After reading some reviews I wondered if we should eat here. It had been several years (enjoyed it before) and wanted to return. Hesitant because some said the service was so bad. This is not true!! We went for lunch and it was fantastic. Annette...was our waitress and she went above and beyond to please us. We will certainly return. The food was excellent, price was right and service was fantastic.More

Great food if you go for dinner, Lunch isn't great...isn't really even good. Only go in the evening! Service used to be better, but it's kinda crap now....But the food makes it worth while as a beacon of light in the otherwise dark desolate west...valley (for quality food).More

Easy to get to and decent sushi, not the best, but standard.. I would return as the service was good and the atmosphere was nice as well... Kids and family voted the same..

Stopped here with friends who were craving sushi. They all thought it was ok but we wouldn’t drive out of iur way for it. Plenty of selection but certainly a little pricier than the place warrants. Ambiance and service very average and we spent about...$20 apiece after tip with only one beer.More

Overall the food is okay. Standard American sushi fare. Terrible wine. Nice patio area. The service is good. Plenty of standard fare for people that don’t really eat sushi!

Having recently moved to the area we were ready to find a good sushi restaurant. This isn't the one. Our server was in another world, we need to ask for napkins, water, the check, and to wipe the table. The food took foreveeeeer to arrive...and the place wasn't even busy. The average rating is for the quality of some of their dishes. The Las Vegas roll, the jalapeno popper appetizers, the seasoned seaweed salad were all above average, however basics like spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls were almost inedible. We'll continue our search for good sushi in the area, doubtful if we return.More

The food was very good and the servers were polite. We sat outside and it was quite comfortable. Will come back.

Visiting my mom and she took me to this wonderful casual small sushi restaurant on the way home from the airport. Don't pass it by just because it isn't a large place with fancy decor. The service and food were excellent. I included pictures of...most of our dinner. For sushi rolls - the Blue Flame roll is a must for crab lovers, and the California rolls for those who enjoy rolls that are not raw fish. The Korean BBQ short rib appetizers had the best, juicy caramelized flavor and texture. Chicken teriyaki was also delicious - tender with great flavor and perfectly cooked. The mixed tempura was also wonderful - few places master the art of crispy, tasty tempura like this restaurant. It was not greasy and was lightly coated with crunchy batter. We arrived there close to closing time and they could not have been more welcoming. We were not rushed, and our server let us take our time deciding. The only disappointment is I wish I lived in Goodyear because I would dine here weekly!More

It gets busy but the food never disappoints. We have frequented this business over 6 years and we love it, especially the reverse happy hour
