We brought our balikbayan friend to Pamana to satisfy her craving for bulalo. It did not disappoint as the serving was generous, the meat fell off the bone , and the soup was divine. Customer service was at its finest; the waiters were attentive and efficient. Food was readily available. My score is 4.5 stars, as we did not have a full view of Taal. We were at the ridge. The interiors were nice and the curio shop was very interesting.

Unique take on Filipino food

This restaurant is across Serin Ayala Mall hence it is easy to get into if youre staying near the area. We had breakfast here but still decided to order the usual food served during lunch. If you want to try the menu of Tsokolateria then you can do order from either of the menus. The food itself were given with a modern take on preparation, ingredients and presentation. But to be fair, not memorable enough to urge me to try it again.

Superb service, food was good too. Not very wow, but definitely would come back!

Food was average for me, not much peanut taste in the kare kare. My friends ordered bacon lechon kawali and longganisa and they enjoyed it. We also ordered ensaymada, and churros. They’re pretty good too. But Kuya Jimmy’s service was superb!

I see to it everytime i am on holiday here in Philippines, i eat and dine here with fam. And that is for the past 10 yrs. This time i am dissatisfied with the quality of food. All our food were not fresh, it seems the food were marinated and or prep then frozen for a long time. A local carinderia would have freshest produce compared to what we have. Sadly, for some reason the food was not the same how it was..

Must try when you visit Tagaytay

Food here feels like home. Generous portion too. Definitely one to try when you are in the area, can't missed as the location is also their main attraction.

Tsokolate Eh! The best!

The food is average. The service is very good. The one that stand out is the Tsokolate Eh! Pricing is affordable. Weekday is a must visit. Resto vibes is relaxing. Love the plates they are selling!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

food is absolutely delicious and affordable but your waiters and staff even the receptionist are terrible!!! R U D E!! it's actually our first time eating here and our experience was disappointing because of the staffs we are never coming back! we were aiming to eat at balay dako or bag of beans or antonios but puno lahat so we ended up trying this pamana restaurant since walang tao naman, Which is a very wrong choice we went to the restaurant at around 12nn (december 2,2020) the parking boy was very good he actually assisted us but when we went in the receptionist just said " pwede napo pumasok" and did not assist us she even got my mother so mad because my mother kept on saying we wanted a table na magkakatabi kami because it's OUR ONLY TIME na kumpleto! receptionist said na "wala wala "di pwede blabla, we know na dapat social distancing what we are requesting is atleast isang helerang table kahit magkakahiwalay duhhhh, we were 7pax btw. they gave us magkkahiwalay na table at first tapos yung nakagreen na naglalagay ng water was very bastos!! super!!! my mom said to the receptionist bakit yung katabing table magkakatabi sila. and all the receptionist is saying is "wala na wala na" but! merong waiter na hinelp kami he was superb!!! he was the only one who actually calmed the situation binigyan nya kami ng table sa taas where in we can eat as a whole family. Thank you kuya waiter! sorry we were'nt able to get the name of the staffs because we wanted to bond. He's the only one who served as so we gave him almost 2000 pesos as a tip alone because of his effort i hope your co workers are like you. Mabilis mag isip and magresolve ng situation. okay so we are all settled in ok na so i went to the cr downstairs the receptionist and si ateng tagapour ng water was talking about what happened and yung mom ko sa RECEPTION AREA wherein a lot of people can hear it, they were laughing about the situation ,So i told them kung paguusapan nyo yung nangyare or chismis please kayo kayo nalang wag yung ibang may nakakarinig. SO SI KUYANG WAITER LANG ANG KUMAUSAP samin and nagsorry and tbh wala syang kasalanan yung receptionist at yung nakagreen ang bastos e. Not even yung manager supervisor ang lumapit samin to talk about what happened. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 si kuya waiter na mabait included sa picture down below thanks kuya again. Godbless you kuya waiter END OF STORY. NOT COMING BACK HERE AGAIN. food is great but staffs are rude.

I ordered Pinakbet and Crispy Adobong Pusit. Both were really really good! You should order it. They have Taal Lake View but it is too windy to stay outside. Limited parking only. This place is good for family bonding. However you need to go up the stairs and not a PWD or senior citizen friendly. Price is not cheap but worth a try. I will definitely come back to try another dish.

Heirloom dishes with a twist

First tried it at the Makati branch and was pleasantly surprised to the familiarity of the dishes but to a certain extent the twist are just fine. Loved the fried squid in its ink!!

Great Food and Ambience. Worth every penny

Tried their humba and 3kinds of adobo. Initially I thought restaurant is a bit pricey by just looking at the menu but not the case actually. The serving is generous and service and food is great so it is actually worth and justifies the price. Plus great ambiance

Love the ambiance and foods are delicious! Chicken Binakol and Adobo Kangkong are so tasty and delicious. I hope to try some more foods when we come back :)

Sulit and Sumptuous Family Lunch

5 things I like most about Pamana: 1. Love the food. I don't like Kare Kare that much but their's is absolutely delish. 2. Bulalo soup was tasty and the meat super tender. We even had a soup refill for free 🥣 3. The place feels like home. Perfect for family meals and get-togethers. 4. Natural breeze inside the house. 5. Price is relatively reasonable.

I know there are other pamana restaurants in Manila, but dining in Tagaytay is sort of a different level, the ambiance of the taal lake and the fact that you are on a mini break makes it special. We arrived as a group of 15 and there was a group of 20 ahead of us, but we were seated in about 30 mins. The lady at the reception was kind enough to recommend some other restaurants around Tagaytay (probably because we all look famished!), but this kind gesture made us stay. They serve all the favorite dishes in the Philippines, from Luzon to Mindanao, so it's practically a one stop dining experience. I highly recommend the humba, the seafood kare-kare, the sinigang na kamyas, and tuna belly. They have the all time favorite snacks and desserts so you can eat at your hearts content. Also, the ginger pandan ice tea is really good stuff. Staff is very friendly. The food arrived in a reasonable time and served together. It's worth the wait even if you have to queue.
