Me and my boyfriend tried their new place in Ayala Malls Legazpi, it was very vibrant, the atmosphere was also very relaxing. The staff was accommodating and approachable too. We ordered burger which has generous amount of our chosen fillings plus the spicy wings! Plus we had the root beer with vanilla ice cream on top. Will probably go back.

Their burgers are to die for! They're big, juicy, flavorful and so delicious it melts in your mouth!
You can also personally select the ingredients you want in your burger via electronic selection (so cool!), and they'll make it for you!
Cost: P190 for a custom cheese beef burger with barbeque sauce and fries.

I fancied a bit of western fare after two weeks of local cuisine so paid this a visit based on TripAdvisor reviews. It is nearby the City Hall in the Old Town area on the main Rizal Street strip. The place is small, with a basic but clean layout, it looks like a shared premises between DIY and a tea bar. You can have your burger a la carte or build your own - the prices are a little expensive when compared with local fare but not outrageous. My burger was ok - it was a bit drowned in mustard but the patty was decent quality and the bread was fresh. If I fancy a burger again in Legazpi I will probably go back.

It appears that DIY Burgers is no longer in business, at least it disappeared from Ayala Mall some months ago. I haven't seen or heard about it since then.

I am from the US and am traveling in the Philippines for a total of 3 months. While I do love to eat the local food, there are times when a bit of comfort food, such as a nice burger, goes along way in satisfying the cravings you get for home food. With this in mind we headed to DIY burger to check it out. I definitely enjoyed my buffalo chicken burger and thought that they were on the right track to replicating an American Classic. It came with a good portion of chunky fries and at 200 php I felt that it was good value for money. In SEA in general it is tough to find good western food but DIY burger gets very close to the mark. Would return to try out the beef burgers, which would be the true test

The burgers are extremely good, I noticed some reviews to be very bad but they probably didn't read the menu well since some burgers had blue cheese in it and if you are not use to it, you might think the burger is no good but that is your loss. The drinks are excellent as well.

This place is tiny and you wouldn't notice it unless you were looking but damn do they know how to do a burger. Now let me start by saying if you're one of those obnoxious westerners that are expecting this to be on the same level as you're favourite burger joint at home, then take a step back and realise where you are, the price you're paying and don't expect the world's greatest burger cause you won't get it.
However, what you will get is one of the best burgers I've eaten throughout all of south East Asia. The pattie is flavoursome and meaty, the toppings are well sourced and thought out, the price is extremely fair (and includes fries) and this is a bloody good burger if you're craving a good sloppy meat feast. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and albeit small, the restaurant is quirky and clean.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed here so go in and give these guys a go. They are doing a fine job and I suspect they are only going to get better.

This "do-it-yourself" burger house along Rizal St, Legazpi City has a good interior. It's small and cozy.
Food is fine. It's filling. You may also create your own burger. You may choose from the list of ingredients to make your own.
Price range, approx. PhP120 to PhP350 per meal.

We went here just this January 2, 2016 with my boyfriend to try this new place. The place is small so you won't really notice it the first time. It is beside a laundry shop along J.P. Rizal St.
The place looks nice but can be improved with a little more decor on the walls. Hopefully they can also get the place bigger to make it more cozy.
The only thing I don't like about the place is it is side by side with tea brew. And I personally don't think milk tea is very much compatible with burgers, though they still have milkshakes and carbonated drinks on their tea brew menu.
They have nice burgers and it tastes good. Though when you eat your burger, everything becomes so sloppy. Their burgers are juicy that once you slice on them the wax paper covering the japanese looking small tray where they plate their burgers just rips apart easily. If you're not careful, you may just eat the wax paper along with your burger. You don't want that right? I wish they change the way they plate their burgers. It looks plain and boring. Their plating should go well with how their place looks.
Our order took more than 30 minutes before it arrived. I think they forgot to cook ours because they served the other table instantly that just came in and placed their orders. Good thing I was busy with a conversation with my boyfriend that I didn't notice how long we waited until they gave us complimentary fries to make up for the waiting time we had to endure. I appreciated the gesture since not most establishments do that. Often they say sorry and deliver your order.
Over all their service and the way they treat their customers is great. The food is good but they should add more drink options in their menu that is best paired with burgers. The place is small but looks nice though they just need to add a little more decor to make it perfect.
If anyone is looking for some nice burgers in Legazpi City then you should definitely visit this place.

Ever have the feeling that something was wrong, out-of-place, didn’t quite feel the way it should? My first bite of a DIY Burger hit that note. My initial impression was that one of the toppings (mayo, ketchup, mustard) had an off taste. I got about half way through when I stopped eating; it was just one of the worst burgers I have ever had. Was it the meat? I cut a piece off, scraped away the topping and tried it. Hmmm, how to describe? I have never tried dog meat, but this is how I imagine Fido would taste if you ground him up and put him on a bun. “Nice dogs, hard to cook.” I simply do not believe this is imported USA meat. No way.
Trip advisor reviewers have a poor record when it comes to Hamburgers. They love to claim some dubious little Weird Burger is among the best places to eat. Here is list showing the correct ratings for several burger joints which have received good reviews:
#1: 8 Cuts Burger Blends (formerly Burger Bar) Greenbelt 2 Mall and other locations, Manila: Despite the awkward name this is the best burger I have had in the Philippines. Get the 1/3 pound size.
#2 Ray’s Grille, Vientiane, Laos: Lines outside every day are a testimonial for this fun spot to indulge your burger cravings.
#3: Black Burger, Kuta, Bali. This overrated little dive has an adequate burger, nothing more.
#4: DIY Burger, Legazpi, Philippines: Arf! Arf!

Hi. I was pretty disappointed. I think the meat is local, probably from grass-fed cattle. The burger is expensive, and came with undercooked fries. The toppings were ok, but the quality of the meat was below average, so the toppings didn't make up the difference. I wouldn't recommend a special trip there.

I saw this was on the top on TA (for legazpi city that is), so i immediately told my friend that we should try it here, so we did. I had the hangover burger and my friend had the yankee burger, both burgers were delicious, and the rsc drinks we had were awesome too, definitely worth the calories. Although i had some problems with the place because it was a bit dirty.

I hail from the USA, home of the Hamburger. (and yes, I know they technically started in Germany, but unless you are eating something that looks like a Salisbury Steak, you're eating the American reincarnation of the meal.)
If I had a taste for food like they make it at home, then I eat here. The prices are reasonable for a meal that would easily meet the standards of my home country. Now, if only I could find a Chicago Style Hot Dog....

we immediately tried this joint since it was number 1 in TA. i ordered d one wd mozarella and the buffalo chken burger, both wer good but not extraordinary. i just thnk it doesnt deserve to be in the top spot of legazpi considering there are more that the place can offer than average burgers. but overall the quality of meat and blend of sauces is a thumbs up 👍🏼
