First time we have been there and took the family and grandkids for a birthday dinner as The Clubhouse was closed (our usual venue). Generally the food was good until the rump steaks arrived.....two rump steaks med rare that were like eating car tyres!! Very disappointing really and they need to change the supplier and find better quality steaks as it spolit the meal for us who had them. Its been a long time since I have had such tough meat....couldn't even chew through it!!! If you go here, stay away from the rump steak as the rest was good, including the service

Lovely Night out, food good, only Thai Green Curry Chicken very dry.
Portion size very good. Service good.
Good to see that the quality at Bay has improved immensely.
Must add, Tryn the night before charged R +_ 80 for a Tea Cup of Chips, we ordered chips for one, got a basket of really good quality Potatoes.
Would reccommend Bay very family orientated

I decided to support my old rugby club (False Bay) and went for lunch. I decided to have the chilli popper burger, it was cold and rather tasteless not very pleasant to eat.

What an amazing evening at the bay sports bar tonight. The weather is pleasant and just now ☀️ knew that they've go that yummies calamari in town . We enjoyed and participated in their Guinness split the g challenge what chbi found Soo much fun to do with friends. Thanks to the amazing crew who introduced the new sort of game . Anisha and mitzy are Soo remarkable in their job . We love coming here especially with these lovely crew around and amazing lights we even noticed

Last night we went for dinner and was served by precious,well when I say served I mean we were made to feel like she was doing us a favour. Rude, unprofessional behaviour. I had to ask twice for a manager who seemed just as uninterested in the restaurant and the 2 tables they had! When telling him all that went wrong in the night...a simple 'thanks for bringing it to my attention' was said and waiter and manager never to be found again... no proper apology or a solution was given.I have actually never seen 2 people avoid a table as much as they did. We were then made to feel unwelcomed the rest of our dinner and hurried to leave. I have never had such terrible service. Mcdonalds drive thru would be far better value for money

This is a place of contradictions: the nicest service you can wish for but.....the worst food we had in the last twenty years: enormous amounts of almost undefinable substances (nachos). Every piece of what was on the plates, from onion rings to potatoes, tasted of fish. I think their kitchen has never changed their cooking oil since they first opened, and keep using it for everything they dare putting on the menu to date.... HORRIBLE!

Typical sports club/pub.
We go there often for lunch during the week. They have a good lunchtime menu.R70.00
The food is pub food, the old faithfuls..Fish and chips, calamari, steak egg and chips etc.
Great burgers!!
The atmosphere is very relaxing, service always good. An ala carte menu is also available. We have always had a great meal there.

Typical festive rugby bar, food not bad. The crowd seems awesomely happy (probably because we were there on a Friday after work!) Good selection of cooling beverages :)

We often go there for lunch in a Saturday afternoon, always have tables, service is average, food is average too. But it is a good spot for a lazy Saturday lunch.

We have been there a few times in recent months and have always had a great time. The food is surprisingly good and good value. Friday nights is live music night and gets quite busy. There's a fire going in the evenings in the Winter. TVs dotted around the pub and restaurant will allow the husbands to follow any big sport event even if the wives are there, at least they're having a good time too and don't feel left out.

I went there with my family more to make use of the sports fields with my sons, and then we ate there as well. The food was good, the prices were very reasonable, service was good...I can't complain about anything and will be back, to use the sports facilities and the restaurant/pub.

This was our third visit to the restaurant.
The service was attentive and friendly.
We love the setting as the kids can enjoy the jumping castle and play area while parents can take a break in this relaxed setting.
The drinks were ice cold and very enjoyable.
The food is typical pub food and quite average. It lacks seasoning and doesn't have a lot of flavour. Everyone enjoyed the chips, but that was about it.
I would recommend it for its drinks and play area, but would avoid the food.
Will return, but not to eat.

We havent been now in 2 months. The service has dropped and often had to wait for our food and a simple chicken schnitzel comes out like a piece of biltong. One would think that the locals would be the ones to keep happy. The cricket club next door is producing some wonderful meals .....Hope they shake up their act. Ex manager Debbie was always on the ball, missed her smiley face....
