This cafe deservedly should be titled Best in the West. I went there today for lunch with a friend and as usual it was outstanding. I can honestly say that I have never once had a disappointing meal at Valley View and today was no...exception. The location is beautiful and the staff are lovely - nothing is ever too much trouble and they are all super friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend this cafe in every way whether it is for a meal or just a coffee. I always feel as though I have had a special treat when I visit Valley View so thank you Amy, Richard and the team for making Valley View so great.More

Visited with my husband and son, I had the Tart of the day which came with a lovely fresh salad and chips it was delicious and I throughly enjoyed it, my husband had the fish finger sandwich which was proper fish and was quite large...but he managed, our son had the Bacon and Brie Sandwich which was enormous and he said tasted amazing. A bit of a wait but where can you go now and not wait for freshly cooked to order food but it was all well worth it. Sit back, relax with a delicious coffee or hot chocolate and take in the most amazing view, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you all and we’ll be back soon.More

45 minutes wait for 2 x Sosage, caramalised onion and cheese toasted sandwiches which arrived dripping in fat as though they had been fried, not a good experience.

Thank you Amy & the Valley View team for another brilliant breakfast, you never disappoint. Always appreciate everyone’s hard work, especially during these difficult & very busy times. As a group of 8, we put you under a bit of pressure, but everything was perfect....Thanks again ☺️ Big whoop whoop to all the VV team ❤️More

We live in Plymouth but frequently visit Valley View cafe as the food is exceptional. The expanded outdoor area is a great addition. The staff are always so friendly. Definitely the best breakfasts around and the presentation is fabulous. We also regularly order a food...delivery from the farm shop. The quality of meat from the butcher is excellent. We're so glad we found this place a few years back.More

Oh boy what a breakfast. Black pudding? Banging. Sausages? Sublime. Eggs? Beaut. Has browns? Killer. Mushrooms? Bosh. I don't even like mushrooms but I wolfed 'em down, lad. It was busy sure and we waited just under an hour but I'd do it all again...for scran this good. Sit outside, people. Enjoy the view.More
