The food was really not good for the price specially the dessert. The last time I was here was 7 years ago and I think it was much better then.

It's our first time to dine in here last Nov 20. I am so disappointed with one of the employees (Russel A*** was her name), she's accusing us taking pictures with the menu. We cannot decide what to eat yet and we are checking the...menu first since one of the waiters gave it to us the moment she saw us but she's harrasing us to get our orders already and take the menu with here. Ended up choosing 2 dishes only. 👎👎👎More

When in Cagayan de Oro one of the go to restaurants is Kagayanon. It serves very good filipino food at a reasonable price. The presentation makes the food more enticing to the eyes. What could be improved is the decor of the restaurant. It needs...ia refurbish as it looks outdated.More

Situated near (2 km) the rock temple of Dambulla Anon Rest offers accommodation for travelers stopping over after visiting the temple. The area is quite big, two buildings with rooms, a restaurant and a swimming pool – highlight of this place. Our room was big,...equipped with a fan, although AC rooms are also available though not absolutely necessary in the areas climate. The beds had new mattresses, no mosquito nets. Neither the room nor the bathroom was clean, sheets were ok. The shower worked but plumbing was quite worn down. The door to our room closed only when locked. We were astonished to find a water kettle as well as tea and coffee provided. There was a small balcony facing the other building and we had very amusing visits from several monkeys. WiFI was working well. Breakfast would have nearly doubled the room rate so we decided to skip it, there are some reasonable restaurants on the street. The town centre of Dambulla is about 3 km away. The pool is not big but well kept and nice for adults and children, pleasant to jump in after visiting the rock caves. Buses to Kandy stop just opposite the hotel, very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful all the time. In summary, this place offers quite cheap accommodation when taking into account that there is a pool. The rooms are not worth the money, the pool is. For a one-night stopover it did fit for us, we would not stay longer.More

Kagay-anon is one of the well- known restaurant I've been in Cagayan de Oro. The food tastes good and the presentation looks appetizing, but serving size is small. Another good thing is that the place is spacious and clean, but the service is below average....Servers are not attentive. Also, it took longer than what they said for the food to be served. Considering the serving size, serving time and efficiency of the waiters, I find this restaurant pricey.More

The Kagay-Anon restaurant is situated adjacent to the Limketkai Luxe Hotel in downtown Cagayan de Oro. It’s a very local restaurant with many seafood, beef and ostrich meat offerings. Try their adobong pursit, bangus with chilli and garlic toppings, bulalo, pinakbet and fried ostrich meat...to name a few of their delicious offerings !!! This restaurant is worth a visit but do book beforehand.More

Their crocodile meat and ostrich tapa were very uncommon to my taste but exceptionally delightful. Of course my forever favorites crispy pata, pakbet and kare-kare are still very popular and most preferred by most diners.

The seafood dishes were really good. Ask for the dish which is cooked in bamboo. Best to get the buko for a drink. Also go for the fresh fruit shakes and steer clear of the cucumber lemonade - too sweet and seems like it was...made from powdered concentrate.More

When around Limketkai, this place is worth visiting. Kagay-anon Soup is good and most of its seafood dishes. Cucumber Lemonade is too sweet though and not worth your money. Better order some Buko.
