Leafy's Cafe, Krui - Restaurant Reviews, Phone Number & Photos

This is a great find at Mandiri Beach near Krui. An oasis of calm and cool (Yes A/c) and Wifi, with excellent food and great coffee. The menu is varied - too many dishes to mention but I loved the massive stack of pancakes with...fresh - yes fresh cream and honey and the Chicken burger which came in a freshly baked bun with oodles of smashed avo among other great additions. The coffee is made by a trained barista and never fails to satisfy. There's now a Leafy's Express at the Point so two great locations for a coffee and breakfast after an early morning surf at Mandiri or the Point. Highly recommended.More

Best coffee in Krui

What a little gem just outside Krui. A must try for anyone visiting - amazing ambience, excellent food with great service & the best coffee in South Sumatra hands down!!

Solo women Traveler/ Coffee Snob

I really liked Leafy's and they had great wifi for video conferencing. It's an awesome place to meet other surfers from all over the world and has a sleepy town /chill / friendly vibe. I eat ridiculous amounts of their Avocado Toast and they did...a good job at modifying items because I am lactose intolerant. I wish they had homemade coconut milk from all of the trees, but I'll still be back and sip black coffees until then! :) Great place, spend time there! - ChessaMore

Best coffee in Krui

Spent a month in Krui and had the cooked breakfast almost everyday. It's so handy having somewhere that's serving such good food now. There's something on the menu for everyone, even my wife who's vegetarian and my one year old daughter. It's perfect for breakfast...after surfing the beachie and the coffee is as good as anywhere in the world.More

Banging coffee, epic food

Such nice food, the breakfasts are wicked with pancakes that will blow your mind....... and amazing coffee! Its so good to be able to have a place near Mandiri to chill for the day in between surfs. So treat to relax in an air conditioned...cafe near Krui.More

Perfect Cafe. Friendly staff, Great Coffee & Fantastic Food

I came to Sumatra for the first time 12 years ago, and I'm so pleased to come back to the area and find a cafe/restaurant with such good food and coffee. The coffee is incredible. I was very surprised to find a perfect latte in...such a rural location. Its as good as anywhere in Bali. I'm vegetarian, and there's plenty of food on the menu for me. I'd recommend the veggie panini. If you are staying in Mandiri or the Krui area you have to come here, and I guarantee you will come back everyday for food and coffee!More

The cafe is awesome and the menu is a great treat compared to what else is on offer in the area. Love the chicken pesto panini!

Great menu in the middle of the jungle

I ate had breakfast at Leafy's everyday for 10 days, its in an ideal spot, right in front of the beach at Mandiri, and the food is great. Came back for a few lunches too - the only place in Sumatra I've been able to...have a carbonara!More

Ate here pretty much every day for two weeks and would have happily done so for two more - great food, awesome staff, mega setting! Recommend the carbonara, the burger, the wrap, the nasi goreng, the fries, the pancakes, the full English, the smoothie bowl...- so pretty much everything! And the genius Eni behind the place is a superstar too!More

Jungle surprise

Just spent another stint in the jungle and had breakfast here every morning The food and service is bloody awesome. Plenty of variety and I made short work of the smashed avo,poached eggs with a side of salsa Most mornings It’s not on the menu...yet but the French toast is about as good as it gets. Hats of to all the staff very friendly and I’ve enjoyed your hospitality. Cheers guys I’ll catch on the next one. ShaneoMore
