I like their wine pairing with our food. Very exclusive ambiance. The service staff are very attentive and hats off to the chef. I may never go back because of the price but its a very worthy experience

My girlfriend and I stayed at Nobu and had booked a reservation at the Tasting Room even though it was on short notice. We both had the six course meal. I was especially fond of the lobster curry which I found surprisingly sweet and fruity, different from what I usually associate with eating curry. The setting was nice and cosy, a perfect place for a romantic rendezvous. I would have love to give the restaurant the maximum stars available for this review. However, after a satisfactory meal we were given complimentary cakes and hot chocolate tablets. The chocolate was aromatic, spiced with a taste of ginger. One of the cakes given however already had considerable amount of mould growing on it and was immediately thrown out. We had an amazing experience overall, and we would go back again.

So the wife surprised me when we got into the Tasting Room at the heart of the City of Dreams. We've been talking about going here for quite some time. We knew that it was fine dining but it was still reasonable as the prices ranged similar to other chic bistro restaurants in the Metro. The highlight for me was the famed "The Egg" a potato puree soup with an egg cooked upto a certain degree only (I think 210 degrees) and with bacon bits at the bottom. It was HEAVENLY! The steak was also great and the duck. But that EGG soup!!! I dont know if they still serve that in the Tasting Room nowadays considering that their head chef has put up his own resto in BGC called 210 degrees where they serve their famed "The Egg".

My date wanted to impress me with a Degustation for my birthday and my date definitely did NOT disappoint! My new favorite dining place in Manila! The restaurant has a quiet, elegant and intimate setting. We had the 6 course meal and I can say I enjoyed every single dish in the menu. The dish were incorporated with interesting ingredients. Very well executed. 2 thumbs up!

Came with my date for the 8 course menu and we made sure to get different things so we were able to to try 16 dishes in all! The food was obviously presented in a typically casino based restaurant fashion meaning it was flamboyant colorful and artsy fartsy nevertheless it was beautiful. Ever single dish was delicious but there were a few that seemed to taste very similar to one another. One thing I wish they did was to explain how to eat the dishes correctly so that we could experience it in the way the chef wanted. Highly recommended if u want to show your date that your a fancy pants. Boyfriend brought me here for our 1 monthsarry still together a year later lols.

They served Malbec and their blended white wine (I forgot the grape) and they were splendid. They served a variety of cheeses and they were all divine. Service was great. The ambience was enchanting. The pork belly and beef viands were adequate. Will definitely come back.

On my last day stay in Manila, my friend, who had dined here previously, decided to treat me here since she was quite happy with it. We had the 6 courses. Presentation of food were very nice. But I have mix feelings with the taste. I like the fish cod, the chocolate cake ( although I must say it looks better before they pour the hot chocolate ). With regards the others, it was just okay. The froth didn't come out as froth but more like a blob of cream ( or maybe it is a blob of cream ). Oh, in fine dining the server, upon seated ask what we'd like to drink. But in a fine dining like the Tasting Room, the server should ask if the diner would like wine pairing. When we gave her a heads up, she apologise and mentioned per glass cost P300. Honestly, I was surprise, not from the price, but is this how she was trained ? Overall, it was still a good experience.

The sequence of the menu was a symphony of delicacies, perfectly executed by the chef William Mahi, we were even able to watch the kitchen through a monitor on our private room. About the menu I should say that each dish reflex the meditation of the chef regarding the ingredients , fabulous dinner.

We stayed in the City of Dreams for one night and noticed an advert in the Casino for this 2 Michelin Star establishment. So pleased we discovered it. Every dish is a surprise and the price was reasonable considering the extremely high quality. Just a minor criticism is that we felt the dining room was sophisticated but not in our view romantic. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Complete with wine pairing. A dinner to remember that's for sure. Please remember to ask for the private room, you actually get to see the chef cooking.

After a fair bit of research this was the restaurant we chose to end our tour of the Philippines. The setting is lovely and quiet...perfect for a romantic night out. The service was not the most polished but the staff were lovely, they tried very hard and were attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing! Each course was a delight and the wine list was well thought out out. On the negative side the al la carte menu was a little confusing. From memory we opted for the 6 course degestation...there was a lot of food and we both struggled to get through it. Personally i prefer smaller courses and more of them. These were small issues and we both really enjoyed the night! I highly recommend this restaurant

I returned recently upon finding out that parts of the menu had changed at my favorite restaurant in the world. Again, Chef William Mahi managed to delight me. And as I'm writing this now, am salivating for the new foie gras dish I received that night. Also new (and causing my hunger now) is both the beef and the pigeon that I wish I had in front of me at this very moment. Here are the photos. You're welcome.

I was treated to a sumptuous lunch at The Tasting Room by our supplier during one of their events. Food served then was Filipino and Asian dishes. It was about two in the afternoon and by then it was nearing the end of lunch hours. The staff there were gracious enough to wait for us to finish and even assisted us in the dessert buffet. Food was amazing specially the pork dish (humba, I think) which was tender and savory! The chocolate cheese cake was heavenly and I treated myself to more than one slice! I couldn't say if the meal was expensive since I was only a lunch guest but I wouldn't mind paying extra for a lovely lunch as this one!

A very delicious food to share with your family and truly and exceptional dishes. I love the flavor of the steak; it's not the typical taste but an exception.
