The staff is nice, but the place is crawling with cockroaches. We saw two roaches on each of our two tables. There were roaches on the serving tables, and SERVING TONGS and God forbid! The sushi station!! We pointed out that there were roaches literally...on the plates with sushi! We came back, and there are roaches again! We reported it again, and later there are roaches again and again and again and again. Oh, by the way, despite that, we see them serve sushi or sashimi to the customers! To make things worse, I saw a puppy size rat scurry beneath one of the serving stations. Disgusting!More

At the start and end of each school year, I treat my co-faculty to this place. The variety and quality of the food are very good given the price. My only complaint is that many of the popular items such as the sashimi/sushi and dim...sum need to be ordered; and also the carving station which has long lines and chefs who automatically cook the meat beyond the level of doneness I want.More

We waited 2 hours to be seated. Foods were not being refilled anymore. We have no choice but to bear with what's available. Which is close to nothing. No more soup. No more dimsums. Almost nothing. The only part that's full were the drinks. We...paid in full but didnt feel like we ate what we had paid for. And it's far from wbat "buffet" is. So disappointing. Won't recommend Vikings in SM Marikina ever. And we won't eat there again.More

The Viking Buffet franchise is probably the best buffet restaurant in Asia. From Chinese, Italian, Greek, Middle East, Japanese, American and Filipino they have it all. It also tastes GREAT. The place was sold out from 11 am to 2 pm for lunch. The deserts...were to die for too. Ranging from cheese cakes to chocolate mousse. Best of all to drink they had unlimited San Miguel Beer. Service was good too. This is now my favourite buffet in the world.More

I am a loyal customer of Vikings Megamall and I just have to compare it with the Marikina branch. 1. The interior deco: Megamall's art museum inspired theme is better than Markina's "home" inspired. It makes Megamall look more elegant and also cleaner. 2. Variety...of food: You would think that they have the same food in all the branches but they do not. Megamall has more Western food while Marikina has more Chinese food. It is up to the individual's taste. 3. Carvery: In Megamall they always offer beef and lamb. I have eaten twice in Marikina, they either have beef or lamb but not both. The chef would always say they are still cooking the other one. If you go back to ask, the chef will still make the same reply. 4. Sashimi: In Megamall, there is always sashimi on the tray and the longest you have to wait is 2 minutes for it to be refilled. In Marikina, there is no sashimi on the tray you will have to ask the chef and then wait up to 10 minutes for it. 5. Tempura: In Megamall they never run out of tempura. In Marikina you are lucky if you still get some one hour before closing. 6. Dessert: I think Megamall has twice as much dessert than Marikina. 7. Service: The staff in Megamall are more professional while the staff in Marikina are more laid back. You can hear waiters in Marikina talking loudly with each other or even joking with customers. 8. Birthday picture taking. In Megamall, the staff will just bring the Vikings sign and hat and that's it. In Marikina, if you are a big group, they have this long routine of making the customers shout and cheer for every picture. Some may find this annoying if their table is near a group like that.More

Vikings in SM Marikina has more varieties of cuisine compared to Vikings SM Megamall. Unfortunately, the last time we went here, we saw a rat crawling in the bread section...

If you want to celebrate any occassion with family and friends, this is the place to go to. From appetizers to main course to dessert and even drinks, name it they have it. From Filipino dishes to international. Although it is quite costly but satisfaction...guaranteed. And the bithday celebrant is always free as long as you have extra paying people to accompany you. Make sure you bring your best appetite with you because from start to finish you’ll have a feast!More

+ nice points: √ great variety of food, drinks included √ warm, accommodating staff √ cleanliness of food area √ accessibility √ very helpful staff, address concerns with sense of urgency √ swift refilling of serving dishes yey!! √ cash, credit card usage √ pwd/...senior citizen - friendly √ free wi-fi - points for improvement: » lighting in area we were seated in was too dim » air - conditioning is not that great (init!) considering it was dinner time and not lunch » broccoli soup too salty, that time » one toilet/cubicle in the women's restroom is not functioning properly. No foul smell though. » You have to request for crab dishes. You wont find crab in the huge buffet area. They do not offer hmm... If it is your first try, you better ask for it- if you like crabs. My dad wondered, "In Vikings MOA they have alimango, but they dont have it here." We asked. And we were given platefuls yeyy :)More

We celebrated my friend’s birthday here! The place and food were all nice. The accommodation was also good. Even though we’re “walk-in” diners, we were serve on a short amount of time. I just felt that the birthday cake was not something special. Still, this...place is a must.More
