We frequented to Tagaytay 2- 4 times a month And one of the things we do is to look for different resto. Heard reviews about this one and told my family that we should try this one. We were the last customer that night, so...were a bit noisy. The food is superb especially the crispy pata both seniors and juniors alike enjoyed the taste of their food. We were like super gutom mot a single meal was left. In short kawawa ang pusa.More

It is a cozy, homely bed and breakfast inn and diner. Very affordable in meal and accommodation. Services are very friendly. Chef Louie is around to greet the guests specially on weekends.

So due to an uneventful mistake of the booking/reservation staff of La VeryOl’s, we had to be booked in Morielli’s (with complimentary breakfast) as compliment for their mistake. Booked on cozy room but no view. We had our massage there courtesy to la VeryOl’s therapist...for our overnight stay. The place was neat and cozy, bit a bit disappointed with the breakfast. We were told of the limited choices of breakfast menu to choose from (slightly acceptable) but what kept me wondering was that for a complimentary breakfast coffee is not included, so I had to pay for it. Its nit the price but what’s a breakfast (in the Philippines) without coffee considering were inTagaytay...More

Food is not all that great. Plus it takes a really long time to cook the food. 30 minutes or so. Makes you think that they only have one stove available. Everything takes minimum of 30 minutes. The taste is so so. Not that great....Quality is poor as well. The noodles are soggy, the vegetable’s over cooked. Their signature dessert is not available.More

I think I should blame the Certificates of Excellence Morielli's got for the past 2-3 years and the Booky entry. Italian/Mexican/Filipino restaurant with 5-star TripAdvisor rating? My expectations were quite high. I arrived there to find a very average restaurant. Definitely not an Italian/Mexican restaurant...except by a huge stretch of the imagination. The food is so-so, with only the crispy tawilis really showing promise. Crispy pata was a bit tough and rice too expensive for the quality. The soup and arroz caldo were also mediocre. We wanted to order their flatbread pizza but it was out of stock, so there goes the Italian. The facilities were average, definitely not cozy as some have described. It's more or less properly maintained, but the washroom has a smell. There was only one other family aside from us in the restaurant. I had recommended this over Balay Dako due to its higher TripAdvisor ranking, but I definitely regret my decision and ended up making amends by visiting Balay Dako the following day. As we were supposed to go to our sure lunch place, it was CLOSED for renovation. We saw Moreli on the other side and we decided to try rather than travel far. The outside look of the place looks enticing. But there is no view...whatsoever. The interesting stuffs are those paintings, coloring of the kids on display. The food is not cheap and the serving size is not big. I guess it depends on what you order. Besides the service is in need of upgrade - being attentive to customer needs.More

The food had good flavour. But I was the only one in the restaurant, service was slow and poor. Food was super expensive and the portion of the tacos so small. Would not eat here again. Plenty of nicer places with much cheaper food and...larger portions in Tagaytay.More

The Mexican tacos are freshly cooked. Tortillas are homemade topped with a generous serving of flavorful beef and tasty salsa (the hot sauce on the side complements it so well). The Mango crepe is served with fresh sliced mangos and creamy ice cream. The smell...of sizzling sisig is also very appetizing. The steamed tilapia is one of a kind - loved the delectable kick of coriander. The manager is friendly and passionate about his work. Always a delight to visit Morielli's!More
