We dines at this restaurant several time when we were in Aitutaki and so were able to experience most of the cuisine available on the menu. Everything was to a very high standard and the staff were very flexible if there were individual requests. The...only problems that we encountered were due to the boat with supplies being delayed which meant that sometimes things were missing but this was always negated by other additions .....so not really a problem at all.More
Sitting round the Black Rock was bar was a daily ritual - watching Joeli blend exuiste cocktails for us as we lapped up the balmy evening sunset. The location and setting of the bar combined with Joeli's coctail talents -make this place a must visit...! The Rapae restaurant overlooking the lagoon took our breath away - fresh local fish and produce - complimented and cared for by the beautiful Esi - our dining experince as the sunset was a moment etched in time - we were on our honeymoon and felt the place could not have been better ! Highly recommend you trying this restaurant. Setting is stunning, food is top notch and service is second to none. We enjoyed breakfast/lunch & dinner at this restaurant and not once were we disappointed.
The experience in this restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast and dinner for 5 days. Every meal was great. The quality they offer is top-level, and the variety is also great. The fish and meat were always so fresh, the mix of flavours was spot...on and the desserts were delicious, The staff were also amazing, so lovely and attentive I can't say anything bad about this restaurant, it is worth every cent and I'm sure I'll go back.More
Beautiful food at unexpectedly reasonable prices and can confirm they make an exquisite Gin and Tonic! We stayed at the resort and expected the complementary breakfast to be a buffet… but no! Full cooked breakfasts that were so good! Staff are amazing.
Just WOW..... This is Aitutaki's number 1 restaurant. We stayed here, so the breakfast was part of our package. It was so delicious, and almost enough to do us for the whole day. We only had lunch there once, and again, it was tremendous. Dinner...in the restaurant over looking the lagoon was just something very romantic at sunset. The menu selection was good, and the meal was always delicious, and presented beautifully. We did regret personally thanking the chef before we left. Oh, and the Lava cake for desert was my definite favorite. We will be back again.More
We were 5 night guests at the resort and chose to take all of our meals at the restaurant. The food is first-class and this is exceeded only by the stunning views and the hospitality and personalition thst we received from the hospitality staff. They...take great pride in their work and aimed to provide us with an exceptional dining experience. Which they did. We did not need luch as the breakfast (part of modt packeges) and dinner were sufficient for our needs. The prices of food are competitively priced but we were prepared to pay for quality, that is why we chose to stay at the Racific resort. We look forward to our next visit and we will probably follow a similar dining pattern. Ngaa mihi nunui ki ngaa ringawera. He tohunga manaaki koutou katoa. We actually we visited the Blackrock bar several times during our stay for lunch, coffee and cocktails ...all highly recommended. Great setting offering sunshine, shade and shelter from showers if you get caught out. Friendly staff who couldn't be more accommodating in making sure you...enjoy your experience there; personable and efficient. Great value for money and happy hour was a bonus.More
For 8 days and nights we were treated to the most wonderful dining experiences (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner). The menu is extensive and absolutely amazing - at dinner it is fine dining with a special menu which changes every evening. Over 8 nights we did...not need to choose the same thing twice. The cocktails are also excellent. The highlight for us on the menu was the brown sugar pavlova, we had it 3 times!!! We could not fault the staff, so caring and friendly - they know what you wish to drink and also knew out names - just wonderfulMore

Exceptional service, views and cuisine! Whilst staying at Pacific Resort we found ourselves drawn to the Rapae Bay restaurant for every meal for the entire duration of our stay due to the broad range of dishes available including an evolving delicious chef’s special’s menu. The...beautiful staff were delightfully welcoming and spent time getting to know us (and our personal preferences) so meal times were enjoyable, relaxed and friendly! We highly recommend visiting the restaurant even if you aren’t staying at the resort as the chef, the staff, food, drinks and the views, are not to be missed!!!More
We had dinner here a number of times during our stay in Aitutaki. The food was delicious & as a coeliac (requiring gluten free food) I was very well taken care of & the staff clearly knew what they were talking about which was fantastic....There was always a great variety of dishes to choose from & they all tasted amazing! The staff were so friendly, helpful & polite which absolutely added to having a great dining experience. We will definitely return when we are back in Aitutaki next 😊More

To start off I’d like to address some of the reviews I’ve seen recently on service. I’d like to remind everyone why we choose Aitutaki in the first place. Slowing down and relaxing on a small island filled with 360 views of a pristine lagoon...and peace and quiet. Truly lose a sense of time here. It’s okay if service is slower, slow down and relax. Enjoy the company of your fellow traveler(s). Each table is greeted with a smile, exchange of pleasantries, and provided top notch service the entire meal. Drinks and food deserve a 5 star for presentation and taste. You truly get a 5 star experience, all around, as if you were amongst the hustle and bustle of a vast city. As my teen son said many times, “compliments to the chef!” And if anyone knows how hard it can be to please a newly ripe teenager of 13 - a true compliment. Could not recommend the food more and still salivating as I think of our many delicious meals. Please note - if you do happen to find yourself, in a hurry, at breakfast or lunch for your days upcoming adventure. The staff is more than accommodating, however; no one can read minds so share your agenda. I promise they will rush things along for you!More
The view from the restaurant is gorgeous. Staff are friendly, professional and lovely. Cocktails great and dessert fantastic! We felt the food (entrees, mains) was really only average, but the location, ambiance and staff pretty much made up for it.
