My first time trying out a true Japanese Cuisine. I really don’t know what to expect as often I dine on either Filipino or Chinese dishes. We tried Salmon Sushi and Rainbow Maki and it was perfect. For the noodles i tried Aozora Ramen which...was inspired from Bulalo, there are plenty of ingredients placed but the taste was kind of a bit dull. Service was good and fast so it didn’t take that much of a time servingMore

Whenever we visit Tagaytay, we always dine in our favorite Japanese resto, Aozora. We love it because of the authentically Japanese cuisine, cozy ambience and the accomodating staff. We always order their famous Bulalo ramen, Tonkatsu, Tempura and Dragon Maki.

I had lunch here with my family. The food was good (Aozora Ramen is a must try!) and the wait staff were brilliant. I really really liked the aesthetics of the place too, very cozy.

I had a horrible Nov so my friends and I decided to go to Tagaytay last week to unwind. We were craving Japanese food and checked out the top restos on google. Tripadvisor suggested this place. I tell you, it did not disappoint! Everything we...ordered was delicious. So happy we ordered Bulalo Ramen. It is like eating the Tagaytay famous bulalo with a Japanese twist. I also recommend their Tonkatsu- so tender and crispy at the same time. Dragon Maki is also worth trying. We also loved the ambience of the resto.More

My favorites are: grilled shio saba (juicy and very fresh), ebi tempura (shrimps are big sizes so you can assure of the quality), wagyu saikoro steak (I like the sauce poured to it and how it is being served on sizzling plate), shoyu ramen (generous...serving can be shared by two people), and aozora salad (the greens are very fresh)More

Went back to see if things have changed due to the pandemic... will be coming back with the fam for the holidays and what better to do than remember that festive feeling from last year. Aozora did not disappoint. The staff, as before, are courteous...and helpful. The food, as expected, rekindled memories of joyous hearty meals for celebrations... definitely will tell the fam we're coming back to Aozora, bet they'll be excited as I am.More

I expected too much from this restaurant, ramen is not good, tonkatsu is so tough, small servings of sashimi not worth the price, if its not for the nice waiter who served us, i would have rated this 1.

we ordered gyoza for appetizer and believe me it tasted like longganiza dumplings(not in a good way)and this is 295php for 5pcs(the fillings is very small also, almost just the wrapper). when we get our mains this is where the nightmare happened.. we had saikoro...wagyu (5pcs for 525php?) taste was not bad but not seared looked like steamed(idk)(does not taste like japanese food also). then chicken yakitori that dont have seasoning at all, even salt, i don’t know if they forgot(come on, you can’t even put salt for that price). then we had aozora fried rice which is your typical fried rice which supposed to come with leeks in menu description(they don’t have not even one)(225? with 1 stick of sliced kani?) which is totally bland not even a hint of sesame oil.. then we ordered a follow up mixed tempura and i didn’t came for 20mins or so, so i cancelled it(thank god, maybe we already had enough). ps. rainbow maki was okay maybe thats why they called it japanese food.. but the mains are horrible. pss. we paid 1600++ for a check that came after 15mins+? what worst can happened.More

We happened to have found their other branch (Aozora Tagaytay - The farm, I think) which is exclusive for booking as bed and breakfast. But since we are only two people, the owner (I just assume he's the owner lol) let us dine for dinner....The food was a 5/5 for us. And we had the place to ourselves. The place also has a good ambiance. I really commend the owner for being so nice and accommodating. We will definitely come back.More
