Place is new, but overpriced. We had 3 different dishes and it was very plain, but big portion. Not worth the money. Better choose another place for lunch ;-)More

New? This year we will celebrate our fourth anniversary. Not old, but also not new. Overpriced? Our prices are comparable with other restaurants in Bagan offering at least the same ambiance. You can't compare our prices without taken into account our beautiful and romantic traditional...More

We chose to eat here after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor, and the food was good enough, but there wasn’t really anything amazing about the place or the food. The tomato salad was very nice, but the other food and drinks we ordered were rather...More

Enjoyed the atmosphere and service. We had a variety of dishes based on local styled cooking. Very tasty and highly recommendable. Excellent service with a smile.

Out of the 4 days I spent in Bagan, i had the opportunity to try a few restaurants in the city (old and new bagan, nuang u). The food at this restaurant, while not bad, definitely NOT great as some of the reviews suggested. I...More

Dear Ed, We are sorry to read that you have not enjoyed your food in our restaurant. If there is oil on the top of the fish curry it’s from the fish itself, because the fish is not fried with oil but boiled in water....More

Great place with a wide choice of dishes. I had my first laphet thoke (tea leaf salad) a local specialty with pickled tea leaves and a lot of crunchy beans and peanuts. They put too much garlic (I left many bits on the plate) but...More

Dear p_herge, Thank you for calling our restaurant a "great place"! We are sorry to read that according to your taste there was too much garlic in the tea leaf salad. But this is the way local people love to eat the original Myanmar tea...More

Have to say, this restaurant really does do an amazing chicken fried rice... I asked for their special sauce too, and that was just the icing on the cake! Staff are so lovely too, asked us if everything was okay and if we needed anything...More

Lovely food, couldn't fault it, I had the prawn spring rolls which were so good and the chicken friend rice, simple and good. The restaurant was easy to find. The staff were friendly. The place was busy when I was there. Would definatly recommended going.

Local food is nice but not for other food like Thai food. Price is abit expensive for the food. The restaurant is nice but it is too hot as they only have 2 small fans.

LGF and I checked out 7 Sisters Restaurant one evening. As the name suggests, this place is run by 7 sisters. Ambience-wise, there’s not much to this place. In fact, I got kinda annoyed that there wasn’t any breeze and neither were there any fans...More

The "7 Sisters Restaurant" is a beautiful, romantic open air restaurant, where you can enjoy a wide array of Myanmar, Chinese, Thai and European dishes. As the name suggests, it's run by seven sisters. You will find it a clean and comfortable place for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just a refreshing drink on a warm afternoon. The restaurant is built like an authentic Tazaung (a Buddhist adoration hall or shrine pavilion). The framework of the building consists of fourteen genuine massive teak pillars and large teak beams to support the roof. It's located on a quiet corner of 3rd Street and Nwe Ni Street, just a one minute walk from the Eight Faces Pagoda in the centre of New Bagan, away from the noisy and dusty main street.
