The place is pretty, and as many would describe it, is IG-worthy. The food is good, but a little pricey for me. Had a bad experience of ordering dessert, which THEY FORGOT, until we followed up 30 minutes after, and they said the order was not relayed to the kitchen, and would take another 20 minutes to prepare, so we had to just cancel it. Other than that, service is ok.

We were supposed to go to another restaurant in the area, but we couldn't find it and we ended up in this restaurant. I really didn't mind discovering and trying out new places, especially one like Voi La, which has a beautiful ambiance and a good selection of food. As we stepped into this restaurant I was immediately impressed with its decors, furniture, colorful lanterns, and so forth. Not bad at all, I said to myself. Then I skimmed over its menu. It had a good selection of Italian, Spanish, Thai and Filipino dishes. My expectations were really high, considering that they were quite expensive. It's fine, I said, since you pay not only for the food, but for the ambiance, too. Well, the foods didn't disappoint, except that I found the servings rather small. Everything would have been forgiveable, but then our dining experience was dampened by a couple of things. First, service was too slow. Second, the waiters were not as accommodating as they should be. They were nowhere to be found near our table and I had to rise many times just to look for them and call their attention. I asked for an extra fork and I had to ask for it thrice before they brought me one. The same thing happened when I asked again for the menu. The waiter serving us also took forever to give us the bill when we asked for it. Hayz! In the end, out of our dissatisfaction for such a lousy service, we decided not to leave them any tip. It's a pity that a lovely place with good food would have such a terrible customer service. I don't think I'd be returning to this restaurant any time soon. Besides, they have a perennial problem with their parking lot. =(

We have eaten in this restaurant before and this review was actually our 3rd visit. The past two visits were okay (not spectacular), there was the usual queue but we enjoyed our lunch so we came back for a 3rd. We are from Manila and Tagaytay has always our family's favorite quick get-away. Our most recent lunch at Cafe Voi La was very disappointing!! We waited too long this time even when we can see there are vacant tables. I was with my family (we are six) including my 77-year old mother and 2-year old grand daughter but that did not make them "rush" the service. The Maitre d' kept telling us the table will be ready soon so we kept waiting. When our table was ready and finally ordered food, it took forever to have our foods served. I thought maybe because the restaurant is busy that's why it took long to cook but two of our orders were already served cold. I knew then that the food were just lying idly at the counter waiting to be served. One of our orders was even mistakenly not taken so I just cancelled it. This restaurant used to be my favorite this part of town but that visit will be our last one.

Good ambiance overall with wide selection of Filipino, Spanish, Thai and a little bit of American cuisine but food is expensive with small serving and taste is just ordinary. We just want to highlight how attentive, courteous and friendly their waiters are. And we were deceived by the bottled waters in the table haha! I thought that this is their service water given the pandemic but i was wrong. Always ask if unsure

Shout out to John and the bartender for amazing service! Truthfully, the service was the best part. John was so friendly and hospitable. I came here with my boyfriend, my sister, and her fiancé. The menu features a good variety of different Asian foods. We collectively ordered spring rolls, bok choy, a grilled cheese, and Bistek Tagalog. I wish I had taken pictures because the food looked as good as it tasted. I would absolutely come back here if I were to ever visit Crosswinds again. Prices were unbeatable, not to mention the extremely well-made fruit margaritas!

Everything is just slow, and overpriced. The food is just plain mediocre. The serving size was ultimately small. The restaurant's name is in French, but does not serve French cuisine. They however serves English, American, Filipino, Mexican, and Chinese food. The staff makes you seat in an old sofa. I'm not really sure what the theme is. But all I can say is that, they failed. And yes, they have water bottles already available in the table. Which will make you think that is free, but they'll charge you afterwards lol. Will not go here again. Hopefully, they change things here since this is in Tagaytay.

There are some good dishes but not all of them are exemplary. The prices are way off the scale for what you get. The presentation is what you pay for most of the time. P700 plus for 3 tiny sticks of satay? Seriously, not worth what you pay for as the sauces are not all that great and miss the mark. Enjoyed the kare-kare as it was not typical, the steamed Thai custard was pretty bad as it seemed to have been reheated. The papaya salad was good and plentiful as it was fluffed up with a lot of lettuce, the phad thai was ok. The ambiance is really great as a lot were brought in from Thailand so it gave a very nice and pretty look. We enjoyed the salted caramel cheese cake very much. Overall, too much money for what you get.

It was lunch date with my s.o. Brought him to Tagaytay since it’s also his first time at there. Great location with great views. Going back to our lunch at Cafe Voi La. After a tiring stroll around the area, we decided to have our lunch here. Nice location since the other stores/restaurants are situated alongside Crosswinds’ steep road. It also had an old European vibe due to the design of the cafe itself plus the music. There’s only 1 staff who greeted or acknowledged our arrival/presence when we got here, the rest were looking at us from our head to toe as if we were like vagrants or non-paying guests. We weren’t expecting anything from the team and we don’t know what’s going on or where they’re coming from but, they could use some hospitality considering we’re also a fellow Filipino. I worked in the hospitality industry since 2013 in & out of the country and also an advocate of customer experience ever since, that’s how I can tell. Anyhow, we didn’t mind it at all ‘coz like I’ve said, we don’t know where the staff were coming from or everyone must have a tough/rough day. We ordered a few items from their menu and we weren’t disappointed. Expect the items to be pricey but, it’s worth trying out. Food was delish. Their fresh fruit shake could use a bit more liquid or fluid, for it was somehow stiff or a bit too icy. But regardless, me and my partner had a good time at Cafe Voi La. A place to recommend for couples and even families.

A very pleasant dining experience. My wife and I visited Cafe Voi La for lunch today. We were greeted by an employee who escorted us to the dining area where we chose our table. We were promptly attended to by a waiter who brought us menus and water. We were then brought the drinks of our choice while we looked through their extensive menu. Once we placed our order, we were then served a light snack and a delicious bowl of pumpkin soup. My latte was delicious and my wife's fruit juice was served chilled and fresh. In what seemed a short amount of time our orders were served. The presentation was very well done, and all the food items were fresh, hot and delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked and was tender, juicy and a quality cut of beef without sinew or gristle. The staff and management were all friendly, smiling and very attentive to our needs. Our overall dining experience was positive, and one we will remember as we look forward to our next trip to this unique and well-run restaurant.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. They dont have service water unusual for resto serving food. Their serving sizes was enough for one but the price is so expensive! We were paying in credit card and was advised that it was offline or there was no signal. I insisted to pay in credit card since they did not notify us that cc was not allowed. My husband also requested if we could eat the pie that we brought along since the food was not yer ssrved and my husband also informed them that we were diabetics. We were not allowed to eat the pie. Never again to dine here and would also tell friends about our experience.

Coffee was good. Food - nothing spectacular. There were a few IG-worthy spots in the restaurant. We were hungry so we decided to dine here instead of waiting in line at the Ruined Project. Went here on a weekday afternoon and there were very few customers at the time. Service was very slow despite only less than 5 tables occupied.

Went to Tagaytay for a few days. Saw a few reviews recommending the place, the food and ambience did not disappoint. The selections were reasonably priced, serving portions were also very good. Fragrant and great coffee too. We picked a overlooking spot in the verandah, it was a nice cozy moment in November.

Came here for second time. Had tom yang gung and phad thai noodle, kare kare beef and callos. With rice. Overall the theme of restaurant was good, service was good but the soup had no heat and not sour enough as thai soup should be. The rest will pass. It is quite pricey though.

The F&B was alright, although not exactly fantastic. It was also somewhat costly. However, what won us over was the service. The staff members were excellent - prompt, friendly, helpful. The kids also liked the decor in the restaurant. We enjoyed our mid-morning coffee break there.

Was here for desserts, loved the interior and crowdless table on a weekday visit. The place exude foreign vibe. Surely, the interiors were topnotch! Drinks and desserts are average, nothing wow.
