ive tried the black velvet, the cake is soft and yes its velvety, but its not worth the price, a good baker will put this cake into shame. even the cake layers are not properly even, its very disappointing. To give further comparison, the cake...itself taste like red ribbon chocolate cake (1.5x the flavor) and the frosting taste like ube cakes frosting, thats how basic it is. A regular slightly enchance choclate cake with a creamcheese frosting. If you really want a good cake try “Sweet Claire” its 10x better its worth the price.More

Ok food-wise? i do like this place. its subtle, and never overpowered. not to say its bland? its just right for spices on the food. my problem with this place is..... they slap you with the bill DURING your meal.... i wouldn't mind it if...they give it to you while you're not eating like before they serve the food, or after you eat like most other restaurants? but being told to stop eating mid-bite to tell you they are giving you the bill, sort of kills the mood. despite this being in a mall? the ambiance would have been relaxing still if not for that. I wonder though, how many people eat and run their place for them to do this. none of the other restaurants do it. that really marked in my mind, sorry to anyone else that may not be bothered by that, but i am. this is on top of if you are not dressed right? they ignore you when you ask for a menu, at least until you force them to take notice by actually calling out. signalling them, even the managers do not work, either that or get the menu yourself from their spot.More

Mary Grace is a nice restaurant in the mall and a good place to meet friends. The food is very good and the desserts are also. Prices are a Little higher than the norm in the area. But the quality is also.

One of the best places with service and food you will ever go to. Must get the ensaymada and the cheese rolls. I don't always come to the Philippines but when I do I always visit Mary Grace

The cafe is whimsical with the characteristic combination of lights and lamps hanging from the ceiling and written memorabilia on the tables. We tried the summer squash soup which we paired with batard bread and grilled kesong puti. The soup was rich and creamy and...delicious with the bread and the lightness of the kesong puti. We also tried the mango bene cake which was okay but not spectacular. Next time, we will be sure to try their famous grilled ensaymada or the more decadent sans rival. The apple cinnamon tea with honey was disappointing. It was served tepid, foamy, and with a strange smell. To be refreshing, it has to be served clear, and very cold. The space invited lingering and conversation so it was a good experience overall.More

Was looking for a restaurant with free wifi and found this cozy place where I can work at the same time having my meal. Beautiful but simple arrangements inside makes you feel home. I like their clean toilet and overall ambience. Food was ok; quick...service and conveniently located.More

I dined in Mall of Asia 3rd floor branch.... Food was excellent same with the ambiance but WILJAY the server was a little rude.I felt discriminated. What I did was a simple question but I was answered in a very rude manner. Anyway, the rest...of the server were nice. They just need to improve their service that's all.More

This chain is very popular in Philippines. Although the shopping centre was not busy mid afternoon on a Sunday (between what might be considered normal hours for lunch and diner), Mary Grace had a surprising number of patrons. I enjoyed the prawn and mango salad,...but it was a small serve for P390. The P90 iced tea with cinnamon was delicious. Staff were fine. At P528.30 for the total, just a little overpriced.More

The cake looked delicious and fluffy when i first saw it, but i failed to ask the staff about what's inside the cake. To my surprise, it was in fact a sansrival cake stuffed with mangoes. It tasted good though but I'm not fond of...sansrival cakes. And one thing that I noticed the following day:the cake shrinked and it tasted more like Mango float:)More

We picked up some dessert items and other goodies from their takeout window. This location appeared fairly busy. It was clean. What we bought was tasty.

The first time i dined with Cafe Mary Grace was in Serendra last year. I was contented and happy with their food and service. When I saw that they have a branch in MOA, I asked my friend to bring me there and i wasn't...disappointed. The place is so cozy and picture perfect. The food serving is so huge that it is best for sharing. The price? Well, it is affordable for Manila rates. The service though needs improvement but still a bit good compared to other restaurants.More

Ive been to a lot of their branches and service is generally very pleasant. In this branch in sm bf i commend Jayson for being extra attentive, gracious and polite. Im a regular customer in this branch and in alabang town center. I love their...chocnut flavored hot chocolate and also their traditional hot chocolate. I always order their angus beef tapa, vigan longganisa and their pandesal with vigan longganisa and quesong puti. And of course their famous cheese rolls that i always take home by the dozen.More

This is one of my favorite place for desserts. They have good meals but in small serving sizes. Quite pricey for the size.

I arrived at dinner time although I was only there for tea and dessert. The place was fully booked, in and outside tables were all occupied. Despite the busy and full house operation, they did not refused me a table and was still accommodated. The...welcome was warm, service was not compromised, and many thanks to Jordan who made a way to set me up a table. I was served with service water before I ordered my slice of chocolate cake, one the best I've tasted from around the world! I was offered selection of tea and they have the premium kind. I wasn't offered sweetener but not a big deal. I asked for Splenda which was not available and was rather offered Suchero which is better. During my tea time, seats inside were vacated and I was right away offered to move inside by Jayson. Jayson is an asset to Mary Grace and his hardwork deserves to be recognized. He is very welcoming. He also offered further assistance before I left the place. As someone who belongs to the management level in hospitality, I'd regard Jayson as one of those I'd love to work with in the future. Congratulations to Mary Grace SM BF for the job well done.More
