The view was amazing from this place
but for the food. Low quality
as for the service, mediocre.took them along time just to give us tissues and the receipt
if it wasnt for the view. I wouldnt come back here at all
attended a birthday dinner celebration and food is really good. and of course, the coffee. being a coffeeholic, the first order as soon as i take a seat is coffee. since this is also run by Bag of Beans, i am sure what coffee to...get.
all food tasted good. period.
value for money and worth your while.More
We were greeted and offered to choose our seats. We were about 10 mins seated with no help. I stood up to fetched a waiter and if there was none we were ready to leave to change resto. However an assistant saw me and follow...me to our table and took our orders.
My sister’s order- grilled salmon...it doesn’t taste like grilled. Only the surface had the grilled mark.
My order- chicken teriyaki - It’s not hot enough like newly cook.
My husband’s order-roast beef. He had complaint that the meat was stewed... it’s not roasted. It’s full of fat. Though he finished cuz of hunger. The service afterwards was satisfactory where I asked to parcel the unfinished chicken and fresh lumpia.More
Pros- great view of Taal, better and more upscale ambience compared to the main branch in Mendez (no view of Taal, buffet type)
Cons- pork sisig was over cooked (hard and chewy). The chicharon(pork cracklings) on top of the sisig is stale and bland ....The chicharon was like left opened in a cupboard and they just use it.
Steak and gravy pie- gravy is a bit salty and sour
The chefs needs to re-consider their cooking as well as discuss the quality from your sisig supplier. I was told that you buy the sisig from a supplier.
It’s a beautiful restaurant, I suggest make quality food to keep more people coming to your resto and retain regular customers.More
Nearest Bag of beans to Taal Vista Hotel by jeepney. the place offers a very beautiful view of the taal like and taal volcano. food though was a bit pricey, metro manila price like. overall, you pay for the ambiance and view. food is good...for 2 as they have big servings.More
The foods were average. Price is a little bit higher just like any restaurants with overlooking view of Taal. The place was not crowded but I thinl it's better to visit the Bag of Beans main branch at Mendez Crossing.
The place is overlooking the taal lake. Great ambiance. If you are near the area make sure to stop by and request a table outside. My husband and I just had coffee and dessert. We ordered caramel cappuccino, kapeng barrako and panacotta for dessert. Staff?...Not accommodating. Steep menu prices.More
I ordered roast beef and was amazed with the serving size and the consistency on how the meat was cooked. My 9 yrs. old daughter who is very choosy with her food even liked it (roast beef). My daughter had Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Cheese...and my wife had a Grilled Porkchop with Paprika (BOB style) which are both equally delicious. The place is also very cozy and elegant which is ideal whether traveling with family, friends and even going on romantic date.More
Charito is a bistro style restaurant and cafe located near to the Taal volcano. Unfortunately on the day we visited it was raining hard so we weren’t able to see the volcano but otherwise the restaurant offers a good view. The food is mostly western...style. I had the lapu lapu with saffron cream sauce, vegetables and mashed potatoes. The food was cooked well and the portions and price were reasonable. Service was good too.More

Hi Lester S. Sorry to hear about your experience. We’re there as guests last Dec. 27, 2018 and the staffs who served us were very nice and accommodating too, considering it was very late in the evening and they were about to close. I can say that me and my family had good customer service that day.
