I suggested this restaurant to my sister and brother-in-law when they visited over the holidays, since in the past this was our family's favorite restaurant whenever we were in Tagaytay. Sure, we were able to get a table for our group of 9, and while...waiting for our orders to arrive at our table we reveled in the late-morning view of the lake. When the food arrived I noticed that the servings were not as much and tasty as before. The bulalo soup had a weird aftertaste and kare-kare was bland. When we got the bill we were surprised at the amount. Even the senior discount they gave wasn't that much! The servings weren't that hefty at all, and it seemed that the prices were jacked up and the portions were lessened. Not sure if they were covering up for their losses due to the pandemic, but at least they could have retained the quality of the food they used to serve. This place isn't worth another visit from us. All the more reason to visit and try other restos in Tagaytay.More

Always a pleasure! My faves are the crispy pata, bulalo soup, and kare-kare. I've had one each time I've stopped by, and they have all been fantastic. The staff is friendly, there was always love music, and the view of the volcano is spectacular. There...was always some confusion regarding the bill, but it was always very easily sorted. Would recommend this place for a delicious meal!More

Ordered kare kare, tawilis pakbet and halo halo, presentation and flavor was bad as if some instant flavoring was added.vegetables were soaked and soggy, tawilis was not fresh halohalo was so ordinary. Gone are the days when you'd be confident to bring visitors to this place to experience...good food. This visit will definitely be our last.More

There are a lot of items that unavailable such as the paella anf baked mussels. We opted to order the Crispy Kare-Kare and Camaron Rebosado and the Steamed Rice. The steam rice is low quality for the price. The taste of the Kare-Kare is very...different from the original we was served before and the Camaron Rebosado is ok but the sauce is bland like father's joke. The ambiance of the restaurant is old it needs to be rennovated. We understand that due to pandemic there is some cut corners but the cost cutting for the quality of the rice is unacceptable. Overall the price and quality of the food is not worth it.More

We chose this restaurant because apart from the awe inspiring Taal Lake view, it is pet friendly. There is an ample parking space that can accommodate several cars, just have your receipt validated to get a free parking. The food is more on Filipino cuisine,...relyenong bangus is my ultimate favorite and their kare-kare is also a must-try. Food prices are reasonable. We had a great time staying at the Al Fresco area, luckily the weather is cold and it's windy. They allow fur babies to stay only at Al Fresco area, btw but it's perfectly fine. Face mask and face shield are still mandatory though they didn't require rt-pcr test. Alcohol are visibly available in the indoor dining area and washrooms. The only thing that is not up to par is the food serving actually took time, hopefully it will be improved. Kudos!More

Food quality is average, ambience inside the restaurant also average (not suitable for business meeting as there’s a group of people playing music and singing around the table throughout lunch - can’t really have any business discussion); place was also a bit stuffy due to...lack of air conditioning and crowded people. Plus point - the scenic view of the popular Tagaytay volcano viewMore

We ordered crispy pata, chicken adobo, sisig and adobong kangkong (for my vegan daughter), calamares and rice. The adobong kangkong is very satisfactory. The chicken adobo is so-so. The crispy pata is not very crispy. The steamed rice is great, though! perfectly cooked! Josephine's need...to recover its fading glory, fast!More

This restaurant is usually one of our go-tos if the usual famous restaurants are food. They serve the staple tagaytay food like bulalo and tawilis, plus it has a nice view of the taal lake.

The Food was great, the kids and the elderly enjoyed all the dishes, the servers were very friendly especially to the request of the Lola's and Lolo's with us, the view is amazing, overlooking the Taal Volcano, and there's an area where families can have...their photo's taken and the kids can play around while waiting for the foods to be served.More
