My wife and I had our late lunch wedding anniversary date and we were warmly greeted by the courteous staff. We'll rate the cleanliness and coziness of the dining area 8/10. We were offered to have their couple's package meal to which we agreed. But after 10 minutes we were advised that our choice of t-bone steaks ran out of stock. My wife ended up having All Day Breakfast Tocilog, pumkin soup and veg salad while I had smoked salmon. Our rate for the amount of food serving 7/10 and 9/10 for the taste of everything we had.

Amacena has been a household name in the Tagaytay Dining scene, and this was my first time to try it. We recommend the following dishes: Smokin’ bistek, pizza Nebraskan’s and sizzling bulalo. While their food are mainly Filipino they add their own twist to it. Service is excellent and staff are very friendly.

Staff were so hospitable and accommodating when me and my family arrived in the Amacena restaurant of One Tagaytay Place Hotel. We would like to commend in particular the one employee with name tag as "ARDEL". He fits in the qualifications of a good polite hotel staff or manager which the hotel/restaurant can boast of. Ardel greeted us with a smile and individually placed our table napkins on our laps. And so attentive that sometimes you tend to get annoyed as Ardel will really ensure he is by the side of the diner should anything gets needed. Food though quite pricey matches the fine dining and elegant theme of the hotel. Food cannot be found in any other hotels/restaurants we had been through before. To die for are adobo sa puti, bulalo soup, tawilis fried rice and tawilis pizza to name a few. Do not also forget to have some serving of the Amcenas' shakes. We love the avocado more than any shakes offered. Creamy and milky as if you were savoring an avocado flavored ice cream! The dessert we really crave for is the apple pie that melts in your mouth! Not so sweet, super flavorful, you forget you are on a diet! Decor/Design.Theme of the Amacena is made more brilliant with a serving of one huge Teddy Bear stuffed toy perfect for a selfie or duo with your boyfriend or girlfriend or groupie with the barkada! Will surely go back!

Hi NODINE, We appreciate your efforts to share this review of our restaurant. We value your honest evaluation and we will take these as points to discuss on where we can improve. And of course, we are grateful for the commendations. As part of our commitment, our staffs tried their best to go above and beyond for our guests, and sharing this feedback to them would definitely mean a lot, especially to the above mentioned staff (Ardel). See you again soon!

All the foods on the menu are Traditional Filipino dishes. What I like is how the foods were presented and how they incorporated modern twist to the classic dishes. Also, service is superb! Must try their Adobong CPA and very crunchy and flavorful Okoy.

Fourth time to visit this resto for the to-die-for Belgian Choco Eruption. Takes minimum of 20 minutes to prepare and a little pricey but every small piece is worth the wait and the price. Magnifico!
