The ribs were really good and serving was very generous. We also ordered the fish and chips but found the breading of the fish too thick. Staff was very attentive and service was great!

Saw the great reviews, and was curious because we've been passing this restaurant everytime we go to Tagaytay. But after eating there, I don't see where all the raves come from. With the prices in their menu, we expected more. Their Waikiki ribs were not exciting, and we felt that the star was actually the grilled pineapple. There was around 2 dollops of average tasting mashed potato served in an extremely small ramekin with the ribs, but because it was so little we felt that it wasn’t even a side dish, but more of a sampler.
The grilled salmon in the menu were actually salmon belly strips, and I felt grilling them was the wrong way to use it. With all its fat and skin, you barely get any meat. Felt so disappointed because I was imagining a delicately charred salmon fillet.
I'm not sure if we just ordered the wrong food. Almost rated them poor because we didn't get what we paid for.

Brought our Balik Bayan relatives to dine here for lunch as this is my Mom's fav restaurant in Tagaytay.
The Hawaiian BBQ baby back ribs are so tender and yummy paired with their Pineapple rice. I love the fried Tawilis, mango caesar salad, BBQ platter, baked seafood packet and Fisherman's catch. The restaurant have introduced their local hot chocolates.
The only negative comment is the smell of sewage that turns you off specially when eating. I hope the management of this establishment will do something about it. If not, a lot of costumers will no longer return to his restaurant.

First time here but will not be the last. The food was excellent, the view was superb, service was very good. We shared a seafood platter and a pork backribs platter and were treated to a magnificent feast. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Definitely not Hawaiian style- tasting ribs (been to Hawaii 10x in 7 years and had a house there). Service is very slow. Setting is pretty but like some places along the Ridge these days, there is the Awful Smell.

Ordered ribs, its tender. But nothing special.
I liked the volcanic chicken but serving is so small. Also liked the spam masubi, its tasty.
The food is on the expensive side.
They have bed and breakfast. Their lobby is pretty. But there is a smell on the place, you will noticed once you get seated.

Their outside dining has a very nature feel to it plus it has a beautiful view of the Taal Lake. I like how you can order from both the menus of Tsokolateria and Hawaiian BBQ. We had a Sunday breakfast and we enjoyed the food selection of Tsokolateria. I particularly liked the Cebu style crispy bacon with black rice. The banana waffle churos can actually be a full meal in itself unless you intend to share it as a dessert somehow between maybe four people. Service was pretty adequate and their staff was attentive. Price point is okay too. Would come back when I'm in town again.

I've eaten here twice, great ambiance, fast service, not that pricey (most items are good for 2), got to try both menus:
1. Hawaiian menu (4 stars)
-you gotta order their hawaiian iced tea!
-ribs are super tender; just a bit too sweet for my taste
-their baked potato is heaven
-noticed that their menu items are rich and indulgent so order something acidic to balance things out
2. Tsokolateria menu (5 stars)
-savory items infused w/ chocolate
-ingredients are simple but well thought out
-pictures show pinoy caprese, creamy kesong puti soup, lechon kawali w/ organic rice
-food looks rich but its actually light
-can't wait to eat here again!

I ordered food good for 2 as i am with my husband (ribs and onion rings). Food was very well presented. The taste of ribs- smokey and sweet (but not too sweet). Onions ring- heavy battered, fail, fail, fail. Nothing much different with the food in Manila, but with a view and good ambiance.

We asked if the food are good for sharing, they mentioned they are good for 2. But when the orders arrived, they are actually good for 3! We ordered tacos, baked potatoes, and baby back ribs. We loved all of it!
The venue is housed by The Boutique Bed and Breakfast. On the ground floor is one restaurant venue that is actually of two different restaurants/menu: Hawaiian and Tsokolateria. We tried their native hot chocolate and it didn't disappoint our expectations. :)

Hawaiian Barbeque has been a favorite of our kids...whenever we visited Tagaytay this is a must visit for lunch! They love the tranqulity of the ambiance...clean tables, chairs and table-set up. Food is always delectable. Your meal will never go wrong with Hawaiian Barbecue. Pineapple fried rice, spam and fries, they're chicken with mango salsa, and the most delish of all the original Barbeque ribs! with a fresh buko juice you'll never go wrong!
