

Me and my friends went in Oslob for a bday celebration. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating. And our plan to get fish in the market wasn't viable anymore, since seafood's prices go up when theres a storm or something. So we asked the locals where...we could eat good seafood and somehow affordable. They recommended Brice's place. I must say, the food there was awesome. Especially the pork bbq. The staff and Sir Kevin, the owner, were all accomodating and friendly. He also had a nice chat with us. We'll definitely eat here again when we go back in Oslob.More

Loved the BBQ. It was perfectly cooked with lovely sauce. Will surely come back, as it is worth it for the price.
